Embarrassingly puggle, I did this myself with a bit of chicken a few weeks back. I can't remember why but I had to gag a bit to spit it out.
I do think it is normal for them to bite off bits before they can move food round their mouth easily, I know N does this. In the end he either swallows it or spits it out. He seems to find bread and veg harder to manage than chicken and meat.
becca that routine looks great. We are going to our flat tomorrow now ramadan is over (Eid mubarak everyone!) so I will nick it for settling N into a better schedule.
Re: previous furniture discussion, we went to ikea and spent £1000. Oops. We did get everything though, including mattresses and a lot of plastic tubs and toys! DD washed her new soft toy dog in the washing machine by herself. Unfortunately she put it in with N's dirty terry nappies and filled the detergent drawer to the top. I spent a whole day rerunning the rinse cycle to get rid of all the suds, but thankfully both dog and washing machine emerged unscathed.
getting I thought the same as toby. What's the point of messy play if they can't get stuck in?
No teeth here yet at almost 7 months, but N started crawling yesterday! He has been moving forwards for a week or so but got the coordination between hands and legs sorted yesterday. He is so much more active than DD was, I can't sit with him on my knee without him climbing over my shoulder or wriggling off my lap. Trouble looming, methinks!
