J had his last bottle of Neocate tonight so we're on to Koko tomorrow. Sad He always liked the Neocate but he doesn't seem as keen on Koko and it often makes him sick, I think because it's so thin so it refluxes back up very easily.

Why is he not Continuing with the neonate?

Report
StuntNun · 04/08/2014 20:44

The dietitian said he didn't need to have it as he's over a year old and to switch him to Koko.

Stunt how about getting that thickening stuff? Or gaviscon? Cannot remember what the stuff is called - carob or something I think. Preferable to gaviscon as it doesn't cause constipation in the same way. I only give J a very small about at night now. He took a long time to like the Koko, but he does now.

I am pooped, so off to bed for me.

Came home from a hellish night (up for 26hrs and counting Envy ) to find a distraught F in the bath, a frazzled dh desperately trying to remove dried vomit from her hair, and a bed full of said vomit. The worst thing though by far....is that bedtime bear took a direct hit. F is not happy. Bear is in the machine. Bear is unlikely to be ready for bed tonight Confused

When are they supposed to get their big molars? F is chewing everything possible, plus the vom, plus runny nose. Darent stick a finger in though as would likely lose a chunk.

J is teething too BigPig. They're supposed to get the back teeth around two but I suspect they take a long time moving up through the gum before they erupt.

Oh no BP! How is F in herself? Here Puffin has been in the washing machine twice in the last 48 hours due to O's sickness, but the tumble dryer did a great job of ensuring he was there for bedtime both nights. I think big molars are due around their second birthday, which really could mean anytime now for the quiche.

O has gone to nursery today, we are 28 hours since our last vomiting incident, fingers crossed it's now passed.

I think L is too, he doesn't have canines yet. That's right isn't it? The fangy ones. Lots of drool and finger chewing. And biting his dear mother Hmm

Tis quiet on the thread at the moment.

She was ok in herself, pale, and a bit clingy - but ok. But chewing her hands all he time. Off to get her from nursery now.

MsJ when H got his fangs in they were the worst. Did t eat was in a terrible mood.
I thought his current bout of poopy ness and vom might be teething but he hasn't been drooly or chomping on anything. Looking forward to teething being over. Just one less thing to blame his ailments on.

Hi quiche. Nursery went back today and my house is clean, my legs are waxed, my shopping is done, have decluttered the toyboxes, sorted out my bookshelves and managed to visit a friend who just had a baby, popped up my cv on the unemployment website (have to) and did a surprisingly good experimental curry.

Tomorrow I am reorganising my filing and paperwork, starting the long list of stuff DD1 needs for school (we don't have to buy uniform but we do have to buy all other school supplies) and filling out an application form for a selective training course And going through my kitchen cupboards.

I enjoyed the time with the kids, especially the extra one on one time with LO, but am glad to be able to get things moving again. They were so excited to go back to nursery, and LO showed off her new potty skills.

Due to her being ill on week two, plus all the outings we have done, potty training is incomplete. She rips off her nappy to go, uses the potty or loo, but we're not ready to switch over to pants yet. Am chatting with nursery again about it this week, but am really proud of how she has done, despite difficult circumstances.

Will update the rest on fb when I have a mo.

Sorry to hear about vom and teething. LO had the squits on week two of her holiday which was explosive, and a change from the usual constipation. They also both got worms so that has been treated.

Other big news is that DD1 loves her giant big bed and its memory foam mattress that I am so jealous of, so co-sleeping is officially over now, and has been for two weeks and a bit, except early morning when she dives in for snuggles. Which I much prefer.
