Wallace- i waited to wean dd at 24 weeks and will try and wait it out again this time to at least after xmas.

im still sore bf on my right side, every time he latches on my toes curl, this is despite seeing the bf counsellor 4 times, i mean hes 12 weeks now you think he wouldve got the hang of it by now.
hc - i second you on how it feels to stop bf, i stopped on dd when i started back to work at 6 months mainly because i couldnt express at work and bottles just seemed easier, however, because of the soreness this time around i keep saying once i get to 8 weeks ill stop, then its once i get to 12 weeks and now ive reset it to 16 weeks. it will just be so hard to finally call it a day.
ds slept from 11 to 3am but then woke hourly after that. i used to keep a sleep diary on dd and looked at it last night and she was still waking twice a night at 6 months[even after solids] so i guess im just destined to have insomniac children.
right im off to baby massage and get ds weighed
bye

Oh kayzed-I would be so upset. My nurse is always on top form luckily but still wonder if Sophie is getting the correct jab. You have every right to complain.

At least you have put your mind at ease. Now go and dunk your head under the tap or alternatively, put your bikini on and make out you have been swimming and have chlorine in your eyes-lol.

Aw KZ, big snuggly cuddle for you, poor Roshi and you, bad enough going for jabs than to doubt the competence of the pigging nurse! Nice or not, that's not on.

Clutch gone on my year old car so we spent today juggling my mum's car with her, and will continue to do so for next two days. Pain in the ARSE!

KBaby, smugness comes before a poo - Ds1 had wee in the car today, and didn't say a word, then pooed on the carpet this evening while I was bathing Toby. He did have the courtesy to tell me however, and lift up the beanbag to show me the offending article. It was like a crime scene, felt like drawing a chalk circle around it.

DVD packed up at the weekend, got a new one today, one of those DVD video combos...just got to figure out how to work it now.

Toby is CANNONING through formula milk - I am a bit concerned he is over feeding, am going to post on the feeding thread. He is a big boy, over 16 pounds, but 9 ounces every 3 hours????

Looks like it's red wine for dinner - DH and I do this about once amonth, get stuck in to the red and forego dinner. Great fun at the time, thirsty work in the morning...........

Night

Hi all, not posted for a while. Dom has been in a bit of a feeding frenzy (last night every 2 hrs) and when I got him weighed today he was 14lb 14oz (is 12 weeks), that's 1lb 13oz in 2 weeks . He's got really chunky little legs now. Last night was a bit hard-going, specially as I'd just got used to waking up once or twice and him settling easily, DH was trying to calm me down.

Hope \link {http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/thumbnails.html?c_album=4276198\this} works - Dom in a bear suit and at 11wks with his wobbly head

maewickedwitchofthewest · 24/10/2006 20:32

gah, trying again...

maewickedwitchofthewest · 24/10/2006 20:33

maewickedwitchofthewest · 24/10/2006 20:34

Hurrah!

prettymummified · 24/10/2006 20:56

peace at last!! both dc went down at 8!! yipee

feeling very overwhelmed with the mess at gthe moment!! it seems like no matter how hard i try this place cant seem to look decent!! aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh just need to let some steam out! the dirty clothes keep piling up, im endlessly washing dcs clothes, theres always dirty dishes to clean and multitasking is doing my head in!! was cryng down the phone to dp and he said when he comes in we'll organise everything so we can share out the household chores.

going into work tomorrow to talk about going back early only weekends so i can get a break from being mummy!! i feel like im losing my own identity and i want my old self back, laid back and in control!! just feel so exhausted! it doesnt help being on first af aswell!!!!

went doctors for juniors second set of jabs but didnt end up having them done as he has diohorea(is that the right spelling?)! he pooed all over my hand this morning!!

kz- hope you're feeling better!!

well im going to put some music on and start cleaning!!

Wallace · 24/10/2006 21:11

maeweat - still doesn't work! Think you have to make it public or something? Can't wait to see the results of that growth spurt

LOL at the poo under the beanbag Bloss! Have a nice evening

KZ - I am shocked about that nurse, poor Roshi! The Taggies are great, my sis bought Leo his, he loves sleeping with his face snuggled into it. I made dd a blankie when we found out she needed to go into hospital (she must have been about 7 months) and I wanted her to have a comforter whne we couldn't be with her. It really worked, and her blankie helped her get through 2 hospital stays, and she is still very attached to it at the grand old age of 5. I was going to make Leo one, but then I thought ds1 would feel left out as I didn't make him a blankie, so I am glad my sister bought Leo his taggie

I use the TT closer to nature bottles as well for EBM, and Leo took to them no problem.

Wallace · 24/10/2006 21:13

prettymum - I know what you mean about the mess (my house, not yours LOL I have just started that FLY lady thing that everybody goes on about, but think I may be a failure!

SleepIsForTheDead · 24/10/2006 21:47

errrrrrrm, what FLY thing?

Incompetant nurses, arrrrrrgh! They should be supervised or fired, that is what I say! (Bad experience of inexperienced MW getting me to do the wrong thing and LO going into distress because of it at the beginning of labour!!!!!)

Feel shattered - DS fed on both sides tonight and was still hungry - ate another 6 ounces little piggy only just got him to sleep now.

Isn't it awful when you finally sit down to chill and there is total cr*p on TV!

morning ladies,

how is everyone and their bubbas this morning?

Was so annoyed the other dat, wrote a mammoth post and then accidently deleted it. Never mind.

Koshka- I hope your not feeling too grotty hon!

Again absolutly beautiful pics of your lo's.

is anyone else feeling boody again? I have 3 dd's all under 5, and so feel like i want another. Am I mad?

DD1 (4) and Jasmine both have their jabs this afternoon. Booked it for when dh is off work, coz i cant cope with it, i will cry! So i think will have to buy dd1 a prezzie later to make up or it.

bf still going well, Jasmine feeds nearly every 2 hrs during the day and wakes up 2-3 times at night.

Had to take her to the docs on monday as she has aggravated excema, it was bleeding and she was crying (me too). but she is a lot better now.

I went to me first weight watchers meeting on monday evening. I was quite impressed as the week b4 I weighed myself at 10st 5. i ate like a pig all week, like the last supper (lol), tons of choccy and cheesecake. And on monday night i weighed in at 10st 3 (yes! get in there), do you think if i continue to eat like that i will still lose weight? who needs weight watchers!

On the flip side poor jasmine had a bad time. She is a clingy baby and it was the first time i left her alone. She did not like it at all. Dh just couldn't settle her. She was on my boob tons that night, for comfort i think. I started crying when i came home and saw how upset she was, wish dh had phoned me, like i told him too.

Well, jaz is stirring so better go. have a good day!

pinkdolly · 25/10/2006 10:56

Hc- was just wandering how heavy Sophie was at 15 weeks.

Just got Jasmine weighed and she is only 10lb 9 oz.

JeanieG · 25/10/2006 11:13

Hi all,

I have been attempting to do the FLY lady thing. I quite like it, although I do pick and chose what I am going to do. I do need the help and direction in the home making department as I have a bad habit of just leaving the house and going to visit someone when it gets too messy and I can't be bothered tidying up.

The link is here . Have a gander.

KZ- Hope you're feeling happier today. I really felt for you and Roshi yesterday when I was reading your posts.

I am still BF Abbey. Things are still going well. She was weighed last week and was 11lb 14 at 13 weeks.

Right am off, Abbey is crying and Sian (DD2) wants me to do her hair so she can play out.

Speak soon

Byeeeeeee
xx

usandbump · 25/10/2006 11:44

Hello all

Only had time to scan posts, hope you are all ok.

I'm turning into a zombie again, Zack wakes every 2 hours through the night, so I am averaging 1 1/2 hours between each feed. I'm starting to think I haven't got enough milk which would be a complete nightmare seeing as he won't take a bottle.

He also has another cold so I didn't take him to clinic yesterday as it was pouring down, I'm going to have to try and get him to the nurse though to see if she will weigh him. He hasn't been gaining weight very well so I'd rather not leave it another week.

I've also got my 3rd AF in 8 weeks they are coming every 2-3 weeks and they are very heavy. So depressing

Sorry to moan to you all AGAIN

maewickedwitchofthewest · 25/10/2006 11:47

Ok, have made it public, so pics should be here

prettymummified · 25/10/2006 11:59
