pear My friend had to stop bf-ing to get pg with DC2. She had one period & was pregnant again!

Have had a proper chat with DH... He's not concerned about it because it's "incredibly unlikely" but not impossible! & says we'll just tell people he has "super sperm". I've told him I'm more than happy to share this with everyone I meet, as long as I can see the look on his parents' faces when he says those exact words to them! Grin The people who refer to ones bum as a 'seat'... Even that's said as if it's a naughty word! Hmm

I'm afraid you'll all have to wait until at least Thursday! It would be sooo typical if I found out this week - I was 5 weeks pg with Runt at DBro's wedding & it's their PFB's 1st birthday this weekend - no idea how I'd keep quiet about being 3 months! It was hard enough hiding being just 5 weeks! I'd bind my belly in bandages before I stole their thunder though! In fact, I kinda did! The dress I bought for their wedding fitted perfectly when I bought it but by the time the wedding came around I was already sufficiently bloated that I needed giant control pants just to not look obviously pg in the slinky dress! Hmm I was just commenting to DH the other day that I've really got to lose some weight off my belly... [scared] I've been weeing more too!

pear Will pm you!

AGnu · 25/02/2014 21:43

pear You can start TTC whenever you like - you have to have ovulated to have a period so by the time AF arrives you'd already have had one chance... Might be best to wait though - you'll drive yourself as mad as me wondering if you're pregnant when you can't rely on AF to say you're not!

peardrop2 · 25/02/2014 22:17

I came off the pill and AF never arrived. 4 months later I was pregnant so I really doubt I'll see AF until DC2 is officially here Wink

peardrop2 · 25/02/2014 22:19

I mean until I finish bf Dc2...obviously Wink

peardrop2 · 25/02/2014 22:24

Holy molies. If that happens to me and I bf DC2 for a year then I've just worked out that I could have no AF for 4 years! That a lot of money saved!! Is that even good for the human body?!

peardrop2 · 25/02/2014 22:25

Maybe if I talk about it enough it will appear like bring Wink

Rofl Frus that's hilarious! Grin Runt tried to latch on to my belly earlier after I tried to move him away from the breast! He looked most affronted when I squealed & sat him up! It tickled! Blush

pear Hurry up & get knocked up then - I don't wanna do this alone! Wink

See, AF can't be on the way for me - I'm not even remotely craving chocolate. Still eating loads though, just don't need it! I made DH get me a celery stick as my evening snack a few days ago... I've got to stop symptom imagining spotting! Blush

Sooo... AF is like Beetlejuice then? AF, AF, AF... Nope, still nothing!

bringonthetrumpets · 26/02/2014 00:22

pear it's actually good for you! Less hormones and long-term that means reducing your chances of developing breast, ovarian, and uterine cancers. Oh and you can start TTC as soon as you want to! please, please do. I would love to live vicariously through your pregnancy Wink

Haha. I have an outie bellybutton and M gets really confused sometimes and tries to latch onto it Blush

Grin That's so funny bring lol
Pear I got pregnant before af returned last time, wed only dtd once once when it must have happened as dh had broken his wrist!
My mum was 5 months pregnant with my dsis when she found out as had been bf dbro

peardrop2 · 26/02/2014 17:26

Agnu ~ your future is in the hands of the Royal Mail. Let us know when it's reached your hands Wink

Kitty ~ sounds like I'll be having a similar experience to you then Wink

Boo.

AGnu · 26/02/2014 22:15

I've been Beetlejuiced! 'AF' -like bleeding arrived today! Still v paranoid though so I'll be doing a test as soon as the post arrives! I think I'll only really stop worrying about it when we get to mid-September & there's no baby! Blush

Sorry frusso! I promise I wasn't ignoring you! I was in prenatals all day with M tagging along and charming everyone. She also just somehow managed to pop a tooth without so much a peep Hmm

Sounds like most likely no babies then agnu Do you think you will have any more?

Oooh Pear We need allllllllllll the details so that we can meticulously symptom watch with you! Wink

Hmm.... trying to think of a solution for the bed-size difference. Maybe like you mentioned, something to raise the cot up?

OP posts:
Lorelei353 · 27/02/2014 03:06

Chop the legs off your own bed so it's lower?

peardrop2 · 27/02/2014 04:00

I'm having a very bad night. Can only think that teeth are to blame for this one. Symptoms are not very clear Hmm

peardrop2 · 27/02/2014 09:02

Agnu ~ boo Hmm are you disappointed? You've got some FRER tests for next time Wink

Bring ~ it sounds like I've confused you somewhere down the line. I'm not pregnant Hmm Like you all say one has to be active to get to that stage!!

Teething is such a pain in the bum!!

AGnu · 27/02/2014 14:37

Post arrived... One very strong line... & not so much as a hint of a second! Grin I do feel a bit sad but I guess it's a good thing really - we'd have had 3 under 3! Shock We'll give it a few years & I'll see if I can't convince DH to have a couple more!

bringonthetrumpets · 27/02/2014 14:49

Haha, no. I know you're not pregnant pear but so far you're the one who's actually expressed desire in dtd, getting af, and ttc with #2 let's see how many more acronyms I can throw into this sentence so I'm excited for you Smile

M is popping pooping out olives again today and yesterday. Poor girl. She's clucking like a chicken laying an egg. Gotta pick up prune juice today and halt the bananas going in. Speaking of the little madam. She is refusing all assistance with getting down for her nap, so it's just one of those instances where she's gonna have to figure it out on her own. Man motherhood is hard sometimes.

Sorry sleep was shite for you, pear. Sad

peardrop2 · 27/02/2014 22:30

Sorry Agnu :-( There's nothing like seeing that second line appear is there. I know you know it's not the right time etc but it's never nice seeing 1 line. I brought so many tests when I was testing Blush

Bring ~ for now I am just researching on how to increase my chances for a girl next time. Although I am now thinking that two boys would also be lovely. I must say I am really loving having a boy even though I've never been able to imagine myself with boys because I am a girly girl. Now that I have bpear I can not imagine having a girl but maybe that would have worked both ways if bpear had been a girl.

Today I was thinking that I don't want to know the gender of DC2. I knew bpear was a boy before they even told me. I'd like a surprise next time. I was worried that I would be secretly disappointed when they're born but now I know that you're so in love and in cloud 9 that you would be happy to give birth to an alien. I can be sure that I won't be disappointed now Smile

peardrop2 · 27/02/2014 22:33

Off to go and dream about my surprise gender twins Grin
