Right. I have done my starter for 10 cv. DH has gone over it and given me a couple of hints he will be seeing the person I am sending it to tomorrow

I have kept it very high level and within each job role I have prioritised achievements that involve project management and x European Interaction which seems to be key. I have gone back 4 job roles to 1999.

I haven't done a personal statement as I don't think I need it for this purpose. My first hit is two people who know me extremely well and I have worked with for years.

Ahhhhhhh

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/02/2014 21:49

Well then gt That's more than my house is. Clean, eh maybe. Tidy, nope.

I hate writing Cv's sophia. No good at writing my own but had to look through 100's when I worked in HR. Get straight to the point, no waffle. Keep it short and simple and tailor to the job you are applying for. List qualifications and jobs in reverse chronological order (you'd be amazed how many people don't). Leave no gaps and yes as pikz said grammar and spelling is very important (this is one of my downfalls!). I'm sure you'll smash it.

Just had a lovely hot bubble bath and lost myself in my kindle. Lush.

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/02/2014 21:50

Personal statements are just made up waffle!

BigPigLittlePig · 04/02/2014 21:55

I admire you bravey at taking electrical goods in the bath Eliza!

F crying so shall make this brief. The freaky eater got freakier, scotch eggs caued total disaster. We are now egg free to see what happens. I could weep for her.

PetiteRaleuse · 04/02/2014 21:59

pig

Hope kyz is ok

GT "as for your wife she is ten times the person Your mother is, well done lad, now piss off, leave us alone and move into your own home". :) you are awesome x

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/02/2014 21:59

Bplp Oh poor little mini pig. Hope she's ok. This weaning lark is not easy for most quiche babies Sad.

ValiumQueen · 04/02/2014 22:04

BP I am pretty sure scotch eggs have milk in them. Not caught up properly sorry x

Sophiathestormfairy · 04/02/2014 22:06

Grin I thought that about the kindle too eliza !!

PetiteRaleuse · 04/02/2014 22:09

How is your LO doing now eliza ? With the food and weight issues?

StormyIsles · 04/02/2014 22:12

Sophia - good luck! Happy to have a read too x

GT - what everyone else said, I am shocked by how they treat you.

Sorry to hear wee F is still struggling with food BPLP Sad

Have read everything but my mind has gone blank. I am soo wiped out, working approx. 60-70 hours this week and fighting off a throat infection. I am trying not to whinge, but I miss my girl Sad

I am also seriously stressed about moving and the timescales and practicalities of moving

GTbaby · 04/02/2014 22:14

Thanks everyone. Your sentence endings have made me smile.
She is being all nicely nicely today. Don't know why.

I only have one job on my professional cv. Boring if I ever had to apply for another job. I'm guessing I'd lump all my retail jobs in one bullet point.

Work is a lil Hmm ATM. Even tho I'm on maternity. I have a lady covering for me from within school. And a one year temp covering her. So my cover now has managerial experience and is applying for jobs else where... To be expected. I was hoping her temp cover would like to stay on, just found out... She is moving to china in sep Sad so now I could be going back, and have no other staff! Well they would employ someone else, but someone I would have to train up when I got back. So I'm going back, stuff has changed alot AND ill have to train someone else.
NB I'm a teacher so tech I'm not training, but a new member of staff will need to be monitored and coached etc.
SO a lil anxious about RTW now. On top of kids to come home to feel I won't be able to put 100% into my work Blush teaching is so hard (despite what Gove thinks) very confused about work I want to do. But I guess it's normal, I have been off work for almost 18months.

Anyway I'm rambling without a point.

BigPigLittlePig · 04/02/2014 22:17

Right she settled.

VQ these were specially sourced milk free ones lol. Some sausage rolls and some scotch eggs are ok, so for treats we get them sometimes. Previously she's been a bit meh about them, but this time she lurved them.

Sophia once they have your cv, what's the next step? Do you need to re interview? Sorry have lost track a little.

PR sorry to hear you were up last night. How was swimming? Hope dd1 had oodles of fun.

GT 5 weeks! That's 5 weeks too long! How long are they away for? Bet you can't wait to have some space.

Saw on fb that Flouncy is doing well, glad you enjoyed being out and about.

We had introductiom to puppy training last night in a cold blustery barn. Starts in earnest next week. Dh had abit of a close call on the way home when a tree came down in front of him. The other road into the village was flooded so he didn't think he would get home at one point. Scary biscuits. Still, there are some incredible photos around of waves etc, which we love to see.

YellowWellies · 04/02/2014 22:20

Oh BP Sad VQ lots of Scotch eggs (Tesco, Sainsburys and Co-op certainly) are dairy free they're one of my lazy snacks of choice. I kinda hope it was one with milk in as cutting out dairy, soy and eggs will be so tough Sad . Fingers crossed.

Eliza sounds lush!

GT and as for your wife "as you're a grown man my opinions on your wife are utterly irrelevant" Smile

Soph good luck!

I had a fab day. The Mummies at playgroup are becoming really good pals Smile . We've got another girl's night planned and I have two regular dog walking buddies.

Oh any tips on hair pulling? Jonas pulls his cousin's hair whenever they squabble (at 15 and 30 months that's like alllll the time!) he's proper brutal Shock . None of the haggis girl babies have long locks yet do they? Confused He might have to wear mittens on Saturday!!!!

StormyIsles · 04/02/2014 22:24

YW M will likely punch him. She did this when my friend's DS grabbed a fistful of hair Blush

PetiteRaleuse · 04/02/2014 22:24

DD1 loved swimming. LO 's trip to the pool brought her eczema back. She has been smothered in vaseline. Both were apparently fearless !

YellowWellies · 04/02/2014 22:31

Isles it sounds like they'll get along like a house on fire!!!! Grin It's usually his defence to Willow pushing him over using his head for leverage but today he got in a few offensive sorties Blush

BigPigLittlePig · 04/02/2014 22:33

Was a sainsbos one, was def dairy free, nothing gets under mummy pigs nose in this house. Have wondered a few times about egg over the months, this was the clearest reaction yet though.

Even he dogs treats have to be scrutinised for forbidden foods, just in case.

Glad swimming was a hit, our local pool is closed for refurbishing so no chance to go here. Dsd loves it.

No suggestioans about hair pulling YW. Other than remove J or his cousin, with a firm no, that hurts x.

YellowWellies · 04/02/2014 22:37

Aye we're doing that firm no and separating them but at the minute he doesn't really understand / want to understand Envy .

Passmethecrisps · 04/02/2014 22:38

P would practice her eye gouging and pincer grip pinching on him yw! She is like a mortal combat type when she gets going.

Passmethecrisps · 04/02/2014 22:42

P does this thing.

She suddenly goes very quiet and very still while staring into the middle distance. She might hold this pose for a few seconds before suddenly launching herself off something or waggling arms and legs while going "blehblehblehahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!"

Passmethecrisps · 04/02/2014 22:43

Anyone else?

BigPigLittlePig · 04/02/2014 22:48

No?!

BigPigLittlePig · 04/02/2014 22:49

I think our roof is leaking. I can hear the raindrops landing on my bedroom ceiling. Fucking weather.

Passmethecrisps · 04/02/2014 22:54

I have just asked DH and he has never noticed this. She must save this special habit for me

Passmethecrisps · 04/02/2014 22:54

And fucksticks to a leaking roof
