*longies. my post makes even less sense than usual with that autocorrect Hmm

MsJupiter · 17/05/2014 23:09

I guessed what you meant! Maybe I should have taken something off but I didn't want to disturb him further.

YellowWellies · 17/05/2014 23:13

I know I know we should go. Just having recent experience of a family member having chemo, or a very young prem I'm not wanting to be that selfish bugger who puts their boredom first and ends up hurting people. Sad

GTbaby · 17/05/2014 23:18

Fh has just said to me "let's calm down, we have both had a drink" at which point I wanted to punch him in the face. I've had 1/3 of a breezer. And he wants to blame my drinking for an argument? Angry

TheDetective · 17/05/2014 23:24

Flouncy We watch online. DP streams it through laptop, and we plug it in to the TV. I don't know how. Or ask questions Grin. We also watched the last episode of season 10 last night....!

BP I am getting bored of naps now Blush. They really ruin my day! Everything seems to be planned around fecking nap time. Hmm

I guess if he had an hour it would be less of a problem. But he likes his 3 hours.

O managed to pull a piece of furniture down today. A wooden floor to (almost) ceiling DVD tower. Just brilliant. Luckily for everyone, the antilop took the fall. O was terrified. It hasn't stopped him pulling DVD's off the shelf like I hoped though Hmm. Now we need to find a way of securing it to the wall - I'm not even sure it can be. Which is great.

He did get a shower of 150 DVD's on him though... Hmm.

I'm so tired. So I'm sat here on the laptop. Makes sense...

Loving the weather :) Hope everyone gets to enjoy some tomorrow! I've fallen lucky, and finished nights yesterday morning, and not back on them til monday night. So I can get a little sunshine! :)

ValiumQueen · 18/05/2014 01:08

Up with DD1 tonight. The joys of having three Grin

I understand YW. I guess it depends how spotty he is in the morning. It is the ooze that is the contagious bit. I have been thinking a lot about you today. Such strange presentation.

Wandathewindfairy · 18/05/2014 07:22

I get that yw DM contracted cp when she had had chicken pox and the consequences were horrific. And she didn't contract it from a family member/ close contact either she picked it up just going into a school.

pr yes it is for you! I popped a post up ages ago to see who wanted it and you out your hand up and no one else did so PM me your address and I will send it over. Smile

bp I am dying to see what your DH comes up with next!

We had burgers last night which is a rarity, I made a red onion and chilli pickle to go on which was really yummy. Couple of glasses of red and a. Early night for mummy. Lovely.

Wandathewindfairy · 18/05/2014 07:23

Is going to be a grey grey week for us. Sad

YellowWellies · 18/05/2014 08:01

That's just it the 50 odd spots he had two nights ago have gone. So no crusty weepiness. I'm just worrying that he's at the most contagious stage i.e. just before the spots appear? Confused Hmm

PetiteRaleuse · 18/05/2014 08:19

Ooh thanks. Shall do. Unless no-one with UK postage wants it?

StuntNun · 18/05/2014 09:00

J had another bad night last night. Sad He had a sausage sandwich for lunch out so it's possible the sausages had egg in I suppose. But DH 'forgot' to give him his Omeprazole yesterday morning. Would missing one dose make for a bad night?

Pikz · 18/05/2014 09:08

< waves from the laundrette >

YellowWellies · 18/05/2014 09:30

Stunt yes missing one dose causes an acid spike. One missed dose = shit night here. When DH is aged and frail do make sure you kindly miss some of his meds Envy

ChasingDaisy · 18/05/2014 10:08

YW the spot situations sounds so confusing! Confused

Hope everyone has some sun today and they get to enjoy it. I had a brilliant night last night. Got in at 2am and have already been out for a run this morning (fastest time ever. Yay) Then off out with JFG this afternoon.

Wandathewindfairy · 18/05/2014 11:10

pikzdo you get to just sit and read a book while the wash whirls around?

chasing your weekends sound fab! you really make the most of them.

Wandathewindfairy · 18/05/2014 11:11

..... If so laundrettes could be the way forwArd. ........Grin

StuntNun · 18/05/2014 13:02

Nice thought YW but he's younger than me. I'd better be on my best behaviour.

StuntNun · 18/05/2014 15:20

Aargh J will not stop whinging and screaming. He's completely ruined Sunday dinner for everyone else then ended up being put into his cot so the rest of us could finish eating.

I managed to completely lock myself out of mumsnet but thankfully they sorted it out and I'm back in action. Need to catch up though, feeling rather tired.

ChasingDaisy · 18/05/2014 15:50

Thanks Wanda Smile I have started to make the most of them. I used to wallow and feel sorry for myself, but I'm slowly slowly building a social life.

Wandathewindfairy · 18/05/2014 15:56

Was it delicious roast pork and crackling?

PurplePidjin · 18/05/2014 16:13

so quiet today i had to do rl stuff in nap time Shock Shock Shock

been to lidl. acquired wine, chocolate, pizza and bbq ribs alongside the dull stuff Grin and burned off the calories lugging it home with r on my back Grin

Wandathewindfairy · 18/05/2014 16:20

That sounds like a lush tea pp

PetiteRaleuse · 18/05/2014 16:29

Two days of bbq weather and I am a headachy hay feverish heat rashed wreck Hmm

Had a nice day though. Bbq at friend's and a walk in the pollen infested countryside. The girls were brilliantly behaved I was really proud.

LO has to go to paed tomorrow or Tuesday as her post mmr eczema has spread all over her body.

PurplePidjin · 18/05/2014 16:41

I've stewed some pears and blackberries to blend with coconut milk to make ice lollies so might do ribs and coconut rice and the sweet potato leftover from r's tea Grin
