Oooh a lovely shiny new Fred! I would go back over all the tail end of the last fred but this one is moving pretty quickly as it is so i'll just start here :) What a lovely fred it is too, i've sat and read it and have really enjoyed reading what everyones babies are getting up to, and the wide range of skills and words and things! It's amazing that they can be so different and all so brilliant :) Love it!
So, E... Born on 6/11
He has been able to stand on his own holding nothing since about 8/9 months but didn't start walking until 11 months and then has walked pretty much everywhere since he just turned 1. He can dance and bops around an awful lot. If he wants music on he turns the stereo on all the bloody time
He can say a fair few words, like mum, daddy, birdy, bath, cheese, purple, green, egg, cat, car, ball, dirty, baby, hiya, bye bye, up, bed etc He seems to know a new one every day and some of them are crystal clear whilst others are getting there. He does a brum noise for cars and can meow but that's about it for animal noises.
He can follow instructions like go and close the stairgate, go and knock on uncle zacs bedroom door, go and give that toy to the baby (my 10mo dsis), sit down, go and put your shoes in the kitchen, fetch a book/car/ball etc however is so very capable of ignoring bloody everything!
He also answers questions kind of, if i say do you want to go to bed, if he doesn't he shakes his head, if he does he goes up the stairs. If I say are you hungry he goes to the cupboard where his snacks are kept.
He can take the bottom half of his clothing off but gets stuck in his tops lol. He also pulls his trousers up or sleeves down when asked (usually)
He can do 5 block towers, can bring you either red, yellow, green or blue blocks (but gets bored after one or two colours), he does the shape sorter and if you say fetch me a circle he can, and square but they are the only two so far and as I say sometimes he just can't be bothered. He can do the stacking rings in order and likes to draw. He's not so good with stacking cups though, and tbh mostly likes to knock towers down. He can't do jigsaw puzzles but is showing signs of wanting to now and has a penguin bath toy that he manages to get the baby penguins into the middle of.
He can wave, clap and kiss and give cuddles when asked/in the right scenario albeit a bit late, think much BYE BYE EEEEE before he goes oh duh and waves lol! He is a champion thrower much to my distress! He knows the actions for pat-a-cake and tries a bit of singing but mostly just high pitched version of his usual sounds.
He knows my hair, ears, eyes, cheeks, mouth, teeth, nose and eyes. He knows his hair, nose, tummy, knees, teeth, feet and toes. He gets ears half the time, we started ears yesterday.
He can't feed himself, he's really very lazy in that department and you're lucky if he'll hold his own pizza/sandwhich/toast. I am trying to get him to though.
He can't bring himself to listen to the word no and goes out of his way to wind me up i'm sure of it!
He can't get through a day without some kind of accident and bump to the head.
Wow isles he's a prize prick alright!!
welcome back fiat!
Glad you worked stuff out chasing and yes, delete things!!
Lol pass e has shat in the bath more times than I have fingers. Lovely stuff. NOT!
Am very determined to lose 1.5lbs this week. I am that much off of a stone lost in total and i have said I will treat myself to a hair cut/colour when i've lost the stone. So obviously this week i stayed the same. Oooh I was so cross yesterday!!! I'll do it this week, i will. Or maybe i won't actually, because of pancake day coming up... I LOVE pancakes!
