Oh lord this new layout is awful :(
It's really straining my eyes
Hope Dexter and DS1 are ok
DH out tonight and LO never goes down when I'm in on my own. Me time just doesn't happen Angry.
Instead we've had a tantrum over getting out the bath, another over nappy, then refused bed did a poo and had yet another tantrum over nappy change :(

MsBug · 22/08/2014 07:42

Me too meringue so I have changed to the desktop site on my tablet. I can't do that on my phone though cos the text is too small.

Dd wasin in such a grump last night, screamed because she was hungry, then screamed because there were green bits in her dinner, then screamed when I put her in the bath, etc etc.

OohQuack · 22/08/2014 20:32

Ugh hes clearly not into naps at the min, hes had 15mins today, 30 mins on average, i miss my two hour break. I like the sound of the 3.99 photo album, may pick one up next month. Im looking at getting a wooden playhouse for xmas/bday, the one i was looking at was made from pallets for about 60 tis very cute, i decided against the plastic ones because they fade so quick and most cost a fortune

I've had This Is The Bear, The Little Red Train, Dougal the Digger and The Gingerbread Man brought to me to read about fifty times each in the last two or three days. Its getting boring now.

Dan tantrummed at the park yesterday because I wouldn't allow him to get his head kicked in by standing too close to the swings Hmm. He did the whole going stiff and dropping and screaming when i picked him up, then he went quiet, got down carefully on his knees, then prostrated himself on the ground, got comfortable and continued the rage where he left off Grin

Christmas can sod off til after DS1's birthday in a couple of weeks. DS1 is now on antibiotics, antivirals, hydrocortisone, emollient and strong antihistamine to battle the allergic reaction which has turned into infected eczema. He's still waking 5-6 times a night. I'm exhausted like newborn days again.

LetThereBeCupcakes · 22/08/2014 20:56

Oh Jun Sad - do you have any idea what might have caused this? Must be very stressful for you all.

DS has turned into a biter. He got sent home with an "incident form" from nursery last week because he bit another child. Nursery have very kindly offered to prove information on "biters", which has just made me feel worse because it makes it sounds like it's not just a one-off.

Has anybody moved onto proper bedding yet? DS has now cracked zips and undoes his sleeping bag, which then twists around him and he gets annoyed. I think we might be needing to get proper bedding. What do I get? A Cotbed Duvet? What tog?

DS is 19 months old today. Pic attached.

Oh juniper that sounds hard poor ds1. Lol at dan getting comfy for hist tantrum. Ivy is a thrower so has to be disarmed when she starts to get tantrummy. Seems to be a lot more of them recently Hmm

Argh christmas Shock am starting to get bits but have a lot of birthdays too. Dd1 was 6 yesterday and ds1 will be 11 in just over a month. Ivy is hard to get things for as she has access to all the toys the others had.

cupcakes aw what a cutie, they're all starting to look like children not babies. Ivy is starting to fight the sleeping bag but I'm hoping I can keep her in them til next year then I have a toddler bed and toddler duvet etc for her. You can get toddler duvet sets in argos or even a toddler duvet on asda which are cotbed size, otherwise I would use cotbed sheets.

Hope everyone else ok.

Dc back to school soon but now I'm worrying about attending secondary school open evenings. Not even sure its worth it as we are in catchment for a good secondary and ds1 wants to go there...just feel I should be doing more

AppleCrumples · 22/08/2014 21:48

My little monkey

lollipoppi · 23/08/2014 09:19

My layout hasn't changed on my phone, it's the same as it's always been, but I'm on the app if that makes any difference?

Juniper, poor ds1, and poor you, must be tough I hope it clears up soon

I've bought Darcie's 1st Xmas prezzie, a Jessie doll as she loves ds1 toy story toys.
I've also got ds1 birthday in a couple of weeks

Il log on through the iPad to look at the pictures

lollipoppi · 23/08/2014 09:20

Ps, after 6 weeks, we finally have solid poo GrinGrin

JuniperTisane · 23/08/2014 11:08

Solid poo yay!

is fine apart from his skin. He's gone off quite happily to arugby again this morning so we shall see if anything there sets him off again.

Beautiful picture Apples

Got a family party this afternoon, Tractorfest tomorrow and racing on Monday. Going to be shattered by Tuesday...

JuniperTisane · 23/08/2014 11:12

And Minicupxakes too! I must get a good one this afternoon

meringue33 · 24/08/2014 21:40

Beautiful pictures.

Hope everyone is enjoying the BH.

LO has started taking an interest in his clothes, deciding which ones are his favourite and trying to dress himself, with hilarious results.

JuniperTisane · 24/08/2014 21:41

Oi Love Moi Tractorrrr!

Hi all, sorry I haven't been around for a while. We were having some family time as my mum does have cancer Sad. We had a great week actually, I took a bit of extra time off work (already had most of the week booked) and me and DD and mum went down to Dorset for a few days for a mini holiday. E loved the seaside (mostly knocking down the sandcastles we built and chasing seagulls).

Lovely pictures! I'll try to add one in a bit, was going to now but E has just woken up...

glorious · 25/08/2014 22:21

Here's a nice pic. It's a bit old (6 weeks or more) but it's a nice one and I don't have many on the computer as opposed to on my phone...

Lostbobbles · 26/08/2014 07:28

Hello All

Hope you and the little people are all well.

Been missing in action for ages so lots to catch up on, will have good read later.

Glorious I just saw your message, such devastating news. Sending best wishes to her and you. Is she going to have treatment?

I had a lovely time in Cyprus with my mother. Kids loved it but the time went so fast. Was sad to leave. Been in bit of a whirlwind since I returned, house is on the market so most days are spent cleaning and tidying like a loon!! poor kids are frightened to get anything out BlushBlush

Lo is growing up so quickly it's bit sad, latest is scooting on scooter, she's so funny and can actually lift her leg and push to go along a little way!

She's a little madam though, terrorises my oldest, pulling hair snatching ...... And when she doesn't get what she wants ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

Will get on PC and upload pic later

Oldest birthday on Thursday, so party prep this week joy

Have a good day all

JuniperTisane · 26/08/2014 07:59

Sad how awful for your mum Glorious. Glad you managed to get away for a break with her. E looks so much more grown up since we met in January. Maybe we should try for another sometime soon?

Lost Dan has stood on DS1's scooter and pushes it while walking beside it but hasn't managed to coordinate anything yet. DS1 got a scooter from mum for his 2nd birthday, think I will dig that one out of the shed for his birthday or christmas present. He's never seen it so no problems with it not seeming new. Fingers crossed you manage to sell soon.

Angielka · 27/08/2014 18:55

So sorry to hear your news glorious. DD1 was 8 weeks old when my mum was diagnosed with leukaemia. I wish you lots of strength and positive thoughts Flowers

MsBug · 27/08/2014 19:04

So sorry about your mum's news glorious. What's the prognosis?

we're camping in the rain but on the plus side we're taking dd to longleat safari park tomorrow and I am drinking beer

JuniperTisane · 27/08/2014 22:44

I like Longleat. Ds1 loved it when he was just 2. Especially the boat ride and the little train. The little adventure area for littlies is great fun.

OohQuack · 27/08/2014 23:20

Im sorry glorious how sad. I hope she has a positive outcome though.

Longleat was great, dd loved the sea lions and the meerkats and the penguins. The best thing is we have two day tickets so off again tomorrow. Camping again tonight, we've drunk all the beer but still have Wine

AppleCrumples · 29/08/2014 21:26

Oh glorious I'm sorry to read your news Flowers

mrsbug hope you're enjoying camping. Longleat sounds by good.

We took dcs to Drayton Manor yesterday. They enjoyed it but Ivy and long queues don't mix. She had a total meltdown in one and lay down as she was tired then refused to go to sleep in the pushchair!
