Nobody better wake me up tonight, so tired. T fell out of bed at 2 last night then called me in to show me her bunnies at 3 and 3.30! Up from 5.50 with children coughing all over the place. Bless DH is about to bring me dinner and then I'm off to bed.
hales that sounds like you're in a bad way. Are u seeing the dr tom?

SpottyTeacakes · 04/03/2015 20:51

I'll be going to bed soon too. WL I know it wasn't at the time but T wanting to show you the bunnies is so cute!

Whenever I ask ds to do something he says 'okay mummy!' It's so cute. If he's in a mad mood he growls it!

WLmum · 04/03/2015 22:11

Haha to the growling!
T was cute at bedtime holding her bunnies paws and making them high 5, but you're right, I was less impressed at 3am.
Are you feeling better now spotty?

SpottyTeacakes · 05/03/2015 05:57

I slept on a sofa cushion so that helped but I'm still having dizzy spells!

halestone · 05/03/2015 11:24

Spotty are you feeling better now?

WL how was last nights sleep?

I haven't gone the Drs as i coughed till i vomited last night and managed to get loads of gunk off my chest so actually managed to have a good sleep for a change. I have coughed till i vomited this morning also and loads more gunk has come up so i think its finally breaking up Grin

Hope it's clearing now Hales.

Dd was crying when she got off the bus because her throat is so sore. She's been complaining for three days now and has a slight temperature pondering whether or not I should send her to school tomorrow?

WLmum · 05/03/2015 21:56

Argh living with dm is driving me crackers! Only a few more days til her next op then really hoping that she'll be able to go home for a while after recovery and rehab (at least a month). I feel so guilty but argh!

WLmum · 05/03/2015 21:57

spotty see how she is over night and in the morning but might be a good idea to keep her home. Sore throats are so awful.

WLmum · 06/03/2015 01:46

Oh dear I've got 2/3 with temps. Just been reading slinky malinky (or flinky a flinky) in the near dark trying trying to get T back to sleep.

SpottyTeacakes · 06/03/2015 06:14

WL don't feel guilty I'm not surprised you feel that way.

Well dd was up in the night with her cough etc dh said she was not but didn't take her temperature so I still don't know what to do! If I wasn't working I would send her in I think.

SpottyTeacakes · 06/03/2015 06:33

Right no temperature so she's going!

Ummmm Kitty.... A normal temperature is 36.4 Im a bit Confused at 32.1 ...

WL you're doing a great job! Coping with sick children on top of everything else you're juggling is very impressive! I really hope you manage to find some time to take care of you and DH and give yourselves a break. Flowers

Hales good to hear the cough is breaking. Thanks for the disgusting goo info Grin I bet you felt better after that.

Hope everyone is feeling better and looking forward to a sunny weekend. DD seems to be coming out the other end of her developmental leap so nights are much calmer now, thank goodness! DS is soldiering on with his cold even though it is making him a lot more irritable and sensitive which is not fun

If the sun shines on Sunday we might go and visit some cows. DS loves going to see animals. Grin

WLmum · 06/03/2015 21:36

Thanks ladies. I'm just tired as the nights continue to be shocking. After the reading in the dark shenanigans, t had me back in several times until at 3 she called me in to high 5 me! She's an oddball.
hales glad you feel better but that must have been pretty grim. Sure you don't need some antibs though?
nutella I love seeing cows and farm animals, much more than bunnies etc. chickens are my fave.

halestone · 07/03/2015 11:57

H is so active and never shuts up i have no idea where she gets her energy. I am worn out watching her.

WL how are you feeling?

Nutella sorry about the over share. Grin

MrsNutella · 07/03/2015 12:28

Kitty I'm glad your DS is fine Smile

Actually we just got a new ear thermometer recently. DS really likes taking his temperature with it even though he can't actually manage it on his own but I am really annoyed that it comes with stupid little plastic caps that you then have to buy Hmm

Anyway...
WL sorry but a high 5 in the middle of the night would make me chuckle and be simultaneously unimpressed at the wake up! I hope T settles down and gives you more decent sleeps.

We took DS for a haircut this morning. High drama! He was not pleased. He looks cute but it isn't the best cut not surprising when you consider all the crying wriggling and screaming and it's really short - I love his gorgeous blonde hair! Still, that should last him another 2-3 months Grin

MrsNutella · 07/03/2015 14:43

Just got this classic from DS in the car
"MUMMY"
"Yes DS"
"Mummy talking to papa"
"Yes DS. So you need to be quiet"
"Hmmm pirate"
Confused

WLmum · 07/03/2015 18:35

Haha nutella!
