Brilliant! I absolutely love the stories we get.

She is currently in love with a boy called Connor it seems. He gets his own song

BigPigLittlePig · 02/10/2014 21:45

Awesome Grin

3 sleeps til exam Shock
Am not normally one for homeopathic stuff, but will be getting some Bach Rescue Remedy ahead of this, I used to use it quite often before presentations, but haven't been this nervous about anything for years. Not even my wedding day. Proper stomach-flipping belly nerves.

Passmethecrisps · 02/10/2014 21:50

Bleaurgh . Sounds intense.

What possible harm can there be of trying? I know plenty people who swear by then

Elizadoesdolittle · 02/10/2014 21:52

E appears to have a crush on Tim from Topsy and Tim. DD1 has loads of old school topsy and tim books which were handed down to her. E searches them out and brings one to me saying "tim tim" and we have to spot him on every page. Today at swimming she kept saying "ella swim tim". Took me ages to figure out what she was going on about when I remembered topsy and tim go swimming is one of her favourites. They are funny little things.

Pikz · 03/10/2014 07:21

Awwwww loving the crushes

L is a little girl from school called Ava

Whispers so the fairies don't hear me but I think the vom has gone!

BigPigLittlePig · 03/10/2014 08:00

Hope vom stayed absent, pikz.

9 - 5 in her own bed last night, and enormous snuggly cuddles when she came into our bed Smile

Shame dh is being a grump this morning.

Elizadoesdolittle · 03/10/2014 08:11

pikz. Excellent, fingers crossed.

bplp Good news. Sorry about grumpy DH.

Having a more chilled day today. Going to meet a friend who is "working from home" and have lunch at a local pub which has a garden with children's bits to keep E busy. Can't believe it's October and am contemplating sitting in a garden to have lunch. Loving this weather.

PetiteRaleuse · 03/10/2014 08:23

Morning quiche. I am also loving this weather. I dislike summer but love lovely warm autumns when it is cold overnight, misty in the morning and warm in the afternoon.

I am also having lunch out today.

DD1 is apparently complaining of headaches at school. At home she is complaining of tummy aches. I can't work out what is wrong. I'm sure it is in her head, but she can't quite articulate what is worrying her. It is very frustrating. In the space of just over a week she has gone from being a happy, bubbly, excited little girl to being scared. Of something.

Good news pikz fingers crossed.

StuntNun · 03/10/2014 09:36

Rescue Remedy is great stuff BP. Tbh I don't care whether it's a placebo effect or not, it tastes nice and that alone makes me feel better. I like the night one too, I used to use that and Paul McKenna's CD when I had insomnia.

Poor DD1 pr. It's so hard to work out what's going on in their heads at that age.

I've just had another funny turn so good job I have a quiet day lined up. The bump pains came on whilst walking DD1 to school. Felt like I was going to pass out. Got home, was sick, lied down and within 20mins it had passed and now I feel almost normal. So weird. Oh and I felt all tingly, especially in my fingers. Think I better contact the midwife if this keeps happening. Never had anything like this with my other 2 pregnancies.

Zamboni · 03/10/2014 13:06

Oh PR that must be worrying for you. Can you snatch some one on one time with her? Otherwise I guess lots of cuddles and open questions about how is she feeling?

Eliza, I would think it is definitely worth mentioning to the midwife - it's probably nothing but just in case. Cuuuuute about E's crush. DD has had a massive, all encompassing crush on Penny Morris from Fireman Sam for well over a year now. S is currently obsessed with [http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/60195740/ this]

hope all the vom is gone for good Pikz.

Zamboni · 03/10/2014 13:10

Link fail. The large ikea soft toy carrot.

PetiteRaleuse · 03/10/2014 13:55

I have an idea of what (who, in fact) is bothering her but want to hear it from the teacher first iyswim. Scared isn't the right word. Very preoccupied would cover it better.

YellowWellies · 03/10/2014 15:31

Anyone got a good oaty cookie recipe? Am contemplating baking dairy free goodness.

Wanda the joules outlet store on eBay has a skirt made from the same material as my yellow dress in it at the mo with 60% off.

PetiteRaleuse · 03/10/2014 16:00

Right. Problem sorted with DD1. All was revealed in the little note the teacher sent me. Need to do some chatting but I now understand what is worrying her.

BigPigLittlePig · 03/10/2014 19:39

Eliza deffo mw please, likely to be nothing but needs checking xx

Screamathon underway, but she hasn't quite worked out she can leave her bed yet Grin

PR I hope dd1s woes are easily resolved.

Kyz · 03/10/2014 19:44

Evening ladies!

Put e's 'i'm gonna be a big brother' t-shirt on him and took him visiting, so today has been a happy one here :) I know it's still early but I made the decision that should anything awful happen, I'd go crying to my family anyway. Close family only are who we've told and it's staying that way. I'll pop a pic of e in his t-shirt on facebook :)

Bless her pass that's sweet :) E usually announces 'plaaanes' or 'hopcopter' upon waking Hmm

sounds worth a go bp, 3 sleeps is not long, but then at least it'll be done with soon :)

fx the vom has gone pikz!!

i'd definitely let the MW know Eliza i'm sure it's nothing but better to be safe :) xx

hope the things dd1 is worrying about can be easily fixed pr

PetiteRaleuse · 03/10/2014 20:13

Sorry. eliza can you email or sms your symptoms to your mw? Or phone? If it doesn't feel like the other pregnancies it is best to get it checked out.

PetiteRaleuse · 03/10/2014 20:15

DD1's woes will be ok. Am on it and organising a playdate to fix it

PetiteRaleuse · 03/10/2014 20:35

Our quiche mama has arrived in her new home :)

Elizadoesdolittle · 03/10/2014 20:52

ok wise quiche, if/when it happens again I will contact midwife. Been fine since this morning and baby is nice and active. It's just so weird when it happens!

But had a lovely afternoon. I was just going out to meet my friend for lunch when the doorbell went. It was a delivery of flowers from DH. I think it's only the 3rd time DH has sent me flowers in the 15yrs I've known him so was a lovely surprise. Then had a lovely lunch sitting in a pub garden and E actually slept for first part meaning I could eat my lunch in peace. I've just got out of the bath and DH bought me up a cup of tea so am feeling truly spoilt and quite relaxed. Oh and I am about to tuck into a bar of galaxy, my fave!

pr I'm glad your concerns re DD1 have come to light. Hope it's easily solved.

Good news re qm.

BigPigLittlePig · 03/10/2014 21:23

Eliza please speak to them on Monday. At least get your bp and urine checked - even if you feel fine in between

Doctors orders Wink

BigPigLittlePig · 03/10/2014 21:24

Oh and strongly suspect I have just booked into a real life Faulty Towers for my pre-exam snooze...

Passmethecrisps · 03/10/2014 21:44

Uh oh

PetiteRaleuse · 03/10/2014 22:03

Agree with piggy

The baby is probably fine. But you are important too eliza
