wanda they are more convenient for my purpose. I hangthe bread bag on the doorknob every morning for the baker to put the bread in. I wouldn't be able to hang a bread bin on the doorknob.

Lily311 · 10/10/2014 20:31

Hello,

Watch Greys pr, it was good.
O is at my parents and I run the marathon tomorrow. Well, part of it. With my cousins. So should be in bed right now but still need to have a shower.

PetiteRaleuse · 10/10/2014 20:50

Last night's lily ? Ace!

One toddler screaming in her bed. The other toddler's screams in her bed calmed by an ipad with netflix Hmm

PetiteRaleuse · 10/10/2014 20:51

I am shuffling between thetwo and gulping Wine when I can get away with it.

DH is going to pay for this.

rootypig · 10/10/2014 21:07

It's nap time here on the west coast because I am ignoring S's whines and I am going to watch Grey's too. it is so shit in the best way Grin

StuntNun · 10/10/2014 21:13

I left my brother (who doesn't have children) to look after J for five minutes and came back to a nursery rhyme disaster. We now have to sing, "The cows on the bus say moo moo moo... all day long." Oh well at least we get two favourite nursery rhymes for the price of one.

Lily311 · 10/10/2014 21:16

Yes, last night's. Watched it at lunch time while ironing. rooty I fancy shepherd and avery Jackson. That's why I watch it :).

PetiteRaleuse · 10/10/2014 21:32

Watching it now :)

PetiteRaleuse · 10/10/2014 21:33

I like Avery. And Karev. And the old chief. Richard Blush.

isles7 · 10/10/2014 21:36

I'm also way more of a lurker than a poster but have time to post just now!

Way to go BPLP ! Huge congrats

Rooty sorry things have been so tough. You just sounds so lost, I hope the quiche can help support you.

When does Greys come to UK tv? PR hope you get some you time soon x

stunt "all day long" gets added to most sentences/songs here.

Great news on the car eliza . What did you go for? I know I only bought my car in March but I am going to trade it in for something a bit more economical next year (this past week of driving has proven how shockingly bad the fuel economy is). Plus I love swishy gadgety things and my vauxhall is a bit basic. read, I can't work the bluetooth Hmm Blush

We are just back from our wee holiday. Was a lot of fun but I am absolutely knackered! M and I went horse riding and every day since she has asked me if we are going to go on the horseys back again. I'm going to start lessons (for both of us - I went as a teenager for about a year but stopped after spooking myself falling off a horse) next Spring. We drove about 300 miles today Shock And I'm going to view a teeny tiny, overpriced house tomorrow. Like I said on fb, I'm not in a huge rush to buy personally but a perk offered through work that makes total financial sense runs out next year so I do want to take advantage of that. property porn

izzybizzybuzzybees · 10/10/2014 21:45

If its teeny tiny and over priced then should you look at it?

isles7 · 10/10/2014 21:49

I'm just looking at what I can get for my money in this area. The new build I went to see was a non starter and the bloody saleswoman tried to tell me absolute crap about something i do everyday!

PetiteRaleuse · 10/10/2014 22:12

isles would love a fb update on xp and this holiday. Did he leave you alone?

To be fair m is a tad young for regular horseriding. You will be on a lead rein til she is at least three/four and strong / intelligent enough to understand the use of reins and has the strength to stop a pony.

However... Lead rein lessons will give her balance experience. And fun.

DD1 is big for her age. I'm putting it off as long as I can. Despite her being big enough and strong enough she doesn't have the intelligence, yet.

PetiteRaleuse · 10/10/2014 22:30

Watched Greys. Meh. I so dislikeGrey and Shepherd that whenever it is about them I kimd of switch off. Grin

Elizadoesdolittle · 10/10/2014 23:05

isles It's an s-max so totally not economical but with a third dc on the way it's essential for me. If I wasn't pregnant I wouldn't be getting a new car. And actually it is a year older than the car I have now! Glad you had a fab holiday. DD1 aged 4.7 only just rode a pony for the first time in August. She is desperate to do it again but is so expensive round these parts.

And pass. My brain has just engaged and recalled your post on fb. I hope these comments re cars haven't come across as insensitive.

Passmethecrisps · 10/10/2014 23:08

Lovely eliza!

Our lives are all so different that we can't really afford to be offended at difference. You deserve a quiche snog for caring though

Love to all. Holidays start today. Two nights at ganny gampa then us girls for a fortnight. I am so looking forward to it. Xxx

PetiteRaleuse · 10/10/2014 23:24

Enjoy pass

In a week we are all on hols for two weeks. DH included. We are going for the first week up to the coast to enjoy the wind and rain sea air near Calais. The second week we are vegging out. LO will be in nursery and I have promised multiple play dates to my ex shrink.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 11/10/2014 01:33

No kids here and I'm still awake. Have finished all 5 series of the vampire diaries. Hubby out tonight and with my dad. Should have been home a while ago. I'm grumpy and sore and want to sleep but no point til he's home.

Wandathewindfairy · 11/10/2014 05:47

Big snogs for everyone before Mn goes down.

Hope the run goes well -lily I am so impressed with all this running you are doing.

pr there were childish giggles last night imagining a bread bin swinging from your door handle! I had heard bread was better kept in a cloth bag, I have't got a bread bin and was wondering about getting. A bread bag. As well as a potato bag. I have wanted one for years and never got round to it.

Just at the airport about to fly to england. Unfortunately I won't be seeing the girls this time but going to this reunion, hence fashion advice this week. Dad is taking me out to lunch as well so should be a good day. Might need to see if I can fit a snooze in on the plane though.

I too am feeling left out of Greys. I haven't seen any of it and would love too. Is the only way by box set?

So everyone, have a lovely lovely Saturday and hopefully I will catch up later. Xx

izzybizzybuzzybees · 11/10/2014 14:06

Mumsnet is back!!

MsJupiter · 11/10/2014 16:54

Hi quiche, hope all are well. I follow what's going on on fb but less on MN these days.

Well done BP!

Eliza car sounds lovely. Would love a new one. Ours is a 3 door and the bloody mechanism to pull the front seat forward has broken so I have to rely on L climbing over and sitting nicely in his car seat so I can strap him in. Fun game.

His favourite phrase at the moment is 'don't want it, okay' which is kind of comical but wearing. He's been poorly sick the last couple of weeks (sick bug then cold) and that's causing overtiredness and frustration to come out. The terrible twos are approaching and will be strong in this one I feel.

StuntNun · 11/10/2014 17:57

The S-Max is a brilliant car Eliza, I got mine in 2010 and I'm going to keep it at least until DS1 is learning to drive. I'm not looking forward to losing half the boot space next April though. We went out for a walk today with J's SmartTrike and DS1 and DS2's scooters in the back and I didn't even need to take the pushchair and other assorted stuff out of the boot first.

I don't think bread bags are all that good Wanda. Certainly great for PR's purposes but the reviews of the Lakeland ones suggest they're prone to going mouldy and then you can't get the smell out. I use this expanding bread box which comes with a handy slicing guide which is great for the breadmaker bread even with my inadequate bread knife.

I never finished series 5 of the Vampire Diaries Izzy was it good? It isn't on Sky OnDemand, Netflix or Amazon Instant Video so it'll be a while before I can catch up. Series 2 of the Originals starts this week though. Wanda Grey's Anatomy is on Sky OnDemand at the moment iirc. I'm tempted to watch it but I'm worried about getting hooked on a new show when I've just started Lost from the beginning. I'm eagerly awaiting Person of Interest though, is that coming back?

OP posts:
PetiteRaleuse · 11/10/2014 18:06

Series 4 of Person of Interest is 3 episodes in. Pretty good so far.

PetiteRaleuse · 11/10/2014 18:07

Feck I wrote a long post earlier on and it didn't go up. Nevermind it was just ramblings really.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 11/10/2014 18:59

stunt I watched it online via website my friend told me about.....
