Ok am going to put the pic of test result I sent to DH on the MN group for you guys expert eyes as we've all at least spotted one BFfP before and so I can be told I'm a silly paranoid old moo. Or a silly up the duffed old moo!

Smile
PetiteRaleuse · 12/02/2014 13:30

Plus you will need the calcium and fat from chocolate dairy to help build the new baby.

YellowWellies · 12/02/2014 13:31

Soph he sounds like a nightmare. I'm so sorry. As a Mum I know I would be feeling totally how you are - this is not how I'd want to handle bullying either. Still at least not many sleeps and you'll be able to chat to DD about it and help her to process it all a bit more sensitively xxx

YellowWellies · 12/02/2014 13:33

Ahhh see I have been taking calcium daily anyway - it's part of J and my routine we take our morning calcium liquid so that should be ok. And fear not PR I never need a hand upping my fat intake Grin but I know that I wouldn't really want to feed beyond the first trimester. Crumbs so that would mean weaning him by April. Poor chap. He'll not take kindly to this I fear....

Pikz · 12/02/2014 14:07

Yayyyyyyyy for YW. I have no advice on the feeding.

5 months is nothing!

Am a little bit jealous Grin

Pikz · 12/02/2014 14:11

Sophia agree with YW not many sleeps and you can talk to DD about it sensibly.

applepieinthesky · 12/02/2014 14:31

awww yw How exciting!! We recently found out two people in my family are expecting and it has made me broody all over again. DP asked last night if I want to try for another now. I've told him I'll think about it. We should really wait another six months or so but like you I would be pleased with an accident.

StuntNun · 12/02/2014 14:39

Ultimately Sophia it's up to him to deal with the bullying, even if it's in a way you don't agree with. I would maybe gently question whether intimidation was the best way to get results. But definitely have a chat with your DD and let her talk about it so you know how she feels. My DS1 was the victim of cyber-bullying last year and he did a PowerPoint presentation to the rest of his class on how to avoid cyber-bullying which I thought was a healthy, if unusual, way of coping.

Congratulations YW and Mr YW fingers crossed the SFP will turn into a BFP. If you are updiffed then weaning J in April isn't really that much earlier than you were planning anyway. How would a surprise pregnancy affect your work scheduled for the year to come?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 12/02/2014 16:06

I too think a very healthy way to deal with it stunt

YellowWellies · 12/02/2014 16:13

Stunt well this project is due to finish in the summer and I'm well ahead of the 26 weeks in the 66 weeks before the due date for MA so money wise it should be ok actually. My clients are v used to me being pregnant or a new Mum. I would like to build up savings so that J can keep going to nursery for two days a week once the baby arrives. So that likely scuppers a chance of a foreign holiday this year. Boooooo. Then it won't be long until he's eligible for free nursery some mornings a week. I've just been chatting it through with my sister who is vair excited. And has offered to help look after J whilst we wean him come April. So if I am indeed preggers and the LO stays on board, I'm looking at my last month of BF with J Sad

PurplePidjin · 12/02/2014 17:30

Sophia hugs. i can't imagine how hard this is for you nor do i have anything useful to say

yw yay! fingers crossed for a sticky bean x

r is asleep . he's been whinging all afternoon and fell asleep in the car after lunch then in the sling at 4 when we popped out. he's off his food and i'm hoping it's just teeth but will get him checked tomorrow if we have a bad night Sad

Lily311 · 12/02/2014 18:00

sophia I wouldn't rock the boat before the girls arrive! sorry. But this could make a good chat when they leave. Good luck

O had a fall in the communal garden, she has another bruise on her forehead. She is as clumsy as me.

Anyone follows the edspire blog? The one where Matilda Mae died of SIDS? Good news on the site, she is pregnant again. I'm relieved, I know the baby won't be MM but she will heal this family.

And in theory o should have free health insurance in 21 days. In theory. Let's wait and see. She is due to have the jabs next week but I wait till the paper comes as I don't want to fork out £150.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 12/02/2014 18:14

Tbh I don't want to rock the boat at all and often I hold my tounge. I will see if dD2 brings it up and if so we will talk. If not I don't know what I will do. It needs to be dealt with v carefully and ExH has a tendency to fly off handle. I don't want a row. At grass roots I just want to be sure the girls don't see (or even hear of) their dad decking anyone.

Poor O. My O is falling a lot at the mo and I wonder if it is to do with growth spurts and not being aware of their space.

ValiumQueen · 12/02/2014 18:42

Sophia I think it is best left. I do not see how mentioning it could do any good. Hopefully he will learn a better way. Big hugs. He is mean for saying 'my children' but you know he is wrong on that one x

YW I think wean ASAP. The first few weeks are hard and you need as much chocolate as you can get on board. J will be fine.

Pikz · 12/02/2014 18:56

I need chocolate. Periods suck donkeys.

YellowWellies · 12/02/2014 19:50

VQ I've got this week's dairy challenge ready and waiting for Friday Grin .Crinkly mini cheddars (I ate boxes of these when preggers with J hmmm wonder where the dairy intolerance came from? I had to buy a box off Amazon as nowhere on the island sold them!) and a KitKat crunchy. So far weekly chocolate is enough. Will see how I feel - I'd like to feed for another month as he is still so wee (not 20lb yet) if I feel ok but I'm happy to wean if needs be.

ValiumQueen · 12/02/2014 20:23

Is it beginning to sink in YW? It is amazing how your life changes the instant you see the line. Even when you already have kids. Smile

BigPigLittlePig · 12/02/2014 20:29

Holy crap YW!! Congrats! Fwiw I would prob stop bf sooner rather than later, as if something were to go wrong, god forbid, then I'm the sort of person who would beat myself up asking "what if?". Will be a lovely age gap - fc for a sticky baby Grin.

Can't remember a single word of what the rest of you said, sorry!

Elizadoesdolittle · 12/02/2014 20:39

Well all 3 kids were asleep by 8:15. Perhaps I can do this mum of 3 lark.

PurplePidjin · 12/02/2014 21:50

Does anyone know how to open a link in a new tab on a macbook? dp's is giving me the rage and he might just kill me for nicking it but hey ho no playbook was killing me

YellowWellies · 12/02/2014 21:59

Pidj Click on the slightly grey area to the right of the current tab top.

VQ it is sinking in Smile I'll believe it if it comes back positive tomorrow morning when I POAS again. I'm still falling more and more in love with J every day so it feels so abstract to have someone else on board. By the date of my last period I'm nearly seven weeks so Det when should I get in touch with the midwife? Then it'll feel real!

And there's me finally just back in my size ten jeans Grin still this time I won't be eating whole banoffee pies! I'm not putting on 3-4 stone this time. Ha preggers and back on dairy once I wean the bear I am so going to put on a metric ton aren't I?!!!!

YellowWellies · 12/02/2014 22:00

Pidj sorry click Ctrl and click and you should get the option to open in a new tab xx

PurplePidjin · 12/02/2014 22:09

Hurrah, YW you're an angel!

Pikz · 12/02/2014 22:19

Yeppers wait til the 1st tri munches set in whilst you can also eat dairy again.

Very exciting!

applepieinthesky · 12/02/2014 22:37

Booking in is 10 weeks where I am.
