Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Elizadoesdolittle · 18/09/2014 08:14

I have let it go being blasted out for the 5th time running. Luckily it's time to do the school run soon. My ears hurt.

fruitpastilles · 18/09/2014 08:39

Hello everyone gosh! I haven't been on the thread for ages! just thought I'd pop in and say hi. Have read back a few posts, but not the whole thread, enough to say eek yw I'm so so very jealous that you will very soon have newborn snuggles! I sincerely hope you get to vote in person today though!

Wow bp that's some going this morning! I've managed to put a wash on and get S her breakfast and that's about it ha.

wanda poached eggs in peace sounds wonderful! I've taken to skipping breakfast and having something to eat when S goes down for her nap around 10:30 just so I can eat in peace. Need to get out of that habit though and eat breakfast when she does.

We went shopping for S's winter boots on Monday and got her some nice snuggly jumpers and other wintery lovelies. Can't wait for it to get cold now Smile

Hope everyone is well. I will have a read back more thoroughly when S naps today.

I join in. Mini wellies 6lb 1 arriving on Sunday at 7.02 am

My child is in nursery, I cooked, mopped, set up washing twice and now started to print my Ou materials. Miss her though.

Wandathewindfairy · 18/09/2014 09:27

Ok my position is this.....

Mini Wellies arrives Saturday Afternoon 16:45, 7lbs 1oz

fruitpastilles · 18/09/2014 10:30

I think a girl, Tuesday, 6lb 6

Elizadoesdolittle · 18/09/2014 10:49

ok I'll say monday. 8.05 am. weighing 6lbs 5ozs.

YellowWellies · 18/09/2014 11:19

Haha I'm loving the sweepstake! My contractions are 4-5 mins this morning according to the CTG I've just been on. I'm kinda hoping baby turns up on the 24th as its the anniversary of my Mums death - is that macabre? Just after 18 years of it being a sad day it would be nice to have some light.

I'm allowed to go home! With instructions to head back ASAP if it hots up. Whoop.

Elizadoesdolittle · 18/09/2014 12:30

No I don't think that's macabre yw. It would be some what fitting I think. Glad you've got sent home. I expect the bear has been missing you.

YellowWellies · 18/09/2014 12:56

No the bear is an utter daddy's boy as punishment for my disappearing act! Playing skittles with birth balls and cubicle curtains during visitors hour last night, trying to pull out my cannula etc was much more fun that mummy cuddles. Wee feck!

Elizadoesdolittle · 18/09/2014 13:27

Haha sounds about right. I remember what DD1 was like when I got out of hospital with E. She missed the things they used to get up to. Mind you she is still a proper daddy's girl.

Pikz · 18/09/2014 13:38

Sunday evening 6lb6 for me Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 18/09/2014 14:30

I think it is a girl, but since my pre labour lasted weeks with plug intact no idea how long it will last with no plug. I'm giving you a week. 24th or 25th. And no, it's not a macabre thought at all Flowers

I don't know anything about weights in lbs so will go for 6lb as that is what I weighed when born.

Wandathewindfairy · 18/09/2014 14:50

Lol yw Os due date was the anniversary of my mums death! first I thought macabre and then I thought no how brilliant. He arrived the day after which is good enough for me!

Jims · 18/09/2014 18:04

Sweepstake: I go for Saturday at 11:15am (a nice civilised hour) at 6lb1oz. I reckon another boy bear.

Everyone sounds like they've had very productive days. Our air con broke at work so I have spent the day being hot. Am now shattered.

F woke me up this morning, fortunately just before the alarm, singing an approximation of the hokey-cokey. Twas vair cute.

Zamboni · 18/09/2014 20:40

I think another boy, 6lbs3oz, Sunday early hours!

Jims - cute! DD called the Hokey Cokey the Okey Dokey. Smile

QuicheMama · 18/09/2014 21:36

Not caught up properly, but Mini Wellies is a girl, she will be born on 1st October at 9am and weigh 7lb on the nose.

Elizadoesdolittle · 18/09/2014 21:48

I remember when you posted a picture of your 20 wk scan yw and we all tried to guess whether mini wellies was a girl or boy. Think I said another boy. Can't remember!

I should do that with my 20wk one. I keep swinging as to whether I think I'm having a girl or boy. I mainly think girl as that's all I know and think I must be destined to have only girls. Will be interesting to hear others thoughts.

I've just watched obem usa. God it's so more dramatic than the english one. Typical amercians!

Got my appt for E on 21st October so not that far away at all. Am absolutely kicking myself for not doing this a year a go but there we go.

Passmethecrisps · 18/09/2014 22:55

Beautiful wimmins.

My voting paper says:
Boy
Girl X

And weight . . . 6ib 7

It is soooooooooo exciting!

P went to sleep hugging her toy tractor. You can take the mum out the country . . .

Passmethecrisps · 18/09/2014 22:59

But eliza do you think you would have had a full picture a year ago? This time last year p was only just eating solids in a semi-regular way. Wee e obviously had eating/swallow issues and I know that hindsight is wonderful but actually I think you will be able to push further and harder now than you would before. Don't wallop yourself over timings - I think you have shown extraordinary patience, courage and resolve over an issue which would have had many (me included) in pieces

izzybizzybuzzybees · 19/09/2014 01:23

Still here and reading. Nothing to post. Found bargain thread.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 19/09/2014 01:30

Wonder what the result of the haggis referendum will be....

Lily311 · 19/09/2014 05:36

Awful night here. She was awake every 15 min, she has a slight cold so I'm wondering if that bothered her.

Forgot to say, I'm guessing it's a boy.

I'm off tonight for a wine festival with friends, the guy I really like will be there too Blush. And period just arrived so will need to manage not to take painkillers if I want to have a drink.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 19/09/2014 06:43

You should be OK to drink on ibuprofen? It's not affected by alcohol is it?

Just seen the results of referendum. It's a no.

Wandathewindfairy · 19/09/2014 06:53

Sorry everyone but thing P and O are destined to be together, he with his wheelbarrow and hay and her with her tractor. That's compatibility I say.

Morning btw.

And this is love look. I checked up on you last before I have checked the results of the referendum!

Wandathewindfairy · 19/09/2014 06:55

Obviously I had 'to read to the end........ You saw it here first izzy hard nosed news breaker!
