Welcome everyone. You're doing a good job by the way. Remember that.

I would also be absolutely raging at that. Dh is also a faffer and this delays us going out on time. He knows this stresses me too, but doesn't seem to make any difference

Re: coil chat, I had a copper one for 4 is years before removing it then conceiving. Was about to make apt to have put back in but a thread on here caught my eye about bloating being linked.

Now i think about it, I started getting bad (what i thought was) ibs bloating, and cant remember if i actually experienced it prior to the coil. Actually looked preggo as tum stuck out so much. Anyone else?

My dh is also a faffer... drives me mad how he can make simple things take so long! Especially when in the day i have 10 seconds to do things before ds goes into a rage :s

I feel that I should stand up for my people, the faffers. I am a faffer. I'm also compulsively punctual. The trick is to know yourself as a faffer, and to build in extra time to accommodate it.

Also I like to allow at least ten minutes to allow myself time to run round the house telling everyone we're going to be late before inevitably being half an hour early because of all the extra time.

Haha i think thats half the problem dh either doesnt realise hes a faffer or hes in denial ;)

Can you have a happy refluxer? N has thrown up every bf today - quite a bit - and I've introduced small bits of dairy the last few days after being dairy free for 6 weeks - do you think it's this? No green/bloody poos... But he's content! No screaming for no reason, just when he's tired or bored-nothing major. Oh god I'm so confused. I don't know whether to go to the doctors, give up dairy again or just calm down as its only been one really pukey day. HELP!!!! Confused

I have a happy refluxer sazzle and he is ok, gaining weight etc. I'm constantly covered in sick!

Liquid omeprazole exists - it is however £170 a bottle so GPs are loathe to prescribe it. To be fair its so syrupy I found it made Jonas choke so I preferred the tablets. Sorry you're going through this moose. Best to go to OOH now rather than having to make a festive trip to A&E with seasonal booze casualties!

Lil slept from 11-6 last night! After basically feeding every minute of the day that she wasn't in the sling. Growth spurt! Jonas was similar then the 4 month regression knocked sleep on the ass. It'd be so nice to miss that this time. Hmm

I'm a faffer too but have a system of timetabled procrastination like Tatty Grin

My nickname at uni was faffer, need I say more?! I hate waiting so can stand being early for anything - so I end up faffing whilst I leave it to the absolute last minute to leave the house. Drives my husband nuts but I can't change - I'm 33 now and been trying for years to change!!

Sazzle yes happy chuckers, as docs call them, do exist. Sounds like its just common or garden reflux not CMPI - see what happens after a couple of weeks on dairy.

sazzle and fedup - yep. Me too. DS regularly pukes and giggles at the same time. 95th centile, gaining weight, perfectly fine, but wearing a muslin round his neck in every photo. Am giving him anti-reflux milk mixed with regular formula (50/50) and he seems to have improved. Not going to bother with any meds unless there's a dramatic deterioration.

sazzle DS is very pukey but gains weight and is fairly smiley. Mil reckons it's cos I'm overfeeding him. I think it's just the way he is made. Apparently I was a big puker so perhaps it's in his genes (and in my hair, down my back etc)

Friends keep asking me when shall we meet up and exchange presents errmmm I've no idea what I've bought your child but I'm sure there will be something in the toys r us garage! Grin

It's my work night out tomorrow. I'm making myself go despite feeling like a fat sack. The plan is to feed him loads in the day, play out for about 3 hours, head home for more feeding. Hope I don't start leaking on the dance floor.

You ladies are such a rock to me thankyou. I'd been feeling so confident and actually enjoying this early baby bit with it being ds2 but the puke zone I've been in today made me feel wobbly, like I wasn't sure what I was doing.....again.
So glad to hear happy pukers do exsist fedup, jeanne, and rudy. and pregnant your description of your dd made me really laugh!!!
yellow yes I'll keep an eye on the dairy, at least I know I can cut it out now and it's not a trauma. I'll give it 2 weeks and see where we are.
