Morning quiche. Just marking my place.

ValiumQueen · 08/02/2014 07:04

Sorry to bad nights. I am happy to report that after settling with some difficulty, my son woke just once at 3.30, and after being laid down and patted by Daddy, slept until 6.30! Well done my boys!Smile

ValiumQueen · 08/02/2014 07:05

Still no word on little E? Hmm

Kyz · 08/02/2014 07:10

Sorry guys haven't had time to read or reply properly but e is still at home after a marked improvement yesterday with both eating and drinking :) fingers crossed it was largely down to penicillin allergy and he'll hopefully be right as rain soon! Still very poor balance and rash but I am keeping a very close eye on him. Haven't read Fred but have skimmed and know people want to know how e is, thankyou all for thinking of him and it looks like the vibes have worked! Hope yesterday wasn't a fluke and it's all on the up from here :)

Thanks quiche xxx

passsorry stuff is stressful at work! I used to see my mum go through it all the time as she worked in a very challenging school and actually got a stress allowance or something. But I remember her having tough times. I hope you came home to big snuggles from your P. Thanks

Hope e is doing ok this morning kyz

Piss off all vom and snot and teeth gap in market for baby dentures instead

ValiumQueen · 08/02/2014 08:26

Great news Kyz, although it sounds as if things are still very hard for you all. I hope he continues to improve and is soon back to his little cheeky self.

BigPigLittlePig · 08/02/2014 08:38

Brew for all.

We have a new tooth.

Now pleeeeease sleep tonight?

What are people doing today?

Elizadoesdolittle · 08/02/2014 09:11

bplp Hopefully the tooth popping through will be the end of it, until the next thing that comes along.

kyz Glad E is improving. Hope things continue to do so.

pikz Sounds horrible. Hope L is ok today and you manage to get some rest.

chasing looking forward to hearing about how today goes. Hope bf is a hit with O and manages to not hit xp.

DD1 has 3 birthday parties today. Not even I'm brave enough to attempt all 3 so we are going to 2. Should be fun in a crazy noisy way. Keeps us out of the rain anyway!

GTbaby · 08/02/2014 09:47

Fucking awful night. Then FH comes in and wakes us both. I could have killed him. Now he gets to sleep in peace. Not resentful. Nope.

And I miss the days were one load of washing was enough. Particularly when I was off work during summer.

Must dash. H is demanding I read to him. He is BU.

PurplePidjin · 08/02/2014 10:05

BrewandCake

We're off to a 1st birthday party. I also need to pop into town so will be dodging showers Hmm

ChasingDaisy · 08/02/2014 10:38

GT, go and wake him up. Or get H to demand that he reads to him. Speaking of reading - O keeps climbing up onto his bedroom chair and fetching his favourite bedtime book (Owl Babies - thanks Lily Smile). He then sits there 'reading' it. Very cute.

Thanks Eliza. BF should be here in about an hour. Eek!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 08/02/2014 11:15

Good luck today chasng x

PetiteRaleuse · 08/02/2014 12:17

Back from the market and now going to light the fire and snuggle. It's cold and rainy.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 08/02/2014 12:37

That sounds perfect.

PetiteRaleuse · 08/02/2014 13:11

Yup. Am pretty damn content this afternoon. The market always puts me in a good mood.

PurplePidjin · 08/02/2014 14:00

I'm reduced to phone only as tablet has finally died Sad sunny but very blowy here

GTbaby · 08/02/2014 16:06

Chasing can't complain to much. FH is with H now and I'm in bed feeding aka watching the good wide.
I'd love to have a crackling fire.

Can I just say...
4weeks 4weeks 4weeks left.

ValiumQueen · 08/02/2014 19:08

Snuggles up waiting for news of the haggis meet. I have had a lovely day today but do feel sad I missed it.

GTbaby · 08/02/2014 19:25

Just gave A a bottle of ff. I do miss the "knowing" he is full. Feel guilty for wanting to quit because of sleep. Spoke to sil. She think it will get easier by 5 months.
Sure we had a bad night last week or so. BUT not that bad. Very confused as I have no reason to quit other then wanting a routine.
Sry another ramble by me. If I waver even a lil to FH he gets on the anti bf rant and it annoys me. I want a proper discussion. Not one sided as it makes me defensive of bf.

YellowWellies · 08/02/2014 19:53

GT it does get so much easier after six months as they eat more and more solids - but growth spurts and post jags will always be hard because they get comfort from it so seek it out. Today was quite significant for us, as usual I pick my outfit with BF in the back of my mind - cardigan, vest, layered tops so easy to feed in IKEA discreetly if needed. He didn't want a feed from 10am until 5pm so I could have worn what I'd liked!

The haggis meet was lovely. The babies are so smiley and jolly at this age. P was Queen of the mountain goat club and forkfuls of peas o hell yes! James just has the cutest most chilled smile ever and I could cuddle him for hours - Flouncey if you were closer I'd happily babysit him. We created a coral of buggies, sofas and coffee tables to keep them in but Jonas is an utter Houdini / bear on a mission and kept escaping. Murray is all OMG get me and my walking! (and so tall!). And Tilly was such a cutie - she looks so much like a wee toddler now. The bear looks months younger than her and Murray! Jonas is definitely the disobedient one of the group. He's been doing much more walking practice since we got home so I think he was inspired! The meet was too short as ever and much more manic now they're all on the go but lots of fun.

YellowWellies · 08/02/2014 19:58

VQ we missed you and J xxx

PurplePidjin · 08/02/2014 20:01

GTE aren't you in 4 month hell atm??

hate mining from my phone Sad

PurplePidjin · 08/02/2014 20:02

ffs gt and mning Angry

Passmethecrisps · 08/02/2014 20:07

Good summary yw! It was lovely if more active than previous meets. And there definitely a queen sized hole. So to speak!

I left probably half an hour after I should have as I ended up dragging (sometimes literally) p round to look for a baby fork and a photo frame. She ended up having a complete flat on her back screaming melt-down at the tills. The place ground to a stand still because no one could get past her and I was trying to get the things paid for as quickly as possible. Wasn't the best end but hay ho.

She has just gone to bed so fingers crossed she sleeps the sleep of a girl who has been well and tiredly played out.

ValiumQueen · 08/02/2014 20:53

Sounds fab. Lovely pics Smile I really must get J used to his reins.
