Hello < returns from absence> we've had illness again Hmm party's all day sat, loads on Sunday then Monday I felt like crap, really bad head etc then yesterday tiger was being sick, the washing machine has barely stoped, we all seem abit better today so fx not sure if kitten felt the same as me as she wasn't sick or it's teeth as all 4 top teeth can be seen comming through but she would not be put down yesterday, my god it's draining!!! If I did shed cry and chase me pulling at my jeans to pick her up again, I'm lucky even with illness they both sleep so well as I'm wrung out, my illness whatever it was kept me up Monday just shivering and getting too hot tossing and turning Hmm ugh had enough now
Bring I think when you do baby led weaning you do find they don't eat as much, it gets droped and played with and such so while we do it for some meals I do like to feed her that kind of thing aswell mine love Ella's too baby heroin
Can't believe the story with your sis Shock is have lynched her but then I am trying to think back to 21 how things like that didn't seem so bad or strange and it is a different world to them the bribing with brownies was a low point though Confused lol

kittykatsforever · 19/03/2014 17:24

Oh and pear, that never changes btw dh never feel it's their responsibility to get up even when your at work too ( as clearly they work harder Confused) I just do it all as otherwise I do the same, lie awake seething at everything he's doing wrong! That said I rarley have to do anything at night bar change tigers bed occasionally as we've taken nappys away completely now, isn't she a star, she's only 2.5! But I do kick dh out of bed early once in a while Grin

Aww kitty. That bug is nasty Shock

I've had a tough day. Bpear is mega frustrated that he can't do more. He discovered that the cupboards he's obsessed with opening and shutting in the kitchen actually contain items and he's mighty annoyed that he can't reach can't reach yet and on top of that he decided to crawl into his changing unit this morning so he's got a big bruise on his face Hmm Oh and the ball games did not go down well but on the up side I didn't turn on the TV once so that's a really good thing! Not that he's interested in TV anyway but sometimes I call on Baby Einstein if I'm desperate Hmm

bringonthetrumpets · 19/03/2014 19:45

Oh man frusso OUCH. These kids are beating us up! Sad

M is getting really frustrated too. Attempting to crawl, but she's just not getting places as fast as she would like to.

Does anyone have a sandpit? I sooooo want to build this for bpear but we're not DIY people Sad www.thislemonyogurt.com/a-box-of-sand/

kittykatsforever · 19/03/2014 21:08

Pear I'm impressed you put on kids tv lol my two have to put up with recorded corie if I'm desperate Grin
Hugs and sleep vibes to you frusso

peardrop2 · 19/03/2014 21:17

Kitty I'm not talking to you Grin First you say your Lo's sleep doesn't suffer even when ill and now they're entertained by adult TV?!? Not fair EnvyEnvy

peardrop2 · 19/03/2014 21:24

Frus Hmm When did you wean last time?

I've just made sure DH is prepared that I will be pushing him out of bed again at 2am! I'm determined to get bpear sleeping through or at least until 6am so he isn't such a grump tomorrow!

peardrop2 · 19/03/2014 21:39

How can stair gates be so expensive? Just looking at the babydan auto close and the price comes to £130 for 2 gates with extension bits. Great Shock

I just want a teeny tiny bit of physical space for just 5 minutes! Runt's being soooo clingy. DH isn't good enough. He must be within lunging distance of a lactating boob at all times. Except he doesn't just want to sit & cuddle. He wants to writhe all over me while digging his pointy toes into me, pulling my hair/clothes, pinching, scratching, clawing... Grabbing at the computer... The only time he's not been attached to me today is when Calf's been playing & he's been annoying him trying to join in, when strapped into his chair for meals or when we've been trying to convince him to sleep in the cot.

I know I complained that Calf wasn't clingy enough but I'm pretty sure I ordered a cuddly one, not an octopus with hard tentacles & claws. Right now he's alternating between trying to hit the computer & chewing on the label of my top that he's somehow managed to uncover. I have bruises on my thighs from him standing on my legs & digging his pointy toes in. I have a bruise on my cheek from him headbutting me. I have scratches on my chest from general clawing. I'd really, really like 5 minutes by myself where there isn't screaming somewhere else!

pear We sort of have a sand pit - It's an under-bed storage box! Makes it much easier to cart around so we don't have to keep it in one place!

He's now buried his face in my side & is moaning gently to himself. It tickles terribly but I daren't move! At least he's still!

peardrop2 · 20/03/2014 05:05

Frus ~ sorry I meant stopped feeding at night but still fed in the day or is that what you're answering?

Ah Frus I see. I looked at second hand gates but I can only find the clip up handles which I despise because I can't work it out Blush I think the gate we want it too new to be sold second hand. Typical us!

Ahhh I knew bpear was being a monkey and doesn't need milk in the night! He didn't wake until 5am but then self settled until 6am and then was up for good. I can totally survive on 5-6 hours of non disturbed sleep so I will persevere even if it means I'm up at 6!

If anyone thinks I'm going to post a photo of myself without makeup on FB to say I'm aware about cancer is kidding themselves Grin Seriously!! It's much more worthy to give £ to this cause. This is why I despise FB Confused Now you're going to tell me that you've all done it Wink

Lorelei353 · 20/03/2014 10:48

Definitely not done it pear That kind of slacktivism drives me mad.

Having a baby has seriously damaged my brain Hmm You post the photo in hope that people text a number and donate £3. I'm the silly one Blush

Yes, the number seems to be a recent addition to the selfies. Most of the ones I've seen have been of people who've been wearing make-up regularly since the age of 12 & seem to have forgotten that lipstick is make up! Hmm Lots of pictures of 'naked' skin with bright red, shiny lips! I can't imagine anyone would nominate me to do it - all photos of me are make-up-free! I can't wear the stuff with my skin condition. Does that mean I'm singlehandedly curing cancer with my bare skin every day? Maybe I should start hanging round hospitals - one look at my bare skin & they'll all be feeling better... Right?! Wink

kittykatsforever · 20/03/2014 16:06

Pear, the kids are not entertained by adult tv they have no choice it's just I am for abit Grin
I have been nominated not decided yet but like Agnu said I never really wear makeup so it won't be such a shock to anyone lol
The idea is if you post your pic up you donate the £3 with a text, definatly most of my friends have as they post the thankyou for donating msg you get with it

kittykatsforever · 20/03/2014 16:08

Oh and the clip handles are really easy to use use, just squeeze and lift! I think they sell them new in asda on the baby events at £12 I got mine at the car boot, can't wait for them to start again in a few weeks Grin
