kittykatsforever · 20/02/2014 20:40

Hmm At two poorly boys pear, which equates to three if he's like my dh
Confused Frus my dd wants to take things home all the time, I can imagine the scene, I've unfortunatly been there
Brew For lor, hope he sleeps better tonight

bringonthetrumpets · 20/02/2014 20:45

Yay for teeth, nay for sickies and angry kids. Hoping for sleep and health for everyone.

I'm stuck in another blizzard plus another "polar vortex". Urgh. Gross.

Bring I ate Greek yoghurt tonight thinking I was doing good Grin forgot it's natural I need Smile

peardrop2 · 20/02/2014 22:03

Omg now I feel sick Hmm bedtime for me.

Bring ~ do you live in Canada? I heard there are extraordinary blizzards there.

DH and I were talking about summer holidays tonight. He actually said he would consider going on a plane...he must be sick as I thought this idea was out of the question! Anyone booked their summer holiday yet?

Greek yogurt is still good too! It's the friendly bacteria in yogurt that makes it so good for you.

And.... I live in Minnesota, which is right under Canada... so it's basically the same thing. Hmm We currently have about 4 feet of snow on the ground and another projected 8 inches to fall tonight and all day tomorrow. I know it. Polar vortex is so stupid. It's like weather forecasters over here are running out of exciting things to talk about because most people over here are in denial about global warming so they start dramatizing everything. Naming winter storms, hauling out terms like "polar vortex", predicting 12 inches of snow (when only 3 inches fall) it's just a bloody palava.

Can I just say that I kinda just hate my not-DH. He threw a hissy fit tonight and now he's snoring in my bed. He was a jerk-off to the kids, started ranting at me again like last Thursday night, and went to bed. I'm so f'ing sick of his shiz. We're fighting like cats and dogs. I just want peace and harmony and to not be accused of being a lesbian who somehow f-up's the satellite dish with my super human powers (yeah, that was actually what the fight was about tonight). OMG. It's like he's lost his flipping mind or something.

Frus, free-play areas bring out the worst in any child. So much stimulation for little minds.

Well, that went well. I got about....oh.... 3 hours of sleep total last night. M finally went to sleep at 1ish, DH woke up when I finally made it back to bed and started reading posts from this forum that he's on about homebirth I don't give a shiz when it's 1 in the morning, go have a baby in the gutter for all I care Hmm and then M was up again at 4:30. Brought her in bed with me and she moaned and complained and couldn't get comfortable and wanted to nurse but then had to burp and then didn't want to be held until 6:30 when the whole house woke up.

Yes. Work has been messing employees around, micromanaging DH even though he's like the teacher's pet, changing rules around, he's been banging on about it for weeks to me and then says "Oh, sorry, thanks for listening to me moan" but then will go on to have some wine and turn into a belligerent bastard and start a fight with me. I'm damned if I'm a good wife and I'm damned if I'm not! What gives??

Haha good for you frus! I haven't done much this week either.

Oh bring Hmm TG you're not allergic to coffee like me! Sounds like you really need it today BrewBrewBrew Turning to Drink can be really evil at times Hmm It makes you say all kinds of things you don't mean if you're under that kind of pressure from work etc Like you say there isn't much you can say to make it right but there is only so much a wife can take Sad Have you discussed counselling with DH yet? Would DH be happier in a different job? I guess it's the job that is keeping you out there.

peardrop2 · 21/02/2014 15:52

Wow Frus that's a worry for you! TG for straps eh but an extra battle as I guess he will soon cotton on Smile

Well, I'm really sick. I've been in bed all day Hmm I feel so weak. DH had to bath DS again this morning. His diarrhoea is still really bad Hmm DH has to go to work for a bit at bedtime...just hope I survive on my own Shock

So, random question. When did everyone finish getting SMP? I can't remember when it stops and I'm trying to work out if it has stopped or not.

Oh dear pear Hope you feel better soon. TV, couch, tea and cuddling with baby today. Hope the runs are over soon for you both.

Oh I've tried that trick frus He just goes and buys more. And yes, I've suggested counseling many, many times. That just starts another fight. I don't think being stuck in the house together for months on end is helping the situation much.

Bpear has done diarrhea again. It's on the carpet. That's 3x today Hmm Is it normal to do it this much. Not sure if I should call the doctor. He seems OK just feeling sorry for himself. He also seems to do it a couple of hours after I feed him so I'm wondering if I should be feeding him Hmm Perhaps it just needs to come out. Gawd this is horrific. Wouldn't wish this on anyone Sad

peardrop2 · 21/02/2014 17:06

Bring ...I wish. This boy has too much energy for sofa cuddles!

peardrop2 · 21/02/2014 21:03

Anybody giving their LO vitamins?

Lorelei353 · 21/02/2014 21:12

bring it sounds so tough for you right now. I've no words of wisdom in how to deal with things with your DH but thinking if you.

pear it all sounds horrific! Is bpear ok? I'd be stressed by now I think.

I'm still just getting smp, just. My February salary slip arrived today and had about 2/3 of the usual smp on it, which would be about right as I finished work about 3 weeks into May.

I'm giving DS vitamins pear. My health visitor got me to pick up the Sure Start free vitamins when DS turned 6 months. Just finished the bottle today (some spilled). Got some other vitamins. To give him from tomorrow.

peardrop2 · 21/02/2014 21:17

I feel a bit dumb. I didn't even know they could have vitamins at this age :-/ Off to the health shop I go!

Lor ~ 4 days of sickness feels like forever! DH has been amazing today and dealt with all bad nappies. Feeling very blessed that I've had the chance to rest!
