Hi all - the old thread was about to run out so I started a new one.

Little Miss was up to mischief last night. Thankfully it's DHs day off today so he took her into bed with him while I slept in the spare room. She is just so excitable when she wakes up at night. It can can 90 minutes to scrape her off the ceiling.

That's great Pinkbear. You must be relieved Smile

Still bf here; typically 4 by day and 2-3 at night. Only the first and last feeds in the day are of any decent length - the middle two are usually done in 5mins (usually because he gets diatracted)

He's had a few days of peculiar nappies. Easily 4 poos a day, all of a reasonable quantity and all a very dark green. They don't give him any grief, so not constipated. Normal?

BeanCalledPickle · 26/02/2014 20:03

Can't believe how much you feed! We have morning milk, before bed milk and normally one other. I think I'm done now. There's a lot of biting going on!

Was just looking at the FB group. I can't relate the user names here to the people on there!

curlyclaz13 · 26/02/2014 21:00

We still bf a lot probably 6 during the day abd 2-3 at night, should make it interesting in a weeks time when I go back to work ! He has had a bit of ebm in his cup so one less worry.

SunnyL · 26/02/2014 21:05

Can I join the FB group too? Feel like I know you guys well enough by now.

Pink I hope your Dad is feeling better. parents aren't meant to get ill.

I've sent PMs to Aloha and Sunny for the Facebook group:-)

Pink glad your dad is out of surgery, what a stress for you.
I am really suffering here with morning sickness plus complete exhaustion of first trimester that I had managed to completely forget about. Plus looking after ds who is full of cold is not fun.
Loving the weaning talk, keep it coming. I'm not a great cook but I'm really trying with ds. Hoping to fill the freezer up with meals for him before I go back to work.

AlohaMama · 26/02/2014 22:09

Oh good bean, that makes me feel better. I was starting to worry I was somehow depriving dd of bf-ing even though she doesn't want it.

Sweetpea I can't even imagine being pregnant right now. Hope the sickness eases off.

Nouseforausername · 26/02/2014 22:13

hi everyone its steffanoid here under a nc, I've been utterly crap at posting, have lurked a bit and will make a reserved effort to check in more often. I don't know where the last 8 months have gone!!

AlohaMama · 26/02/2014 22:22

I can't keep up with this nc malarky. I've lost track of whose who, who's got how many kids and who's preggers! Meanwhile my name is now hopelessly inappropriate but I can't think of anything better!

BeanCalledPickle · 27/02/2014 08:30

I've tried to add Aloha to the group but I'm not sure if it's worked! I love being able to see photos of these babies I feel we've got to know pretty well since they were tiny Beans.

Aloha I'm going to call you BackInTheUk Mama? Or IMissHawai'iMama?

I think that as long as I BF her when she seems to want it, ie when she gets really shouty, then we should be ok? Same with food. I try not to stress about how much she eats.

AlohaMama · 27/02/2014 08:54

I seem to be your friend Bean but can't see the group. Nice ideas for unames!! I feel that IMissHawai'iButQuiteLikeLivingInTheNewForestMama just doesn't roll off the tongue quite so easily!

MadameJ · 27/02/2014 10:50

I just need admin of the fb group to confirm me I think! X

BeanCalledPickle · 27/02/2014 11:08

I have added people to the group but the Admin needs to confirm. I don't actually know who the admin is, possibly MrsBri?

MadameJ · 27/02/2014 11:45

I'm on!!! Exciting stuff :-)

SunnyL · 27/02/2014 12:12

This is probably a stupid question but why do people name change? Are we worried the NSA are bugging us?

Anyway I've finally joined the FB group although I'm kind of sad to lose my mental images of you all... Wink Wink

SweetPeaPods · 27/02/2014 15:31

Sunny I changed username as I think my mum found out my old one!

BeanCalledPickle · 27/02/2014 16:44

Ha, what mental images did you have?!

RueDeWakening · 27/02/2014 18:24

I'm an admin, and I think MrsBri is too (can't remember! Grin) - think I've approved everyone so far.

pinkbear82 · 27/02/2014 19:29

Lol'd At the mental images bit! I'll try and get on the group and add a more recent pic of dd. Who was furniture surfing today, she sort of crawls, but I think she's gonna be a walker. yey

Thank you all for the well wishes for dad. He was moved out of ICU today, he is still bleeding, and his lungs are a bit sticky but mum says he was grumpy today, so must be improving! Wink I'll see him again tomorrow, but let him rest today as he's stubborn and won't with me there.

All the name changes have got me thinking...

AlohaMama · 28/02/2014 12:20

Just took dd swimming for the first time. She seemed to love it despite the water being freezing. DS enjoyed it too once he got over his suprise - "we're going to a swimming pool? inside??" yes son, not everyone got to spend their first 2.5 yr only swimming in the sea Smile Glad I had DH with me, still haven't worked out the logistics of doing it all by myself!

Sunbeam18 · 28/02/2014 13:42

Let me know if you work out the logistics, Aloha! I can't see how it's possible to take even one kid swimming on your own - we needed two adults! I think we might be very badly organised parents though!!

SweetPeaPods · 28/02/2014 17:52

I do puddleducks with ds so getting the hang of going on my own. Though it was easier when I could get him dressed and he would just lie or sit where I put him. Now he wants to be on the move, so I have one hand on him and the other putting my clothes on!!
Not sure what I'm going to do when this baby arrives.
Loving all the pics on fb btw!

AlohaMama · 28/02/2014 18:30

Sunbeam I think I need a couple more goes with DH before I attempt it alone. The pool bit isnt' so bad, she just toodles round in her little swim seat and the pool is shallow enough for DS to stand up. It's the getting changed malarky that's a nightmare, especially once everyone is cold, never mind the logistics of going to the toilet (has anyone yet worked that one out??!)

Mrs81 · 28/02/2014 18:31

Our local pool has highchairs in the changing room that you can take into the cubicle and park baby in. There's also changing tables but once they wriggle it's not much help beyond the getting changed part!

MadameJ · 28/02/2014 19:11

When I take my 2, I take our small stroller. After swimming I wrap dd1 up and give her a drink, get dd2 dried and changed, she is then plonked in the stroller whilst I get dd1 sorted. It works well for us! X
