We have quite a range of ages and they each develop at their own rates... so what can your toddler do?

Hi ladies, long time lurker and name changer. Used to be katkit1. It's nice reading about what stages the babies are at.
Alexander 20/11
Walked at 10 months
Not stopped since (not even 3 seconds to allow nappy changes)
He climbs everywhere and has no sense of danger
Will feed himself using hands and a spoon but it's quite hit and miss
Can say mamma, dada, Charlie (cat), granny
Is just starting to build blocks instead of destroy
Can unscrew lids of anything inc 1.5 Ltrs of orange juice
He's starting to understand music and will bob his knees a little

Covers her ears when she cries and barely even looks at her

PetiteRaleuse · 28/02/2014 15:10

When did the sodding OU become so inflexible?

ValiumQueen · 28/02/2014 15:33

Welcome back Fiat Smile

ValiumQueen · 28/02/2014 15:34

And I love that your LO bobs his knees a little Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 28/02/2014 16:07

LO bobs up and down on the spot too. The end of programme dance on in the night garden is a Family Event with many tears if there isn't one that episode.

ValiumQueen · 28/02/2014 17:01

From you or them PR?

ChasingDaisy · 28/02/2014 17:10

I most post a video of O dancing - it's bloody hilarious Grin

flouncymcflouncerson · 28/02/2014 17:19

I'm in Manchester!

J is 31/10 baby... Halloween
He doesn't walk or talk
He can say mum and random said burger the other day following his first burger king!
He can climb stairs, and chairs and tables etc
he can sleep in his cot!

Dd walked at 17 months but spoke well very early. I'm not concerned they are all so different!

PetiteRaleuse · 28/02/2014 17:32

DH mainly vq it's terrible :o

Lily311 · 28/02/2014 17:58

pr what's wrong with Ou?
Welcome back fiat
Where is isles?

PurplePidjin · 28/02/2014 18:02

Hi fiat Brew

Isles I hope you laughed in his face Angry

R has a canine Shock explains the rubbish napping, anyhow! I decamped to my mum who packed me off to bed with a sandwich, fed R, played with him and got another 30 minutes sleep out of him in the pushchair. I still don't feel human again but a hot bath will fix that once I've forced some dinner down. Off to the ILs again this weekend, then back on the parent-all-day-work-all-evening grindstone come Monday Sad I don't even have any Wine Sad

PetiteRaleuse · 28/02/2014 18:06

Lily I wanted to put a module I did a few years ago to a degree in French and German and cut out the two lower French modules because there's not much point in me doing them, but they won't let me.

I can use it towards law, psychology or history, but I wanted a language degree to open up options if ever I move back to the UK. IT WOULD HAVE SAVED ME A FAIR AMOUNT OF pointless effort not to mention the cost of a 60 point module.

Oops caps lock error wasn't shouting.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/02/2014 18:08

pidj I had a very blonde moment and forgot canine was teeth then. Thought you were saying he had the expression of a shocked dog and spent a moment trying to work it out.

Lily311 · 28/02/2014 18:11

Oh ok. Just because I find Ou brilliant and helpful, not everyone experiences the same. Hope you can find a solution. I'm so glad I'm still on transitional fees.

Elizadoesdolittle · 28/02/2014 18:23

E born on 9/11
She can say duck (over and over again), baby, splash and hot. But mainly babbles and says duck.
She can walk with a walker or holding my hand but no independent steps. She has stood unaided a couple of times.
She sings (I use the word loosely) row row your boat, wind the bobbin up, head shoulders etc and if you're happy and you know it. She also loves a good boogie (the itng dance is also a fave here pr , I've only saved the recorded ones with it in to avoid disappointment).
She shakes her head and waggles her finger at her big sis when she is doing something she doesn't like, failing that she just bites her Shock

DD1 was walking at 11 months and hasn't stopped since. Her first word was also duck, at 13 months.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/02/2014 18:35

Want to know what and who chasing is doing this weekend. Grin
