Ahh kitten is a bread fiend! That's probably why she's getting so bunged up, I have to limit her supply lol
Have you tried using fancy bread like Apple and sultana or hot cross bun from m &s? I just keep it in the freezer and do one piece every few days,

peardrop2 · 24/02/2014 10:23

No I haven't tried special flavoured breads although I did give him a tiny bit of hot cross bun but stopped when I read that sugary things can make his condition worse (and also didn't want to be giving him sugar anyway). Why M&S out of interest?

Oh I feel a bit better but so bad for DH. I went to bed early because I was feeling really rough. DS got up at 10.30 and DH had to hold him until 1 as he wouldn't be put down. I got up to feed then and put him down but DH got up with him again at 3! He ended up sleeping, sort of, in the single bed with DS until 6.15 when I got up. I got a great night and DH had a rubbish one.

However it looks like he's a top tooth cutting through today so mystery solved.

kittykatsforever · 24/02/2014 19:55

Oww that's a rough night for poor dh and bubs, those top big ones can be rough!!
Frus yes it does tilt when you twist it, hadn't really thought about it before until you pointed it out, the straps are joined at the back so they should be identical in length
Pear, no reason for m &s other then I don't know if they sell it anywhere else, I don't actually like it, I only bought it when my mum had it and dd1 liked it as she's not a bread fan but liked that and it was from there

peardrop2 · 24/02/2014 22:15

Frus ~ you have the strap problem too Grin What you have to do is pull them out so they're are the same length and then pull to tighten. If they're not the same length then it doesn't work. Fiddly isn't it! And yes bpear looks tilted too.

Lor ~ well done DH for giving you a break to get better. Always nice to hear but not so nice that it was a rough night Shock

Kitty ~ ahh I see. I'll try M&S for the bread then next time I go past. At the moment he is refusing everything apart from porridge. Might be a comfort thing, not going to panic. At least he's keeping it down Wink

Ok, freaking out now... Y'know how we had a scare back in December & I was really relieved when AF arrived... We've not DTD since then but I'm late. I'm never late. Literally since my first period I've been every 28 days like clockwork, except for when I was pregnant. Now I'm completely paranoid that it was just period-like bleeding & I'm actually 3m pregnant! Hmm Just tried to talk to DH about it but he's just dismissed it & fallen asleep again! Since having Runt my periods have been heavier & shorter than previously & I don't think that's changed. Someone tell me I'm being ridiculous?! I keep trying to convince myself that it's just the breastfeeding - Runt has been feeding more at night recently... but he's dropped all but one day feed & even that doesn't happen every day! I'm obsessing over what we'd say to people! I couldn't bring myself to announce that our baby was a mistake but I've been adamant that we would be waiting 4 years before even considering it! No-one would believe that we'd suddenly changed our minds & then continued to lie about it for 3 months! I'm going to have to get a test to put my overactive imagination to rest aren't I?! Even that won't convince me - aren't tests only reliable for the first few weeks? Slightly hyperventilating now! Blush Anyone know where I can get a cheap test online?! I am being ridiculous. Aren't I? Aren't I? Confused

Lorelei353 · 25/02/2014 02:50

Oh cricket agnu I'm sure you are just being paranoid and it's just bf. Firstly, don't stress now about what other people might think. It's not important, and definitely too soon to think about it.

Secondly I've no idea where to get cheap tests. Sorry. You definitely need to find out for sure though. Fingers crossed for you Brew

peardrop2 · 25/02/2014 05:25

Agnu - I have an envelope in my draw full of cheap tests. I can post you a couple if you like? But I have a feeling you may wonder to the shops today?!? If you do then Superdrug is a good option. I'm envious...I miss testing Blush

Am I the only one who hasn't had AF return?

Lorelei353 · 25/02/2014 06:58

Agnu I'm almost positive it will be because you are still bf, there's no way your periods can be the same while doing it as you are still producing different hormones! I think get a test if you think you will panic about it as it's better to be certain, don't worry yet about what you'd say, one bridge at a time my love

Best to just do a test to get it over with and then worry about what to tell people. Wink. I wouldn't even wait for an online test to come through the mail. Just bite the bullet, spend the 5 pounds (oh! Maybe they have them at the Pound Store??) and get it over with today or you'll worry yourself sick. I also think it might just be because of bf'ing. If you suddenly have a night where baby feeds a few more times than normal, it can delay ovulation due to the higher surge in prolactin which inhibits estrogen and then you've got a late period due to a later-than-normal ovulation. Also, tests are able to detect hCG until mid/late pregnancy so you would definitely still be within the window of be able to POAS. I kinda miss the excitement of POAS!

bringonthetrumpets · 25/02/2014 14:36

I haven't gotten af yet either. I think it's wanting to start itself back up though. I keep getting random cramps and twinges and mood swings Confused

AGnu · 25/02/2014 14:54

Is it bad that the only 2 things that are making me not so excited are what we'd tell people & dealing with the stress of having 3-under-3? Aside from that I actually kinda wouldn't mind...! Wink

I can't quite bring myself to go buy a test. What if someone saw me? It would make it too real! Blush I'm suddenly regretting posting my spare one to Thunder! Mind you, I think it was her & Frus who made me order a pair of frers online in the first place so it seemed fair! Grin pear I'd really appreciate that... Shall I PM you my address? Am happy to send some money for them/postage via Paypal if you want!

I'm never having non-TTC sex again. It's too much stress!!! [very serious face]

peardrop2 · 25/02/2014 17:18

Agnu - sorry I've only just seen your post and I think I've now missed today's post. If you can wait until Thursday then Yes PM me your address and I'll send it first class tomorrow morning. And no I don't want any money. It's just the cost of a stamp and I have like 50 still hidden in my draw. I'm rather excited that we have a passenger POAS again...sorry I know that's not what you want Blush My theory is the more excited the bus is the less it will be true?!

bringonthetrumpets · 25/02/2014 17:19

You have so much will-power agnu I'm getting antsy over here and I'm not even the one taking a test! Get your butt to the shops, lady, you're driving us all mad. tease!

Eh. So don't tell them anything. You should never have to explain yourself to anyone.

Well at least you're having sex....

Exactly bring I'm glad someone is Sad

kittykatsforever · 25/02/2014 19:30

My dh went to the spare room last night on the pretence if getting up early yada yada when I know it was because he wanted to please himself history on iPad deleted and tissue by bed. How dum does he think I am! I'm abit offended he didn't even try to get some first although I was watching one born so he'd have had no chance Grin

bringonthetrumpets · 25/02/2014 20:08

Haha, oh ew, kitty! DH makes no qualms about it the fact that he's going to take a shower for a very specific reason. Hmm It's just always overshare over here with that guy.

All this talk about AF must have sent a memo to my uterus b/c mine showed up about an hour ago! No mistaking it this time. Urgh. Somebody pass me some chocolate.

BiscuitWineBrewThanks Bring, it sucks doesn't it

peardrop2 · 25/02/2014 20:47

Does this mean I definitely can't start TTC until AF arrives? How do all those ladies fall pregnant then? Maybe they're not bf?!

I'm really excited. Taking bpear to his first music class tomorrow. I've been going stir crazy at home trying to entertain my crawling/standing koala Grin
