Congrats stunt! Xx

Lily311 · 12/10/2014 10:05

Congratulations stunt. I had a dream of pr being pregnant too Wink.

Wandathewindfairy · 12/10/2014 10:08

Wonder pr you too? Lovely news indeed Wink

Ok so am at airport. V foggy. Can actual planes take off in fog? The must be able too, there doesn't seem to be any delays. Feeling nervous Confused

Wandathewindfairy · 12/10/2014 10:08

Predictive text of your nightmares sorry.

YellowWellies · 12/10/2014 10:15

Wanda I did a climate change risk study for Heathrow airport (I got to go into the ATC tower and everyfink!) - yes planes can take off fine in fog (they rely primarily on instruments not visuals) its ground movements which are most risky so the separation distances are increased in fog to prevent prangs on the ground as planes move to and from stands. If an airports schedule isn't too busy there'll be no need for delays - because Heathrow operates at 90% capacity even a slight increase in separation distances at take off and landings leads to delays and cancellations.

Wandathewindfairy · 12/10/2014 11:03

My plane has been over the airport waiting to land for about 40 mins. Other planes seem to have landed I suspect my little prop plane doesn't have the relevant kit. I am at Brum as well so they are a bit more Brummie laid back here

PetiteRaleuse · 12/10/2014 11:35

There is no way even in your dreams I will be having another kid lily

Elizadoesdolittle · 12/10/2014 12:10

I'm on the train, child free. DH and the girls came to wave me on the train as it's on their way to the park. E didn't blink an eye and waved at me cheerfully. This is a massive improvement. Previously she would be in tears. She even let DH change her nappy and get her dressed this morning. My little girl is manning up Smile

itsnotyouitsMeals · 12/10/2014 13:04

Hugs izzy. Imagine it's v hard.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 12/10/2014 15:18

Thanks meals

Wandathewindfairy · 12/10/2014 17:54

Sigh.

Thinking about qm

Thinking chasing has something to tell us

Thinking I quite fancy reviewing twin Peaks before the next series comes out. Does anyone have a box set they would like to loan me for a watch? I would care for it as if it were one of my own.

Obviously I got back safely. DH has completed some chore I only asked once for him to do and prepared a nice dinner. The laundry is pretty much as upto date as it would be if I had been home, schooliforms are ready for tomorrow, shoes cleaned. And I have Wine
Is there a Brownipoint emoticon?

isles7 · 12/10/2014 18:04

Big hugs izzy, I can't imagine how hard that must be Sad

Massive congrats stunt - I skimmed over your post about boot space the other day and assumed you were buying a puppy, ha! Lovely news x

Massive brownie points there wanda

I have back to school feeling. Holidays officially over, back to work tomorrow just in time for another week of chaos moving back to my - hopefully beautifully refurbished - office. Grump.

I have a bit of a man dilema. A night mulling my options and thoughts over with myself, wine and greens chocolate. I'm pants at this dating lark!

StuntNun · 12/10/2014 18:07

The puppy plan is now on hold Isles! We were hoping to get a Staffie next Spring but that ain't going to happen now.

isles7 · 12/10/2014 18:15

I remember you saying that ages ago, hence I assumed puppy!

StuntNun · 12/10/2014 19:25

I have Twin Peaks Wanda. An excuse for a get together? Has Ikea been making it's siren call?

OP posts:
Wandathewindfairy · 12/10/2014 19:44

That would be great. I would be better with a sat or sun though as I have to get ds1 at 12.

Or how would Banbridge outlet suit? Sat or sun would still be a bit better. I hear there is s new cafe there and there is the w5 thing there too isn't there?

ChasingDaisy · 12/10/2014 20:11

Hi quiche!

Just place marking really. Life is so busy at the moment that I'm finding it hard to get time to post.

Just wanted to say congratulations to Stunt!

PetiteRaleuse · 12/10/2014 20:32

Eek. I have a busty week ahead. Fruit salad Tuesday for actual fuck's sake packing for hols on Saturday, LO's creche birthday party on Friday and a new and time consuming section of my course starting also on Friday. Which means I have to bake two birthday cakes before 8.30 Friday morning.

PetiteRaleuse · 12/10/2014 20:33

Busty? Busy obviously. Though busty too due to all the weight I have piled on this week.

Wandathewindfairy · 12/10/2014 20:52

I could do with a busty week ahead if you saw flat chested me squashed between 2 lovely clevages on fb.

BigPigLittlePig · 12/10/2014 21:22

Oh wanda. I thought you looked the loveliest by a country mile.

And oh Izzy Sad big hugs. It is one thing deciding to have no more children, but quite another to have that decision cemented irreversibly Thanks

Hiya Chasing! I got all excited then, and resorted to a bit of fb stalking Grin

Lovely day today, lazy early afternoon napping with both girls, then playing in the garden before devouring a big roast and homemade rice pudding. And now, for the first time in a year, both cat AND dog are in the living room together and not fighting Shock Smile

PetiteRaleuse · 12/10/2014 21:59

wanda I agree with pig that you looked the loveliest. I hate my boobs. I liked them when they were still pert, but seriously am considering breast reduction and reshaping to be pert again as they hurt my back and make me feel v self conscious, especially living in a country where big boobs are quite rare. They aren't even that big, but too big for me.

izzy I am very sorry and have been wondering how to comment on your comment all day so here are some Thanks

BigPigLittlePig · 12/10/2014 22:05

I have lost my boobs somewhere. They were never big apart from when I was bf but with the stress of exams lately my weight is at an all time low, and quite frankly my boobs are no longer entitled to that name.

Operation pork-up has commenced Grin

izzybizzybuzzybees · 12/10/2014 22:10

Pork up bigpig sounds fun!

Thanks everyone. I'm just having a low day or two I think. It's unlikely we would have had another for many reasons . I'm struggling with post op pain so think I need to see GP tomorrow as well.

isles7 · 12/10/2014 22:55

hugs izzy. Hope you get the pain sorted. It must be horrible having the decision taken away from you. Not really the same, but I was told at about 17 I wouldn't be able to have kids and despite having no desire to be a mum at that stage I remember being really upset that the decision wasn't mine. and then M happened Confused

Well I sat in traffic for 3 hours tonight. I was only 11 miles away from home too Hmm

I am on a massive diet to try and lose 3 stone by next summer. I'd be happy with 2, but want to go down to 3. 3.5 would take me to pre-baby weight but that's too much. I lost just over half a stone before going away last week but reckon I've put most of that back on being a complete pig all weekend. Anyway, my point was the more weight I lose the more by boobs shrink. I am seriously considering treating myself to a boob job and a tummy tuck once I've reached my ideal weight. I don't plan on having any more kids and just want my figure back Sad

Wanda I too genuinely thought you were the loveliest and time has definitely treated you the best!!
