Well done on the potty training tugs. We didn't take a potty on holiday because dd was refusing to use it, but for the last few days she has been asking to use it so we'll have another try when we get home

Longleat was great. DD had a tantrum because I wouldn't let her get out of the car in the tiger enclosure. She wanted to give the tiger a cuddle Sad

We're currently stuck in traffic on the way home so I have created a new thread here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2437633-January-2013-my-do-it-on-my-own

HI all! Glorious sorry you're feeling so rubbish still :( hope you get some answers and feel better v soon.

Have a lovely holiday Snozz!

Think we've cracked potty training. Still the odd accident but reckon we're there. Not at night obviously but v pleased to only be changing the one nappy most of the time now.

DD2 rolled over yesterday!

Hope everyone's ok. This thread is nearly full...

Snozz we're only about half an hour from longleat. It's fab, isn't it?

Lost you all for a while!

We're on holidays and are at longleat safari park today. DD has been having a lovely time (and loved the boat trip with the sea lions and hippos).

She's just having a nap in the back of the car so we're sitting waiting to do the safari bit.

Hope everyone is ok!

Oh Glorious how rotten for you. I hope you have lots of friends and family looking after you.

The boat ride was quite funny actually, but me and mum laughing at him didn't do anything to improve his mood!

Apple how are you enjoying the school holidays? Grin

Boat ride sounds hilarious in retrospect Grin

No, I have more tests next week. Feel rubbish today.

Hi Salt!

Apple Hope the last day of school isn't too emotional for you! I can't imagine DS even starting primary school never mind leaving it!

glorious do they have any idea what's going on with you yet?

We went to visit my aunt on Saturday which involved DS' first boatride (foot ferry between Gosport and Soutsea). He spent the entire 2 minute ride shouting "Want to get off! Don't like it! Hold my kneeeeeees!", but since then has been talking about the boat ride non-stop. "Went on a BOAT! Big boat! Again? Do it AGAIN? NOW!?!" Hmm

That was really kind of them. I'm glad you got to see it a bit.

Hi salt, good to hear from you.

Hi salt good to hear from you x

Glorious I managed to watch most of the play. We exited when she started up after 20 min so we didn't ruin it for everyone else and the head came out and found some building blocks and pencils and paper and we moved to an outside space behind the hall. School secretary played with ivy whilst I watched the show through an open fire exit! Was a pain then I got upset when I realised next time I do this she will be in nursery. Wish they would all just slow down. I'm sure I'm not old enough to have a child at secondary school! Grin

They don't actually finish til Tuesday so am sure I will cry then too.

Ok thanks, still v tired (spending loads of time in bed and napping, which isn't like me at all!). Definitely not pregnant btw, they did check.

Apples that must be so strange, it's a shame you couldn't just focus on the show but I guess maybe the distraction helped with the crying! Flowers

Ah apples! Hope you're ok, I'd be the same if my eldest was leaving Flowers

How are you today glorious?

Ds1 leavers show today. Ivy was fed up and causing trouble 20 mins in and it went on for 2 hours! Had to watch from outside so Ivy could draw and build with the bits the teachers gave her Blush Made it through without crying (just) then fell apart all over one of the year 2 mum's Blush

Glorious hope you're feeling better and they can get to the bottom of it all.

Will catch up later, a little bit over emotional :(

No idea. I still feel wrong and have no appetite so I'll see if it improves and go to the GP again if it drags on. Perhaps it's linked to the heart stuff.

Oh glorious, that sounds awful. How are you today? Hope you're all better. What did the doctors say the vomiting was all about?

jun I'm with you on looking forward to the start of preschool! DD1 is testing my patience to the max at the mo.

Thanks I will do. Those pills are great though! Couldn't sleep but still don't feel sick. Hopefully it's gone.

Oh no glorious - you poor thing! Take it easy. Flowers

Jun DS likes to hide, too. Sometimes I forget to find him and he falls asleep. Blush

Final potty training hurdle jumped yesterday - DS is now asking to go at nursery. Hurrah. Now to get him back on track with his sleep.

Sad Glorious you are going through it right now aren't you? Take it easy if you can.

Toilet training is non-existent again after a few wees on the toilet he is now totally uninterested in doing anything except running far far away. In fact he has decided that hiding is his favourite thing to do and everything is preceded by hauling him out from under the bed/behind the door/under the table/in the cupboard under the stairs where I have almost threatened to shut him in if he doesn't come out NOW

I'd say that we are fully immersed in terrible twos right now. He is testing every single thing. I can't wait til he starts preschool in september.

Well done cupcakes and tugs' DD.

I was ok until this evening when I started throwing up Sad Feeling v sorry for myself. Lovely out of hours GP has given me an anti emetic which has made me feel well enough to type for a bit. It's not fair, I thought I was better but I have been in bed until lunch yesterday and sitting downstairs on work emails today.

Well done cupcakes, how are you feeling? Have you thought any more about having DC2?

How are you glorious? Hope you had a relaxing weekend.

DD is doing well on the potty front - did a poo yesterday! I was so proud I took a photo and sent it to DP who was away Grin Just need to get the guts to go nappy free when we go out for the day now. So far it's just been nappy-free at home.

How are you feeling now Glorious? Hope you're still taking it easy.

We took DS to a Teddy Bear's Picnic on a local Steam Railway yesterday - he absolutely loved it! Really good day out, loads for children to do. He spent all evening playing with his Brio (new train bought by grandad yesterday!) and yelling ALL ABOARD!!!

I think I've manged to wean myself off of my ADs at last. Feeling a little bit of withdrawal today but not too bad. Fingers crossed I can keep it up!

Welcome home glorious

DS keeps banging on about "getting a baby. A GREEN one mummy". Hmm

Tugs DS was like that. Every single accident he's had has been litterally seconds after I've asked him if he needs the potty and he's refused.

Snozz Can't believe how quickly the scan's coming around. Hope you get to find out the gender.
