Grin
Passmethecrisps · 10/08/2014 21:46

Hmm. Wonder what lily's up to now? Grin

Blinking little miss is still up! No idea what the story is but she is not for settling. We are currently watching the most dull tv possible to persuade her that nothing fun is happening.

Could do with going to bed myself . . .

BigPigLittlePig · 10/08/2014 22:09

O lordy pass, similar shenanigans here earlier. Somehow, F got poo (aka bum??) on her cot bumper (yes, I know she's a bit old but....) so tonight, every little twist and turn, she clobbers a limb or head into the wood of her cot and wakes up and lets us know. And god forbid we should put the landing light on to guide us to her, as that is met wih hysterical shrieks of "niiiiiiight niiiiiiiight NIIIIIIIIIGHT".

Anyway. She's asleep, for now. Pussypig is keeping her company. And bumper is in the wash.

Have just spent hours parcelling up ebay sells, with a lovely glass of red wineWine

Here's to another week, quiche xx

Passmethecrisps · 10/08/2014 22:18

Still up! Currently parading around with a bag stuffing things in it.

Glad pussy pig is helping with the snoozing

ValiumQueen · 10/08/2014 22:23

Well done BP with your ebaying. I am listing lots of stuff on local FB pages. Sold J's cot, travel cot going tomorrow, and have lots of toy prams, pushchairs, cots, desks etc to list tomorrow. And clothes. Lots of clothes. I am getting itchy feet so want to de-clutter.

ValiumQueen · 10/08/2014 22:24

Go to BED miss P!

Passmethecrisps · 10/08/2014 22:34

Grin damned near it! She has just gone to bed because we all did. She was not happy about it and is still mumping. She will be woken at 7am at the latest tomorrow regardless to that should make everyone's day fabulous!

Passmethecrisps · 10/08/2014 22:37

And I am impressed with all the eBay selling! I have sold one or two things and bought one or two but never got into it in a big way. Good work, ladies!

StuntNun · 10/08/2014 22:40

I hope all the littlies are in bed now. J isn't well so he crashed out early and I got to do some exercise.

Wanda there's a FB group called Slow Cooked Wonders with lots of recipes and advice. I've requested for you to be added to it but an admin will have to approve first.

F is in my bed. She is unimpresssed with her bumper-less bed so has surrendered it to the cat. Dh has been relegated to spare room. Was hankering after a wee sleepover with my girl - especially as dh got one the other week when I was on nights Smile

We have been on a decluttering mission, vq. it has been fab. So far profit stands at £60ish, which isn't too bad really. One mans junk etc. And thebest bit of all is that I can actually find stuff and get into cupboards

izzybizzybuzzybees · 10/08/2014 23:22

Just had a labelling marathon for dd starting school on Tues. Could only find one of her shoes... Instant panic and visions of me traipsing round everywhere trying to find a new pair the day before school starts. Panic over... Found it in her room where she must have taken it to try on!

Dh off this week which will be lovely. I think he's talking about going for breakfast somewhere while dd and ds at school and nursery on Wednesday!

BigPigLittlePig · 11/08/2014 02:44

Ooh nice Izzy.

Sleepover failed when F vommed in my bed Envy

ValiumQueen · 11/08/2014 05:53

Oh dear BP. I have been up since 4 if it is any consolation. No vom though. Yet.

Pikz · 11/08/2014 07:29

Brew To all

GTbaby · 11/08/2014 07:45

((Vq BP ))

Izzy will be nice to spend some one on one time with dh.
Fh wants to go to Canterbury next week. Not sure how much of a break it will be with the boys, at least it's a get away.

Any tips of foot wear for A? He is 10 months. Not walking/ coasting But feel he needs something for nursery for when they go outside and he used the walker.
Thinking slippers but finding it hard to find any.

Passmethecrisps · 11/08/2014 08:23

What about those little soft leather ones gt? I can't remember what brand the pairs we had were.

P went to sleep about 10:30 and I woke her at 7. She was not and still is not a very happy bunny. She has insisted on her dummy so far but I am about to take her to soft play so that should distract her.

Poor wee pig being sick (and you for it being in your bed).

Did you ever get back to bed vq?

Passmethecrisps · 11/08/2014 08:26

[[http://www.star-child.co.uk/babyshoes/boys_0-2_yrs/autumn_winter these]] were the brand we were given. I think you can get them very much cheaper from supermarkets though. Same thing really. Also, I got p some decent slippers with a solid sole in sainsbury's recently.

Passmethecrisps · 11/08/2014 08:27

Oh, weird link fail.

Elizadoesdolittle · 11/08/2014 08:57

Sorry to hear of vom bplp. E vommed night before last but in her bed at least.

I had been giving E cows milk in her cereal to see if she had gotten over her intolerance. It's safe to say she hasn't. Vom and pooh everywhere yesterday. She seemed ok in her self though. just a bit warn out. Seems fine this morning so I won't be doing that again in a hurry.

On a positive she has gone to bed fine for the past couple of nights so hopefully she has returned to her normal ways. until the next thing comes up!

DD1 is at a disney dance thing today (not my sort of thing but she'll love it). I don't stay anyway, drop her off at 10am and pick her up at 2:30pm so have most of the day just me and E. Quiet one in store I think.

Wandathewindfairy · 11/08/2014 09:25

Yawn. Big lazy hugs to all of you in the vom, no sleeping, poo club. Brew and chocolate.

I need to get back into routine today. Currently the crazy brothers are screaming and generally causing havoc in the playroom, while I try to do my weeks menu planning and shopping list at the same time as getting the kitchen back to Normal.

The isolated mum person is coming to see me this afternoon so I have till 3:30 to create an impression of organisation!

Thanks for adding me stunt looks great! loads of ideas I will defo be using that. Starting with this weekend.

PetiteRaleuse · 11/08/2014 09:38

After going to the pool twice with the girls this weekend I have been to the Dr this morning, got a medical certificate and signed up to their gym and pool for 3 months.

Was going to sign up for a year but last time I did that I broke my back riding three weeks into the contract and couldn't get reimbursed for the gym part which caused a bit of a fall out. So being a bit more careful this time. And they've changed hands so have forgotten my rantiness. If I manage to do three months without harming myself and if I enjoy it then I will sign up for a year after that Grin I have been meaning to do it for ages but wasn't allowed while on sick leave and then kind of forgot with all my on-off shredding.

The shred has helped with fitness and I am at my ideal weight but I can't do the sit ups, and tbh I'm working and studying from home so I need to get out and about more. It's only up the road - too far to walk lazy - but close enough so I easily fit in a lunchtime session.

I'd love a slow cooker. More than a bread maker. Despite my baker having fucked off on holiday. I have so much braising and casseroleable beef in my freezer it would almost e silly not to get a slow cooker. Right?

GTbaby · 11/08/2014 14:43

I'm so tiered. Can't keep my eyes open. H is asleep. Right on que A wakes up. WHYYYYYYYYYY oh why can they not nap together Confused even a bit of an over lap.
Just going to get worse this week as it's all go on prep for weekend.
Today's task washing all the dish towels which is 2 loads. Also ironing all our clothes. (We cook for all guests over the three days. 3 meals a day.) tomorrow is cleaning. Wednesday is buying food and starting prep. Thursday is setting up.

You will hear lots of complaining from me.

Wandathewindfairy · 11/08/2014 17:07

What is it for gt? Sounds like a marathon.

Tarte au Flambé mark two using leftiver pastry from yesterday's chicken and ham pie as well as left over ham going down a storm. It looks like Wandas variations on a tarte au flambé could become a family fave. We have silence only usually enjoyed at pudding/cake time!

YellowWellies · 11/08/2014 17:11

Recipe please Wanda!

PetiteRaleuse · 11/08/2014 18:07

Ooh tarte flambée is one of my local specialities. Served up as a starter often or aperitif. I prefer as a main with salad at lunch.
