Good to hear that Pass Smile and yes, I thought that as I wrote it.

As our day started at 5, we have already watched a film, made Easter eggs, played with Hama Beads and aqua beads, playmobil and the craft box. We are now going to decorate the eggs. J has watched most of these activities whilst playing with cooking utensils and singing.

I said to DH he could do as he pleased for 1 hour, hoping it would lift his mood, so he watched a horror film, and 1.5 hours later was still watching it. He then got quite stroppy, so I will not be doing that again.

Follow your instinct Wanda. Remember, if you are worried, get him seen. Monitor the rash, his wee, and an ice lolly might go down well.

I will need to re-read that Stunt when I have my brain engaged Wink

Wanda how has the toast gone down.

H has woken snotty nosed and moody. Fh has taken pushchair to work. So a nice day at home I think.

Toast seems to have stayed down, I have out him down for a sleep and he has gone straight off. So I will do DS1s play date, then get him up and see how he goes.

I'd maybe stick to a plain lunch and sips of water when he wakes?
Hopefully just a upset tummy that's ok now.

Last night we had 50 spots. He's woken up with none. WTAF? Hmm

YW wtf indeed!

YW it isn't chicken pox. When you said he was happy with the spots I doubted it, but now I am sure it is not the pox. How is he?

Poorly boy here too. Really rasping breathing and cough + temp but seems happy enough (if a bit fragile and quick to tears) and Calpol is helping. He had bright red arms and cheeks earlier but they've gone down. Small appetite but still eating.

My sister said her nursery have had letters about scarlet fever going round so am keeping an eye on him in case a rash develops. Could this apply to any other quichelings?

I've made jellies as it seemed like a motherly thing to do Blush and if he isn't eating much they might slip down easily.

JJ Hmm poor wee thing.

So much poorliness in the quiche at the moment Sad O is incredibly snotty but I think it is just teeth as his incisors are all coming through. At once. The bastards.

My planned post seems rather insensitive now, but I will just say that at this moment, I am feeling the happiest I can ever remember feeling BlushSmile

ChasingDaisy · 17/05/2014 16:31

Ha! It's only partly dating related! I had an excellent run in the sun today nearly died, but still had a nice lunch date with a lovely young man, am off to see McBusted tonight with a very dear friend and have a lovely day planned tomorrow also. Everything just feels good. And O is having a blast with his cousins, so all is good in chasingland today Smile

Did he enjoy the jellies jj? My mum used to make my sister 'boiled egg chopped up in a cup' when she was poorly. For some reason it seems comforting.

I had my hair more blondified today. I much prefer it to dark

Jealous of blonde hair and abs. I used to have abs once.

I've had a lovely day with friends and crochet.

Hit the wall over tea time though, then got R into bed only to remember Ewan needed batteries. So stole Ewan, who doesn't need batteries, the entire harp leg has died! So bedtime sans Ewan. Slightly screamier than usual, but not much and R is now quiet...

I need Wine but have none. Nor chocolate. All I have is hot chocolate powder in this heat and plain digestives. Mummy fail Sad
