We've got real separation anxiety at the mo too. He gets incredibly tightly bonded to whoever he's been with all day and doesn't want the other. Its alternately heartbreaking and lovely but wearing!

Just...ditto.

F woke from her nap and sat bolt upright and shouted "daddeeeee?" - can you tell who's been putting her to bed this week!

Have just listed what feels like most of my possessions on ebay Confused

Thank you for being the same!

We had a family nap this afternoon and p woke me by sleep talking. She said " ah! Meow!" Made me giggle.

I can't shower or wee alone at the moment and she is catching up on us comprehension wise. Our upstairs telly does iPlayer and normal channels but downstairs telly does 5 on demand and amazon meaning peppa and Ben and Holly. DH this morning said "do you want to come downstairs for peppa and cheese!" P said "yes!" Until she realised I wasn't coming then it was "I no like peppa! Noooooooo!"

Still, she is sleeping soundly now and let's hope they all are.

Night night

Been up with wee man since 12.30. He slept both nights for Daddy. I guess he missed me, but I think it is teeth with him too.
Pass, that sounds like teeth, including the nappy rash. Perhaps a couple of doses of calpol? Not at once, obviously.

I am shattered.

It was the same here yesterday too. Actually the past 2,5 weeks. She also awakes too early, having said that she is still quiet today and it's already 6 o'clock. My back is killing me as she insists on me carrying her, I can't put her down. And everything is dirty now, the sand, the water, everything. Huge tears all the time.

J burst into our bedroom this morning at 5:47 with a cry of 'Mama!' Simultaneously annoyed at being woken up early and delighted that he's finally learned to say mama.

Oh and we had 'bottle' this morning as well so if he keeps saying them then we're up to four words. Grin

Ugh, the vom returned last night. I don't get it at all. She's been having stretches of 24 hours where she is back to normal and seems over it, then it reappears. Last night she woke us up coughing at 3am and she'd been sick in her cot over 24 hours since the last time (fright of our lives as it was bright red until I remembered she'd had pasta and tomato sauce for tea!)

Seems ok today but who knows Confused

Stunt I love how these tiny people can produce such conflicting feelings in us with their actions!

Chasing we need details! On your FB status! Here or FB pls.

Lily keep me in the loop on your London visit as I'm hoping to catch you this time.

H has been exhausting. I keep thinking he is feeling better but then he gets very tiered and just lays down.

A woke at 3.30. Took until 5 to get him to sleep Hmm at least he slept until 7.30.
Meant to be at a wedding today but decided against it as didn't fancy dealing with poo explosions and dirty clothes while out.

Hope H is feeling better and you get a good night GT

No more vom here today but O totally refused her milk before bed for the first time ever. Wondering if this is connected to her being ill or if she's giving it up altogether? How many other little ones don't have bedtime milk now?

Curious as to what Chasing's FB status says?!

Report
Zamboni · 03/08/2014 19:14

MissL S only has bedtime milk if he asks and/or I remember. Same as DD.

Pass, Lily, I am having the same issues with O at the moment. Separation anxiety, clingy, whingy, trouble sleeping... I'm putting it down to a leap as he is coming on in leaps and bounds at the moment.

Oh yeah, and I have a boyfriend Smile I hadn't mentioned anything as I didn't want to jinx it, but we've been dating for a few weeks now and it's going well Smile

Woot to boyf action chasing! So chuffed.

How horrible that the sickness has come back miss. I really hope she is back to full speed soon.

Have a fabulous time lily. I look forward to hearing updates as and when you can.

P was on MUCH better today. It says a fair amount that she full on tumbled down the stairs for the first ever time today and she cried less and for a shorter time than yesterday when I accidentally put on Ben and Holly when she asked rather than peppa which is what she actually meant.

She is still pretty clingy and terribly mummy-centric but on much better form. How about E eliza?

It was very reassuring to read that so many others are having the same issues - I hope it all passes very soon.

Elizadoesdolittle · 03/08/2014 21:48

E has been much better today. But we have had lots of people and kids over so it's not been a normal day. There were lots of distractions for her. I had great fun and seemed everyone that came did. I'm absolutely shattered now again. Definitely going to have a quiet day tomorrow.

I want to relax on the sofa but there is a bloody mozzie buzzing round me. Arghhhhhhh.

misslaughalot · 04/08/2014 10:22

Sigh, vom is back this morning, just over 24 hours since the last time. I've got her a Dr appt for this afternoon. Not sure what can be done, she seems fine in herself, just keeps chucking up her food every 24 hours.
Also accompanied by activity from the other end. So much so that I've abandoned our beloved cloth nappies and she's in disposables. We're definitely having a 'chuck it' day!

On and we we also have the word 'mine'...Hmm

Ooh, thought I was thread-killer for a while today!

So O has gastroenteritis. You'd have no idea as she seems so fine in the day. Just have to make sure she drinks plenty of water. Doc reckons it should be over in the next couple of days so fingers crossed.

Bloody hell, tumbleweed central!

Todays word is bawbries (strawberries) - after every single bite of said delicacy. Ditto nam (ham). My brother has come to stay for a few days and F is over the moon!

Hope the poorly babies are on the mend soon.

Also hope Wanda and her girls are having the best time.

Off to work in a bit Sad
