nature Sad Flowers. I'm afraid I don't remember much about last time except for living on coffee and falling asleep in my clothes. Hope things pick up soon. Try to leave O with someone for a couple of hours to go for a walk or something too. That time is magic!

getting your post was withdrawn but the pic is still up, in case that is why you reported it. Smile

I now have two pics on my profile but only visible in the desktop version for some reason. Hmm

Sorry I can't help with tax credits info felix but good luck!

How has A been for you this morning becca?

This is the nile near inlaws' flat. Weather is always sunny here!

crap. altered I drink decaf Sad Maybe that is where I am going wrong. Hopefully this week will be the worst. Roll on the weekend Smile

Gettingthroughthis · 04/09/2014 09:59

Thank you altered

I can't see your pics as log on mobile site but will try with laptop later

nature I'm sure you'll adjust, like we all did when we had babies that don't sleep like my tb

FelixFelix · 04/09/2014 11:08

Thanks million, I will have a look!

Nature I honestly don't know how any of you cope with working and looking after a baby! I'm in awe Smile hope you're feeling less exhausted soon.

Health visitor has just been and is pleased with S and how she is developing which is good!

I can't see pictures on the app Sad

AMillionNameChangesLater · 04/09/2014 11:10

Nature it is tough. Have one night a week you go to sleep at 8, it does help. Also, realise you can't do everything, let things slide. It gets easier

Dh's passport arrived, he's coming to Oman with us, booked on the same flight too!

alteredimages · 04/09/2014 11:16

Great million! This will make flight easier x1000. Grin please let us know all about your trip once you are back.

alteredimages · 04/09/2014 11:27

toby, you have been very quiet lately. Hope all is ok with DD1.

FelixFelix · 04/09/2014 12:27

Yay million I'm so pleased for you!

Naturegirl82 · 04/09/2014 13:44

Felix glad the hv is happy. Was that your 9 month review?

Yay million brilliant news.

TobyLerone · 04/09/2014 15:06

Aw, thanks, altered :) We're all ok. DD1 had fracture clinic yesterday and all is healing as expected. She's back at school now, and back at her dad's (where she lives most of the time). I'll see her on the weekend :)

We've just been really busy lately. DS has gone back to school today, so there was all the Back To School faff to do. M hasn't been sleeping well and DH has been working from home this week. So it's all been a bit manic!

Excellent news, million :)

The Nile's looking beautiful, altered!

TobyLerone · 04/09/2014 15:07

Good news, felix. Well done, Sylvie!

FelixFelix · 04/09/2014 15:34

Yes it was 8/9 month review. HV is a nice lady but I was a bit Hmm when she suggested I feed S wotsits or quavers as finger food!

TobyLerone · 04/09/2014 16:48
Shock
FizzypopFireball · 04/09/2014 20:46

There's an 8/9 month review? Henry hasn't even had his 6 month! He's blimmin' 8 months on Saturday!

FelixFelix · 04/09/2014 20:58

We had one at 3/4 months then this one. She said there's no more until she's 2 now. Might be different in other areas of the country, I'm not sure.

Gettingthroughthis · 04/09/2014 21:02

I've had no checks either

Woo million great news :)

beccajoh · 04/09/2014 21:30

We have a 12 month review where I live, then a two-year-old check, although for this they just send a letter with a list of things two year olds should be able to do and say to contact them if you have any concerns.

The kids and I stayed with MIL last night as we were having some painting done at home. MIL had Archie overnight and he was, of course, a little angel. Woke twice for his dummy but otherwise was asleep from 7.30pm until about 6.45 this morning. TB.

I noticed today that he's constantly trying to fiddle with silky feeling material - labels in clothes and so on - so at bed time I gave him a silky pair of knickers to fiddle with Blush He stopped crying and went straight off to sleep LOL Grin

More LOLs. Just been in to look at him and he's fast asleep on his side cuddling the knickers!! GrinGrinGrin

Oh no Becca, you've created a monster! Grin

AMillionNameChangesLater · 04/09/2014 21:42

That's adorable!

We have Henry's booking for 16 Sept, but we're away, so will prob be 22 or 23rd.

Naturegirl82 · 04/09/2014 21:51

I'd not heard of one at 6 months. I think we just have a 9 month one here.

becca that's so funny! Whatever works though!

So despite my bad chest I played netball for the first time in 18 months today. Was hard but felt good to be playing again.

TobyLerone · 04/09/2014 22:04

We haven't seen anyone for any sort of official check-up since 6 weeks IIRC. I've never cared about anything less :o

TobyLerone · 04/09/2014 22:04

LOL at the knicker-cuddling.

alteredimages · 04/09/2014 22:19

Knicker cuddling Grin.

I had a muslin nappy I loved. Mum eventually had to intervene just before I turned ten. Blush

AMillionNameChangesLater · 05/09/2014 10:56

Henry was weighed yesterday, he's about 17lb, which means he's now getting towards the 25th Centile (if not on it) and they seem pleased

We won't be getting him weighed again any time soon, too stressful!
