We have quite a range of ages and they each develop at their own rates... so what can your toddler do?

LOL pikz!!

BPLP you've just reminded me, e can feed his fish. Well, get the food out and tip the tub into the top flap (and then i open it and do it for him). F and her pea stabbing sounds very cute!

PetiteRaleuse · 28/02/2014 20:22

Would be very quick for a mmr reaction fiat - they are normally 10-21 days later, not three.

ValiumQueen · 28/02/2014 20:25

Wow! jigsaws, colours, shapes, body parts? Amazing Grin

So J may well be a bit musical. Hmm. I am not in the slightest musical, but DH is, and has too many ruddy instruments already.

Slightly concerned about Stormy , but I guess she will be very very busy tonight. I have been counting down the days Stormy Smile You are so nearly there Thanks

ValiumQueen · 28/02/2014 20:26

Fiat, I agree with PR. too early for a measles reaction. Has LO been around anyone with the pox recently?

PetiteRaleuse · 28/02/2014 20:34

fiat was it you who lives in Italia?

flouncymcflouncerson · 28/02/2014 20:46

isles hope you're OK and all set for operation 'get rid of the fud forever'

I've been down for dinner alone... Quite pleasant really. Had some wine and an amaretto sours. Up in room now and will go to sleep soon so that I'm rested for my journey tomorrow! It's not sunk in that I'm going yet.... Shock Shock Shock Shock

fiatpandababba · 28/02/2014 20:47

Thanks pr could just be a spotty non related situation. Only 3 spots so not thinking chicken pox really but he's never been spotty. Just looking for links where there are probably none. Haha no, not exotic at all, Italian car in my user name but in edinburgh.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/02/2014 20:48

Have a wonderful time! Sleep and relax. Am actually a little lot Envy

fiatpandababba · 28/02/2014 20:49

We've been at music class so lots of children and to the local play group too. Really hoping it's just some random spots.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/02/2014 20:49

Ahem. What would one out in a sextext if they were to so one.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/02/2014 20:50

Of course I realised that when I went back and re-read :)

The pox starts with just a few spots. Did you have the pox vaccine added on to the MMR (which was why I was asking if you were in Italy as I think there too they do the MMRV as opposed to MMR) I was wondering if it could have been a poxy reaction to that part of the jab iyswim.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/02/2014 20:51

Put and do.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/02/2014 20:51

sophia you're in a naughty mood :o

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/02/2014 20:54

fiat pox does usually start with the odd one in warm places. Can even be like that for two or three days. They don't seem to start raised, but a small red blemish under the skin....... Could be pox and coincidental to the MMR as and aside we have a Much loved fiat panda 4x4 sitting outside, surprise of the year I laughed at DH but I love driving our little bear. At and is great on the fields

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/02/2014 20:57

Yep.

Jezz takes ages catching up with you guys.
Oct 13 thread has died. All on FB only. Weird.

Ok so harjun can sit in his cot and play patiently in morning.

He says mum to everything.

He knows food is mmuummm muuumm. And he has occasionally said dudu (pinjabi) when he wants milk. Usually I'm holding him. And he kinda leans in the direction he wants me to go in while screaming. When at fridge he stops and sweetly will say "dudu?"
He says bissssk when he wants biscuits.

He will squeal when he wants something. Ie holds my phone or remote until I put on his fav song (blurred lines and now drunk love)

He can swipe open my phone and navigate to his app. He does a lil dance wiggles his shoulders to music he likes. He has worked out volume control on my phone, side buttons and swipe.

If he hears A he says baby. N fh thinks he says baby crying. Lol.
If you say mwha he will kiss the baby.

Other day he said ba (out) went and got A jacket then got his and gave to me. Then kept saying Ba over n over again.

Walking fist step at 14month. He walks on his knees. No walking again until 15 months, we are at 16month and he has taken first steps outside. But still hardly walks. Only last week has he started walking when hand is held.

He reads his book to himself. Few days ago tore the flap on "where's spot"

I think he understands NiNi (sleep) and occasionally repeat and put his head in my lap.

He can pick up Cheerios and biscuits. Everything else is thrown on floor. He now can drink out of a beaker tho. Too scared to try his spoon control. However has managed a fork with food into him mouth.
Oh and today he ate crackers out of a bowl without tipping them out.

He doesn't stack his cups. No matter how hard I try teaching him.
He won't enjoy the swings Hmm
He won't stop trying to sit on his brother.

I like this. Makes me realise how much he can do. I get hung up about him not walking yet or his inability to stack ups.

GTbaby · 28/02/2014 21:00

Flouncy hope you have a wonderful holiday! You totally absolutely deserve.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/02/2014 21:15

isles is apparently ok, but has patchy reception. Will be around tomorrow evening.

BigPigLittlePig · 28/02/2014 21:16

Best thing F does is to bring me my slippers, like a well trained dog Grin

Sophia Wink

And chasing too, for that matter. I had wondered what was going on with beardy after you'd said things weren't too good. Enjoy London.

Gooooood luck Isles! Fresh start around the corner love xx

Passmethecrisps · 28/02/2014 21:19

Glad isles is ok. Big day!

gt h sounds fab! I know what you mean about looking too closely.

Passmethecrisps · 28/02/2014 21:19

flouncy enjoy every single minute!!!!!

PetiteRaleuse · 28/02/2014 21:20

LO has started refusing to go in the high chair this week. She wants to sit at table with her sister. The little ikea table. Except they get distracted shoving the table at each other. Which needs me to be right on them as DD1 will push it hard enough to tip LO back on her chair if she can get away with it. I do like that LO is now strong and assertive enough to retaliate to DD1's more violent behaviour. A bit Lord of the Flies parenting I know but is a good lesson for DD1.

Passmethecrisps · 28/02/2014 21:25

Great for resilience! I try not to be too quick to 'rescue' p from difficulty. Hard when she is getting shoved over in the soft play.
