For the baby or for us Pear? M has started to get really frantic if I just go behind the fridge door! She's constantly trying to climb up my leg and pull my clothes down drives me bonkers .

Frus I've got a great list as well. Stitches in chin from falling onto Dbro's highchair aged 3. Fell off bike aged 5 w/o a helmet and was in hospital for 17 days for a closed head injury, broken arm aged 12 from gymnastics, knee surgery after hyper-extending and blowing out the PCL from a vault in gymnastics aged 16 (2 weeks after getting my driver's license, major blow), broken toes from running into a wall at 19, , nothing major since then. DBro has had it WAY worse than me though. Loads of stitches and broken limbs. Grin

We have attachment issues too - I pick him up & he grizzles until I let him go play with DH's tools or eat mud again... He does get very excited when he sees us & crawls over so fast he crashes into things! He only really needs to be held when he wants to be carried somewhere for food/sleep... Although he did fall asleep on the living room floor yesterday! HmmGrin

peardrop2 · 20/04/2014 09:27

Well he's not too bad in the day but in the last two weeks he's really ripping my clothes when I try and put him in the cot to sleep. Last night he woke at 10pm and wouldn't go back to sleep until after midnight. I was wondering whether this is because his grandparents looked after him for 2 hours whilst I did some gardening. He doesn't really know them and was fine at the time but it's the only reason I can think of for his strange behaviour in the night as he wasn't hungry, teething or ill. We also tried an extra blackout blind but he still woke at 5:30am. So annoying Hmm He's tired but he can't self settle himself back to sleep. DH took 30 minutes to settle him and then he woke up at 6:50 for the day. I guess he will grow out of it but man is it tiring!!! Grin

bringonthetrumpets · 20/04/2014 20:08

Oh Pear I feel ya! It's 1000x worse in the middle of the night! You just want to go back to bed and having someone refuse to go back into theirs is SO. DAMN. FRUSTRATING!

I think M knew LFC were playing today. She woke up at 5 with DH (we're 6 hrs behind you!) and played downstairs until 8 when I came down and then went back up to put her down for a nap and now she's on nap #2 for the day and has been down for an hour already. Dsis is coming with her BF for dinner and we're going rouge and are having spaghetti for easter dinner Grin

I seem to keep missing loads at the moment Hmm
Lor Shockhorrifying, it's horrible when they get hurt isn't it, we've had three a & e visits with tiger! She's just so rough and tumble but the eye thing sounded really horrible
I'm the same as you btw only stitches in fanjo, never a broken bone etc
Bring we have the same breed! Kitten gets upset If I look as though I'm leaving the room, chases and tugs she crys even if someone else picks her up and I'm right next to here until I take her back Hmm
Luckily we don't have the same at night I don't think I'd cope
The kids here are starting to get better, I've got their horrible cough that won't go and an eye infection Confused god I'm sick of these germs!!!
Just put the jumperoo and stuff on eBay, feel very sad, like it's the end of baby things Hmm

peardrop2 · 20/04/2014 22:43

Thankfully bpear is happy to go to other family members and close friends with minimum fuss. Sleep training began yet again today as Mr koala was refusing to nap alone...again. Tough love Hmm

Kitty is 2 really it? How can u be sure? I hope you get a good price for the jumparoo!

So, I think I've decided on birthday presents for bpear. 1) annual farm pass. 2) bubble machine 3) sandpit accessories. I am considering a swing. Hoping the farm pass will be a gift from his grandparents.

peardrop2 · 21/04/2014 06:46

Oh TG. Sleep training helped. Finally a better night, 7-6:45am. I lay in bed thinking wow I feel great. What a difference it makes when I'm not up at 5. Then I looked in the mirror and I look really bad. Not feeling so great now Grin

kittykatsforever · 21/04/2014 08:36

That's a great night pear well done baby pear Grin
Idont know its definatly just 2 pear but don't want to keep all this big stuff for a maybe, if we do I'm sure I could buy it again for the same price I sell at second hand and itsnotcluttering up

bringonthetrumpets · 21/04/2014 18:25

The kidlets and I were at a protest this morning! A chain of hospitals decided to ban waterbirths at short notice and people are MAD about it! Now DS#2 is chanting, "ho, ho, hey, hey, waterbirth is here to stay!" Grin

Bring that is hilarious. Made me laugh out loud Smile I can just picture a young boy chanting that. How old is DS2?

peardrop2 · 21/04/2014 19:06

And it's cute that you can them kidlets...not heard that one before

Do toddlers like beanbags?

bringonthetrumpets · 22/04/2014 01:33

Sad Frus, that sounds really, really stressful. I'm sorry it was that kind of a day for you. How come DH gets to take an hour-long bath??????? He's a dude. Dudes take showers. Toss the baby and the dog in the bath with him and go out for a walk by yourself Grin

PS. We made the evening news! I made sure to hide myself and not talk to any reporters but the boys' signs are up on the news website and there's a quick shot of them.

OK I'll leave the beanbag chair. It's ringing A&E bells!

Lorelei353 · 22/04/2014 13:24

Great protesting Bring! Can't believe they're banning waterbirths!

How many milk feeds are your babies down to? DS still breastfeeds last thing at night and first thing in the morning, as well as one during the night. I've been giving him two bottles of formula - one at around 10.45am of 120ml and one at 3.45pm of 180ml but he's showing less and less interest in them and would rarely finish them anyway. He's obviously eating bigger meals now so I don't know if we can just drop a bottle?

What are your little ones doing?

Lor Bpear is having 6:30am, 2:30pm, and 7pm. If we're at home he has a tiny little comfort feed before his 9:15 and and 1:15 naps. It's really tiny though and I'm not sure he even gets anything. I probably shouldn't have allowed the habit t but I think it's cute how he has his snuggles before naps Blush

peardrop2 · 22/04/2014 15:54

Oh and if he shows hunger signs I'll give him a snack at 10:30/11am.

I think personally if you dropped that in the night feed he would probably be more interested in one of the bottle feeds during the day. I could be wrong though! Just talking from experience with bpear.
