bigpig I hope you are ok? I agree with the others - write a formal letter outlining clearly the instances you have mentioned and what action you will take if it happens again. Tell them you want a written response too detailing what steps are in place to prevent it happening again.

Elizadoesdolittle · 20/02/2014 22:08

E is a massive fan of ITNG too. Am taking her to see it live in June. I took DD1 when she was 2.5 and the look on her face was absolutely priceless.

bplp I hope you get it sorted satisfactorily.

I'm exhausted but happier. We've achieved massive amount considering we did very little yesterday as DH had to work and I had both girls with me. The inlaws are taking them out for the day tomorrow which may mean I'll get enough done during the day to be able to get to bed before midnight.

PetiteRaleuse · 20/02/2014 22:16

Eliza I moved when heavily pregnant with LO and DD1 was 18mo. How you are doing it with two toddlers I don't know.

GTbaby · 20/02/2014 23:59

Aww I lost you all for a bit. Found you now tho.

A few more days and I can do the two week wait dance. NOT THAT TWW dance. Lol. The they leave dance.

PurplePidjin · 21/02/2014 03:16

Bastard tablet decided to spring into life just as i went to change r's nappy! Screen is buggered and i couldn't turn it off so it was by the bed slowly draining the battery. So I've spent an hour emailing all my photos to myself waiting for r to go the fuck back to sleep. Saturday at the ILs is going to be hell isn't it Sad

Lily311 · 21/02/2014 04:46

vq I luffs you.

bp I also think a letter is a good idea. Poor mini pig.
eliza I moved twice in the past 6 months. Never again.make sure the wine is unpacked.
det you are doing so well on sw! I'd aim for next April if I were you. For me it's heart over head.

Went to the theatre last night, o slept for the babysitter. She is still asleep actually. O has never wAtched anything else apart from baby einstein. I need English cartoons and I only have those a DVDs. Shame there is not much talk in them. I need to consider buying some, I don't want her to watch anything on iPad, she gets obsessive over it.

Big news, O's ni card arrived. We have free health care. Now onto sorting her surname out.

Thechick · 21/02/2014 06:48

Just popping very quickly. Wanted to thank you guys for talking me down when I was very overwhelmed with life. All is much better. Mil didnt come down which was perfect. Work is less crazy and I have a couple of days off next week so looking forward to doing the baby groups again. Going to try and catch up.

StormyIsles · 21/02/2014 07:56

Great news chick and lily.

Eliza mucho respect. Any tips? I'm dreading it.

Bp I agree with a letter but i wrote an email to my childminder after the dog issue and instantly regretted it. I hate confrontation. It's a tough one.

Not much tv here. She does get the tablet though some mornings to watch/play with. I think I'm going to give it to her actually as she plays with it in the car on long journeys too and I have no use to it now I've claimed the iPad.

She does watch bedtime hour on cbeebies while I faff about tidying up . Bad mummy recorded a couple onto the sky box so I can fudge bedtime...

Unplanned day off. Long story but I've had today and yesterday off and the holiday I took Wednesday cancelled and put down as home study. I won't complain. Enjoying a lazy morning in bed before I drop m at childminder later and come back to crack on with packing. Confused

PetiteRaleuse · 21/02/2014 07:57

Morning quiche. Bidding for more freelance work today :)

PurplePidjin · 21/02/2014 08:05

are my posts getting eaten?

StormyIsles · 21/02/2014 08:07

Good luck pr

I managed to get some freelance work from a friend of a friend last night. Only an hour a week but it can be done from home and every little helps. In all honesty I need plenty distractions right now.

Must seriously think about cutting back though....

Sophiathesnowfairy · 21/02/2014 08:29

(((Hugs everyone who needs one to do with any thing they need it for.))))

The Busiest Week Ever.

We squashed so much into the last few days I do not know where they have gone, I have managed to fit in a couple of haphazard photos which I will facebook.

We had a lovely afternoon with the Family Stunt DS1 was very taken with Mini Stunts 1&2. I don't know about them but my four were knackered after a whole day of fresh air and lots of running about, we stopped off at my favourite haunt on the way back for hot chocolate and they all sat in silence. This, believe me, is a miracle.

I did have their photos taken on Wed morning as I do not have a posh one of the four of them, this mainly entailed running round a ruined castle and the girls pretending they were models. The woman who did them though was brilliant and I think that kind of thing is actually quite good for the girls confidence, particularly at the moment.

Dd2 half mentioned issues at school and she told me that people always try to solve everything when she just wants a sympathetic ear. I am not sure who that means but I don't think she is aware of her dad threatening the girls dad. Anyway, I now know it is the girl who keeps bogey on her glasses that is the culprit. I think DD2 is going through a bit fat stage of emotional development that DD1 seems to have just come out of. I called ex H on the way back from the airport to let him know they were on their way home and we had a civil chat about them and where they were in life.

I have been up at 5:30 the last few days with O, we have been out of the house doing stuff by 09:30 and not home till around 5 ish, cook dinner, clear dinner, put boys to bed (offload story reading to DD1) settle DD2, shower & pjs then to while away the evening talking with DD1 till around 21:30. Collapse Into bed. Wake up some hours later sneak in on all my children to give them a kiss and back to bed till 05:30.

Feeling really tired.

Big achievement of the week......getting four children bathed, hair washed, looking respectable to get out of the house and in car at 09:26, four minutes earlier than planned. I hi fived myself.

Off for a cry now.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 21/02/2014 08:29

Mmmm pp yummy post on toast.

PetiteRaleuse · 21/02/2014 08:52

sophia I am so glad you had a lovely time :)

Lily311 · 21/02/2014 09:10

Not sure why sophia but I'm sitting here sobbing reading your post. You are such a lovely mum, so glad you had time with your lovely girls and boys.

Please adopt me Sophia. I am feeling distinctly unloved at the moment.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 21/02/2014 09:28

Most definitely chasing you and O can have the bunting room Grin

Think my car has broken down. Angry

When I started it the engine warning light came on and I couldn't get any power out of it. Am stranded.

I googled the fault and all sorts of scary stuff came up. I had a similar problem with my VW no garage Eve got to the bottom of it and I ended up selling it, very fed up. Please please please let it be something simple.

ChasingDaisy · 21/02/2014 09:31

The only thing getting me through today is the thought that I can get utterly fucking drunk tomorrow. By myself.

PetiteRaleuse · 21/02/2014 09:36

((((hugs)))) Chasing

I have only bid for two of the jobs - there were 8 in total but the deadline was Monday morning and I don't want to spend my first weekend of freedom translating. I know beggars can't be choosers but I really want to keep any freelance work I do to when the girls are at nursery.

PetiteRaleuse · 21/02/2014 10:15

Outbid. Fuckers.

Kyz · 21/02/2014 10:55

Morning all, E is having his nap so i'll see where I can get up to!

I think i'll keep with e's dummy and sleeping bag for now, as it seems to work. He did wake last night but I think largely down to teeth as calpol fixed it. Also he's woken with a cough the past few mornings so it's highly possible he's coming down with something too.

hugs pass, lots of hugs and congrats on p saying daddy! lovely :)

I know it's not necessarily so that you can plan when to have a baby but I had planned on having my implant taken out when e is 2. Hoping mostly for a non-winter baby just to space things out and i'd like a 3ish year age gap if possible. So the plan is to just see where we are at when e is 2 and go from there.

E still has a bottle at night, I don't think it's doing any harm though and he seems to want it/need it as he drains it.

Halve grapes here too, but don't peel them

BPLP I hope you get the food issue sorted at nursery, you're right it's not on. If F was anaphylactic as you say, she could've had a severe reaction or even died, and it needs sorting! She is obviously in discomfort from it which is bad enough imo. I think a letter is a good idea

hi bry! lovely to hear dd1 is doing so well and g is so lovely :) and things are ok for you atm :) hugs

hi to you too brockle

lovely to see people back for a bit :)

ack chasing have some hugs, sounds like you need them too! :(

eliza sounds like you're doing really well with everything, well done!

Sophia I got a row from the local garage for googling car ishoos with my new wheels. My diagnosis was a complete new engine Blush (it needed a service and an exhaust bracket) fingers crossed it isn't big. Huge cuddles to you, sounds like a rough time.

I am going for a bath to warm up and eat a cream egg then will read kyz's post before cracking on with packing Grin
