Poor hefner and goats having it for the third time must suck, at least you get some relief with antibiotics. I'm trying a new type as three week of co-amoxiclaf has not worked.

With regards to bf clothes I have found that the nursing vests from h&m really useful as I can wear them under anything and they will fit breast pads in them. I use a peanut nursing apron for bf in public, it has a wired collar so you can see down at lil one but you are nicely covered - I felt a bit self conscious so this has given me some extra confidence !

YellowWellies · 16/11/2014 17:26

Tatty that comment about laziness deserves to go on a T-shirt! I love it. Slummy Mummy I am Grin

sazzlehopes · 16/11/2014 17:27

Sorry to those of you with sore boobs, that massively sucks and I hope it gets better soon.

Also me23 sorry you've been having a rough time too.

Anyone else along with happy wondering about green poo and whether it's a foremilk thing or reflux I found this pretty helpful forums.llli.org/showthread.php?45363-Help-green-poop-dairy-allergy

I'm much more confident this time with bf in public as like yellow despite the fact my body has changed shape from having 2 babies I feel more confident weirdly with it. It grew 2 children and I'm pretty proud of that achievement! I'm also lucky though I guess being so flat chested that I can just use vest tops and not actual breast feeding bras...

Pregnantagain7 · 16/11/2014 17:59

Waaaaaaah! Fuck fuck fuck I've left my buggy on the school car park on Friday evening and driven off.

I'm so stupid in my sleep deprived state I've loaded the kids in the car I just driven away.
Everyone please keep there fingers crossed for me that a kind parent has taken it to the office and not stolen it. I'm buggered without my double buggy because I can't carry two babies at once so really need it.

I didn't even realise I'd done it til we all got to the park today and it wasn't in the boot I feel sick :(

Ha ha whilst I was typing this ds1 went in the bin and got his pooey nappy out he has just handed dp a turd much to dps disgust!

Pregnantagain7 · 16/11/2014 18:00

Their not there sorry Blush

Me23 · 16/11/2014 18:19

Oh no pregnant fingers crossed buggy is in safe hands.

V has been asleep most of the day I am worrying what tonight holds in store.

I tried to try out ergo or first time but v was sick as soon as I laid her in insert so have had to put it off for another day. I've had bit a week and still haven't used it.

YellowWellies · 16/11/2014 18:44

Me I prop the insert at 45 degrees on cushions on the sofa whilst I pop Lil in. Maybe worth a shot if V is a bit pukey?

YellowWellies · 16/11/2014 18:47

Pregnant shit I've just read that! Sad Fingers crossed. Folk are generally good with kids stuff.

Captainmcgraw · 16/11/2014 18:47

Hefner thanks sooo much for link. I've just followed all instructions - main thing I hadn't done was using a disposable nappy with hot water in as compress (ingenious), squeezed and picked at it, done a mammoth express and my painful engorged lumpy boob has gone back to normal (albeit a bit sore). Very glad as DH was suggesting he should try and suck it out if I was really desperate(!)

hefner · 16/11/2014 19:22

Oh no pregnant! Fingers crossed someone has handed it in.

Glad it worked Captain, it sucks having sore boobs.

fatpony · 16/11/2014 19:23

goats we did that exact gym changeover on Sat and it worked a treat! I did 45 mins of slow plodding on treadmill and some arm weights and left DH in the cafe with a bottle of milk. Came down to find him surrounded by a bunch of sweet five year olds keen on the baby. Then he went up while I had a coffee and the baby conked out in the pram. I actually read the flipping paper! The gym crèche only takes from 6 months so we might be using this method for a while.

STIGZ · 16/11/2014 19:53

Feeling exactly the same about the clothes situationHmm i just said to dp that i would love to get rid of everything and just start from scratch, im a bit skinnier than before i was pregnant and have dropped a dress size due to lack of appetite (and lack of wine) Winkthrough pregnancy & after, exactly the same thing happned first time around, so im reluctant to buy things in a size smaller as i know i will slowly but surely get back to my normal size at some point ?

Really impressed with all this talk about gyms & exercising, but like yellow with two kids i wont manage any proper exercise, i will need to rely on just running about like a blue arsed fly to keep me fit .

STIGZ · 16/11/2014 20:43

Meant to say pregnant thats a shame about your pramSad i would feel sick also! Hope to god that someone has handed it in, keep us posted ! Your face must of been a picture when you opened your bootShock

Pregnantagain7 · 16/11/2014 21:21

stigz anyone who saw me would have peed themselves laughing! I just kept saying but I just don't understand where it is?! I was so confused I thought someone had stolen it from my boot! I worked out that they hadn't because some bits were still there they carrycot etc so could imagine someone nicking half a buggy

I'm just hoping and praying someone has handed it in I've only left half of it the chassis and one seat so I'm just hoping no one would take half a buggy

I'm very impressed at people doing exercise I can't fit any gym trips in but our garage is fitted out as a boxing gym so I'm going to get dp (boxer) to train me in afew weeks it will give me a good excuse to punch him if he's not pulling his weight Grin

STIGZ · 16/11/2014 21:53

Honestly pregnant that is a bloody classicGrin even told my DP about it, just kept picturing you driving away none the wiser and your pram just sitting there abandoned, im actually giggling like a wee girl thinking about it!! Obviously not funny for you, i really hope you get it back Smile

fedupofrainydays · 16/11/2014 22:18

pregnant I had to laugh - both about the poo and the buggy. But really hope, particularly given it was at school, that someone hands the buggy it in.

We road tested the video monitor tonight - suprised how clear it is!

This week I'm determined to do some more exercise. I did my measuremenrs as trying to buy a new coat but refusing while my hips
Are this big!
Earlier this year got some gym equipment at home so I cancelled my gym membership (and crèche) so I have to take R sleeping in with me. If it time it right should be ok. Went once last week so this time I must go twice!

Just heard this weird noise that I thought was coming from downstairs but realised it was R! What weird noises they make...

Pregnantagain7 · 16/11/2014 22:20

It's ok I would pml if it happened to someone else!! Grin

I'm thinking at least it was at school I may have more chance of getting it back if it was the supermarket I'd probably have no chance.

Dp is not a happy bunny " pregnant how the fuck can you forget a big black double buggy?! It cost me over a grand and you leave it in a car park?!"

Ooops Blush

Pregnantagain7 · 16/11/2014 22:24

On a completely different subject has anyone started putting their babies to sleep in a different room yet?

I go so sick of the kids/dog/tv/door waking r up in the evening that for the last two nights I've put r upstairs to bed at 7 with a monitor obviously. He has slept much better but I feel like my tiny newborn days are coming to an end :(

fedupofrainydays · 16/11/2014 22:25

At least it wasn't the baby in the car seat. I've almlst done that before Blush

Pregnantagain7 · 16/11/2014 22:38

No fortunately I'd unclipped the car seat off the top of the buggy and put it in the car (with r in it)

I did however lock dd2 in the car when she was 3 months old that was a nightmare one of the mums from school had to go to my house, let herself in, go through my kitchen draw and find my spare keys!

Hmm I don't have a very good track record do I?!

Missus2ndwife · 16/11/2014 23:33

Fingers crossed for you Pregnant. I am waiting to do something like that... Or leave the baby in a trolley at the supermarket! It's easily done.

Fedup which video monitor did you get?

I'm also considering putting the baby in his room soon in the hope he'll settle better in the evenings/ be less grizzly.

Once my mom goes this week I think I should start looking into applying day/ night routines but wonder if it's too soon for a 4 week old.

fedupofrainydays · 17/11/2014 00:31

We have the Motorola one missus. Impressed so far!

My cracked nipple is back Sad Tryjng the jelonet this time. Did someone say it made theirs worse though??

STIGZ · 17/11/2014 02:54

Im also talking about putting baba into her own room, probably after christmas as it needs decorated.

She she sleeps so peacefully during the day but at night she sounds like a wee micro pig, i have a video monitor aswell and im really impressed like "fedup" it would be basically like she is in the same room as us only i can adjust the volume of her grunts and have a wee peak to see if i need to go in or not.

Megamoose795 · 17/11/2014 03:14

Anyone still up! I need to talk to someone other than a 3year old(yes my 3year old was recently awake) and my OH who keeps telling me hes trying to sleep!

Missus2ndwife · 17/11/2014 03:33

Thanks Fedup. That's another vote for Motorola.
What about you Stigz? What video monitor do you have?
