((((((Horsey and E)))))))

Passmethecrisps · 06/12/2013 19:48

horsey that sounds horrific. Wishing little E much more peanut butter on toast which stays in his tummy. Xxx

PetiteRaleuse · 06/12/2013 20:08

Can't fwd email. Since it went to trash it has removed its content Hmm

Basically pass was advising an OP to LTB for eating the last jaffa cake. Which is vvv reasonable as that would be a leavable offence in this house too.

ValiumQueen · 06/12/2013 20:14

I am so sorry Horsey. Are work being reasonable about you being off?

Pikz · 06/12/2013 20:17

Oh horsey massive hugs to you both xx

Pikz · 06/12/2013 20:17

Am so fucking sick of snot, vom and non sleeping. Might cry.

ChasingDaisy · 06/12/2013 20:18

Horsey that sounds bloody awful Sad The pics on FB made me feel so sad for you both. Poor little E. I hope he recovers quickly xx

horseylady · 06/12/2013 20:20

I think so. Tough shit really.

I popped down to see them and they supplied showers, toothbrushes and paste etc. And basically said don't worry. Dh been off too his work also seem fine. He was in hospital, seriously ill so we didn't have much choice

YellowWellies · 06/12/2013 20:29

Horsey wah what a horrendous few days. Welcome to the omeprazole club. It really does sort them out. You'll be Envy you were ever fobbed off with anything else. Have they established if it's CMPI or just reflux as CMPI can cause unexplained fever. Really glad you're home. What a scare. Sad Poor sausage.

We had our 12 month check today - they were in the house for 6 minutes. Useless. Didn't even bring their scales and measuring tape. Didn't ask a thing about what he was doing. Their view hmmm his growth is worrying. Yes he will need a calcium supplement. Their response - you're seeing the paed in five weeks ask her. We'll see you next at the 27 month check. You can see why the baby Ps of the world slip through the net. Envy

On the plus side they thought his weight bearing was fine and weren't worried about his joints. Not that I trust their drive by clinical judgement.

They dropped off books and crayons. I'd rather have a bit more care than freebies.

TheDetective · 06/12/2013 20:32

Oh I am SO glad that means I wasn't unreasonable last night. I threw a right strop at DP and DS because some utter twat ate my last bar of chocolate. MY bar of chocolate.

I buy 6 bars of chocolate and a pack of 6 crisps a week. I generally have one of each a day as part of my 'syns'.

I also buy a 24 box of jaffa cakes, 12 packs of crisps, another 6 pack of chocolate bars, a pack of biscuits, a pack of kit kats, and a pack of pink n whites each week.

DP and DS have that lot between them, and fucking start on my shit.

I lost it. So sick of it. DP is supposed to be doing SW too, but he's eating his way through a shit load of shit. Hmm

Neither DP or DS will admit who ate the chocolate, so I am fucked off at both of them. And they are eating too much crap!!!!

I stropped off to bed in a, errrr, strop!

I was tired, and all I wanted was my bar of chocolate while relaxing watching TV!

TheDetective · 06/12/2013 20:34

Horsey So sorry to hear E has been ill. I've been thinking of you the past few days.

Happy to hear you are home! And hope E is back to his usual little self soon. I'm sure he will be.

Peanut butter sounds good!

PetiteRaleuse · 06/12/2013 20:38

yw have any hcp's mentioned cf or is it something you are concerned about? Coming to a 12m check without scales or measuring equipment is bollocks. I'd raise a complaint, and 5 weeks is a long time to wait for an appointment. It'd be quicker to get on a plane and see mine! Or even a specialist paed over here.

PetiteRaleuse · 06/12/2013 20:43

I did have a good friend in London come to see my ob gyn in Paris. She was having to wait months to see one in London and going private was more expensive. But Paris is easier and cheaper to get to.

YellowWellies · 06/12/2013 20:44

PR GP wants the paed to test for CF. I'm pretty sure any lingering cough is reflux related.

Little sod must know that tomorrow night is my playgroup SAHM Christmas night out. He is stood at the end of the cot chatting to me. Wah so much for hoping he'll fall off his perch early tomorrow night so I can get out at a reasonable hour! Confused

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/12/2013 20:51

I too would complain yw that is worse than useless. She may as well not have come round. I am a. It seething on your behalf

I too have my SAHM Christmas do tomorrow night. The boss takes me out for dinner. Am excited. Have a new dress and everything!

Glad to see you back horsey hope you have a relaxing weekender. ((Hugs))

Hope you have managed to stave off the bug chasing

Pikz · 06/12/2013 20:53

Wake up one already done... It will be a long night...

PetiteRaleuse · 06/12/2013 20:55

yw I didn't mean to sound patronising. It's just you mentioned your sister suggesting it too upthread. Was worried you were fretting iyswim.

PetiteRaleuse · 06/12/2013 20:57

Envy that you have a sitter soph. I really need to strap on a pair and ask if any one at nursery wants babysitting hours.

YellowWellies · 06/12/2013 21:00

PR nooo you didn't sound patronising!

Sorry I've got to laugh DH is trying to settle a chatty and jolly yet wide awake bear. The vid monitor shows Jonas patting his Daddy's cheek and saying "Dada" then blowing raspberries. DH is struggling not to laugh Grin .

I think it's fair to say afternoon naps longer than an hour are to be avoided in this house [grin

TheDetective · 06/12/2013 21:04

YW Sounds rubbish to me too, ours was much more thorough. She watched him playing, and asked a huge load of questions.

Drive by health care Hmm.

My guess is that because he is already under the paeds, they saw it as an easy visit as the paeds can follow any concerns up.

Am I allowed to say any of that, I'm not sure any more Confused

ChasingDaisy · 06/12/2013 21:05

YW when I put O to bed he often grabs my face and laughs hysterically. I find it so hard not to laugh. Often I just give in and have a good old giggling fit together Smile

This online dating lark is so bloody depressing. My uni friend who was here today is single too (we're the only ones from our uni friendship group Hmm) and we were comparing online dating disasters. I need to get me some love potion out of Harry Potter to make JFG fall in love with me.

PetiteRaleuse · 06/12/2013 21:08

LOVE parent baby giggling fits. My favourite time. Even at 1am like last night. You're pissed off because you want to sleep but baby laughs and you melt. Unfortunately when they're a bit older like dd1 and they're jumping on your bed hysterical it really pisses you off.

PetiteRaleuse · 06/12/2013 21:09

Nooo. Love potions are bad chasing

PetiteRaleuse · 06/12/2013 21:10

Detective watch out in case a bored lurker and stalker decides to report you to your boss :o

Evilwater · 06/12/2013 21:10

Hello all,
horsey sorry to hear about all the sickness.

Ive Got some good news, the nursery have said his behaviour has improved. I am so over joyed, and so proud.

Work has been crazy today. So glad to be home. I'm off for a week now! :)

I've still got a snotty nose nose and feel like crap, but happy to be home.

Evil
