My booking in was always 10 weeks too. For the first time ever I am not insanely jealous, just mildly! I had just lost all my weight and 2 extra lbs when I fell pregnant with DS2. Bloody typical isn't it.

ValiumQueen · 13/02/2014 07:41

Hey YW. Piss on that stick FFS Grin

You will put on weight. You may lose it all. You may not. It doesn't really matter. What matters is you are Mummy and will soon be outnumbered at the rate you are going. Remember my candle analogy. There will be plenty of love for every little Wellie that you are blessed with x

Evilwater · 13/02/2014 07:45

I'm doing my speed awareness course today.
Oh, YW. So jealous.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 13/02/2014 08:19

I don't know the candle one vq? Please share. I tell the children my love is stretchy like an elastic band and can go round as many of them as required!

YellowWellies · 13/02/2014 08:23

VQ sorry love J has just woke me 20 mins ago. He has clearly got the memo to let me sleep. Stick duly pissed on. Faint cross Smile . Looks much fainter IRL than on the FB pic. So will only be convinced when I see it on a digital one. This is why I shouldn't buy cheapies I end up doubting my own eyes and forking out for a clear blue afterwards anyway! Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 13/02/2014 08:34

Morning quiche.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 13/02/2014 08:38

Ok. So if you were a girl. And you were 9 or 7 and you were going to stay somewhere what would you really be pleased to see In You room ready for you?

I have ordered some bunting to put up and I have put up a canvas of some children playing on the beach, they have all their books, a cuddly blanket each on their beds and a cushion. I have some baskets for their hair stuff and they have a little CD player (cunningly with a children's relaxation cd in.) all the shells and stones they collected last time are on the window sill where they out them. What else what else.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 13/02/2014 08:38

Morning pr

Pikz · 13/02/2014 08:45

Sophia what about a scrap book each where they can write about their week and draw pictures etc that they can keep for each of their trips over?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 13/02/2014 08:47

That is a fine idea.

I did actually out one of those doodle books up there and wondered if I should get another, but a scrap book is good idea.

FatimaLovesBread · 13/02/2014 08:48

Morning PR

Pikz · 13/02/2014 09:00

Morning everyone

Sophia you could get some cool glittery pens etc to go with it

Sophiathesnowfairy · 13/02/2014 09:14

Yes, I was thinking I could get (dig out of the craft cupboard) everything one would need to do a bit of scrap booking, like glittery pens, pritstick etc .Then at night before bed we could do the day.

ValiumQueen · 13/02/2014 09:18

Scrap book is a lovely idea Smile Although all they want, or need is you x

The candle analogy... Cannot remember the exact words, but it says about the flame lighting the other candles and together they glow even brighter. It is very natural for a mum to worry that they will not love any subsequent children as much as their first, but it is the love that they have for the first that grows and grows. It doesn't have to be shared out. I will try to find the original.

ValiumQueen · 13/02/2014 09:19

And YW, a line is a line is a line.

Message from my DSIL who has just had DC2: "Didn't quite know how my heart would expand beyond a DD1sname but it just seems to have doubled in an instant."

ditsygal · 13/02/2014 10:48

YW congratulations! amazing news - what's 5 months hey?!

Lily311 · 13/02/2014 10:57

Morning,

Hope all is well everywhere.

sophia my sister got a cheap used digital camera for her kids for Xmas and they take it with them when they see their dads. They love taking pictures and maybe it can be a good idea for them as well? So they can see their brothers and you when away?

Social services are coming for a visit on the 24th. Not sure what for once again.

PetiteRaleuse · 13/02/2014 12:22

I love vq's candle thing. I couldn't imagine loving DD2 as much as DD1 but, despite the fact I didn't get the instant rush of bonding for either of them, I wouldn't be able to say I love either of them more than the other one now.

PetiteRaleuse · 13/02/2014 12:23

I'm still waiting for my rtw email....

ChasingDaisy · 13/02/2014 13:23

Hello quiche

I like the scrapbook idea Sophia. Something they can add to every time they visit.

Had a nice morning with O. My dad and stepmum came over and we took him out to the pet shop and to buy a pillow (and some owl fabric to make a pillowcase). He insisted in walking everywhere and even walked outside for the first time Smile He kept looking at people walking past to make sure they were watching him. He adores the attention he gets from strangers. Everyone loves him and he knows it.

I am simultaneously dreading and looking forward to this weekend. It is my audition for Pointless on Saturday and due to the timings/travelling, O is staying with XP Friday and Saturday night. It will be the longest we've ever been apart Sad

YellowWellies · 13/02/2014 13:41

Digital test says preggers. I believe it now. Smile

ChasingDaisy · 13/02/2014 13:45

Woo! GrinThanks

Pikz · 13/02/2014 13:55

Woooohoooo YW! X
