Sad just heard that p is really poorly - really high temp and being sick and I am stuck at and a meeting until 8. All I want to do is go home Sad

PetiteRaleuse · 22/05/2014 18:31

:( pass but you know she is being well looked after though I guess that doesn't help much.

This weekend I am going away on a joint dh birthday and French mother's day celebration. With the kids and dog but should be a nice break.

ValiumQueen · 22/05/2014 19:51

Big hug Pass Thanks

Stunt drop the Pom Bears as they make J ill too. I agree with ADs papering the cracks, as with me it is also J's health issues that are the root cause, but I have been on them a month now, and they help. They really do Smile They help lift you to a level where you can address all the issues. Look into Mindfulness too. And go to the Moodjuice website, look in the professionals bit, and there are lots of good things there.

ValiumQueen · 22/05/2014 19:52

I also agree with the poo being a part of them theory. And that you cannot night train. You can lift them, but that just trains them to be lifted.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/05/2014 20:31

I've never thought about night training. I don't see it as an issue. Again I have been lucky. But when DH puts DD1 to bed she wants a nappy. When it's me she doesn't. It's been ages since I took off a wet nappy in the morning. Maybe about 10 months?

Paisleychick · 22/05/2014 21:10

What's with the Pom bears? Aren't they just crisps? Why does J need to eat them, not sure if I'm missing something.

BigPigLittlePig · 22/05/2014 21:12

Oh Pass I hope wee P is ok, that must be awful being stuck in work.

Stunt, F reacts even to soy lecithins, so worth bearing in mind if J doesn't settle fully. Great news about referrals for all of your boys.

F now has 16 teeth. Nearly there!

StuntNun · 22/05/2014 21:17

Thanks for the tips guys. J is still running around now completely hyper. Confused He luffs Pom Bears more than any other food. I hadn't ever bought them before but the CM said he liked them.

How is P now Pass?

Passmethecrisps · 22/05/2014 21:23

Thank you for the Flowers

Home now. P had about two hysterical and fevery hours and then seemed ok. She is sleeping very soundly and her temp is 37.1. Very odd indeed.

I shall share my Wine with all those in need

Kyz · 22/05/2014 21:32

Evening all,

was trying to order shopping online last night so didn't get chance to post. E has been a nightmare and a half today but we've survived and got to bedtime. Everybody fed nobody dead almost applied, I didn't feed him much as he wouldn't eat much, but I tried!

pr happy belated birthday to your dh

the swing bin racer sounds ace pp and your mum does sound quite awesome :)

E likes to say hi and bye too, but hi is a very enthusiastic HIYAH repeatedly, and bye is a very chirpy bah buyyy a couple of times. He is a fan of repetition, this boy.

Awesome buggy win yw :)

Hope you have a lovely holiday izzy

Can't believe how well you could type after 3 bottles of wine zamboni!

wanda i chuckled at dh having 'the horn'. I love bottom and in one of the episodes they go on about 'the mystical opposite of horn', which is apparently very mystical to them as men because they've never experienced the opposite of horn. Very funny stuff

Glad lo's eczema is calming down pr

Think everyone has covered it re: soy sauce stunt but i'd guess it would be worse too :(

lily today was my turn to question sanity - have you had yours back today? I hope mine returns tomorrow

I am finding the potty training very interesting. I must've had a thick moment as it hadn't ever occurred to me that tummy muscles would have anything to do with when they were ready. Duh. E is most certainly not ready and I have no intention of forcing the issue. Would love it if he woke up one day and wanted to use the toilet and didn't have accidents. I am not eager to start the whole cleaning of accidents/dashing to the nearest public loo thingy. I hope I will recognise any cues he gives me but so far, nothing

sorry you had a shit day yesterday pass and poor P, I do hope she's ok

sounds like L is doing fab pikz with the RR

stunt sounds like the HV is doing good things, then :) that's fab :)

I love storms, wish we had one here, but I don't want E to be woken up

Sounds nice pr hope you enjoy it

Tomorrow E's great nan is coming to see him, he'll love that, he adores her i hope i can get the bathroom cleaned whilst she's here! I am also trying to cook a slow cooker sausage and bean casserole, wish me luck! Todays pasta bake went down nicely :) I hope to start broadening my meals list eventually, I am sticking to easy things that I know for now, but I will try new things, I will.

Set to rain here tomorrow I think, fun! Hope good nights are had all round xx

Zamboni · 22/05/2014 21:58

Evening everyone! Just back from playing Robin Hood all day at an archery day out. I was not as good at that as I am at table tennis Grin

Off to catch up!

PetiteRaleuse · 22/05/2014 22:57

Robin Hood ? Ping pong? Do you ever work zamboni ? Wink

Wandathewindfairy · 22/05/2014 23:17

Great night had by all. Just relaxing before sleep, dinner went really well and everyone loved it, lots of wine, champagne, vodka Hmm

Can some just see to O for me In the morning!!

Cuddles for wee P Thanks

Wandathewindfairy · 22/05/2014 23:18

Thinking same as pr too much valley play zamboni

Wandathewindfairy · 22/05/2014 23:18

Ball ball ball.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/05/2014 23:26

Ooh. Pissed wanda . I love pissed wanda :)

PetiteRaleuse · 22/05/2014 23:29

pass toddlers sometimes have fever spikes for no reason. There is also "toddler diarrea" and random vom sessions. DD1 wemt through phases of all and I remember vq reassuring me on thread that they could be a gastro or just random toddler weirdness.

PetiteRaleuse · 22/05/2014 23:30

I guess we're coming up to that age now.

Passmethecrisps · 22/05/2014 23:39

I just popped in to see how she was as she seemed restless. Her temp was 39.8. I stripped her and she drained a cup of water. Perfectly chipper and wanted to watch telly but with a terrifying temperature. She has gone back to bed now but her temp is still 39.3. She is drinking and weeing beautifully though and is clearly fine. How odd though. She did point at her mouth and say teeth so she may be on to something!

Drunk wanda is ace!!

Passmethecrisps · 22/05/2014 23:40

Oh and my god was she farting like a crazy thing! Huge farts followed by giggles and insistence that there was poo

Passmethecrisps · 22/05/2014 23:41

You are quite right pr. Given what she stuffs in her mouth I am always aghast at the rude health she keeps

PetiteRaleuse · 22/05/2014 23:44

39.8 is very high. I'd calpol in the evening at that temp. Just to help her have a decent night. Good that she's giggling though. As adults we are utter wusses at 38.5+ :o

Passmethecrisps · 23/05/2014 00:01

I have never ever had a temp so I have no clue! She was in amazingly good spirits but like a radiator. Calpol given and back to bed for all

PetiteRaleuse · 23/05/2014 00:04

Sounds great. Temp can cause pukiness or can be a symptom of gastro pukiness. Fx tomorrow she's bouncing off the walls :)

Lily311 · 23/05/2014 05:44

Morning,
O was up for an hour last night, she wanted a cuddle and had huge screams as soon as left her room. I ended up bringing her in my bed but neither could sleep so than took her back to her cot and eventually fall asleep. It seemed like a separation anxiety, maybe the Tuesday night wake and sitter caused it? (Went out and she had a nightmare. Sitter was brilliant and called me to come home, she was fully awake by the time I got home).

Sleeping at my parents tonight, I have a driving lesson:(.
