BigPigLittlePig · 05/12/2013 21:11

PetiteRaleuse · 05/12/2013 21:11

More wise words from vq ^

Sorry soph that sounded sarcastic. On thankful Thursday I am thankful that no quiche members got blown away, although stunt sounded like she might. Are you ok stunt ? :o

ValiumQueen · 05/12/2013 21:11

isles how's things at OOH?

People of Facebook keep asking me to play pass the f parcel. I do not want to pass the f parcel. I want it to stop with me.

Pikz · 05/12/2013 21:15

Glad to hear improvement for horseys E.

Ooh we had a bad night last night...exactly 6 days post jabs!

YW I am sorry to hear of much worry. I was and am very wee too. Only in late 20s early 30s did I put on weight but am very short. He is not a prize marrow and he may just be a wee one. Big hugs xxx

PR you are doing all the right things...we still have snot, mucus on upper chest and for now clear lungs...I feel like the broncholitis could be back any second.

Well done O fairy!

VQ your doctor sounds like a dick. Glad you were a lioness.

BP yay for sleeping through!!

Errr better go back and read through and see what I've forgotten.

PetiteRaleuse · 05/12/2013 21:17

vq maybe you should go pr for tonight Wink

Pikz · 05/12/2013 21:18

Can we have a Celtic count to check no one blew away?

J go to sodding bed....your mother needs a sit down.

PetiteRaleuse · 05/12/2013 21:19

There is a fucking wasp in my living room. V slow and am about to electrify it but wtf? The dog is stressing out, he is so scared of them since he got stung in the summer.

YellowWellies · 05/12/2013 21:25

Grin thanks all! I'm usually wobbly from whisky and white wine. Daren't do weed anymore (haven't for years honest guv) as it'd just have me wanting a ciggy! Envy Envy Envy Envy

He is fine in so many ways - so active, v jolly, incredibly affectionate (if I lie on the floor he races over to climb on me for a cuddle and snog), fascinated by books and anything with wheels, but he's just wee with spindly sparrow legs. It's sooo hard to fatten him up without the easy wins of cheese, yogurt etc.

As for the 12 month check - the HV contacted us at 13.5 months to arrange it. So give em time and they'll be in touch. I thought we'd been forgotten too!

ChasingDaisy · 05/12/2013 21:30

JFG took most of the photos so he isn't in any of them I'm afraid! Grin

YW I also didn't realise how much has been going on behind the scenes regarding J's size. All I can say is that I have always been small. It's just the way I'm built. Can't put one weight for the life of me. Hopefully J is just the same Smile And just look how happy and gorgeous he is Grin

FlouncingIsles · 05/12/2013 21:35

She's fine. Little sod wee'd in the car, otherwise we would have been blue lighted to a&e. She is v dehydrated so been given rehydration sachets and told to bring her back if no better in 24hrs. She is so withdrawn it's horrid.

Haven't caught up yet. Sorry. Will try later, up to my eyeballs studying finance and tax law right now...

YellowWellies · 05/12/2013 21:44

I hate it when they're withdrawn - Jonas got like that with reflux and it made me so sad to see him knocked for six and in pain. I hope she bounces back quickly. Good thing P is home with her rather than her being with a CM as its best to keep her away from other kids for 48 hours after the D&V stops as these things spread like wildfire. Poor love.

PetiteRaleuse · 05/12/2013 21:51

Glad to hear that isles she'll bounce back quickly once the d&v stops and she is rehydrated. I remember DD1 coming home after a week in hospital all waify and weak. The next day I was trying to keep her calm as per instructions and two days later she was chasing the dog in the fields. Despite many bugs since you would never guess she'd been so ill.

ChasingDaisy · 05/12/2013 22:03

Yep Isles, when me and O both had the vomiting bug a few weeks ago, he was over it within 48 hours, whereas it took me almost a week. Resilient little buggers.

flouncymcflouncerson · 05/12/2013 22:06

I have good news, the oven and hob work. My DH is just a twat!! Dad came round to have a look and asked about fuse that he had taken out and showed DH where it was etc for electrician to put back. Turns out DH didn't show electrician this and he had found another fuse out and thought that was the one Dh meant. It was not so crisis averted.

However, there are a few snags in the kitchen. I'm not sure who's fault they are so not sure what can be done?! Or of I'm being overly picky?! The oven has a scratch on the handle, it's quite big and noticeable as my light hits it. I thought at first it was silicone but it's not. Also a smaller scratch on the front. In one of the cupboards there's a random hole cut but not used for anything, a part of the worktop a screw has come through slightly on the underneath of a cabinet which means the white frame is split slightly. Also my dishwasher won't switch on, I reckon the spur behind it is off which will mean having to take the kickboard off and move out dishwasher as I chose not to have a spur above the worktop as it'd have ruined my feature wall! Erm....I'm sure there were more. Oh yeah there are holes in my plastering which is annoying but easy to fix as they'll just be filled when it's all painted if my painter ever gets home from New York in a few weeks. The filler plinth at side of fridge freezer is raggedy at the edges and there's a scratch on my floor but I'm sure that was plumber , I also think there is a wee drip coming from the new plumbing...do new pipes etc need time to 'seal' I suppose??

Goodness all I do is moan!!!!

isleS hope M is ok?

pass let me know what size you'd need for P

Em....don't remember what else I've read.

chasing London sound wonderful. I've never been and would love to go.

yw I'm sure j is ok but I understand the worry. I figure they'd do some more tests etc if they really were considering these things. Kids are ridiculously flexible anyways and with hypermobility I'm sure that has aggravated things. It's something I worried about with my kids due to my bendy joints.

PetiteRaleuse · 05/12/2013 22:20

I would query the scratches flouncy but not sure who with. The rest I don't know. Glad the cooker is working though. V important :)

Elizadoesdolittle · 05/12/2013 22:30

isles glad to read that M is ok. Hope she perks up soon. When they're such active little buggers it's hard when they get all lethargic.

yw gosh I knew J was wee but I too didn't realise there were any concerns with it. As the owner of a wee one myself I sympathise but I guess at least I know E has had pretty much every test under the sun so I no longer have those worries. Sending you positive weight vibes.

We have an appt with the dietician tomorrow so will see what plan of action there is next for us.

pr thanks for the horsey update. Glad E is coming along well.

Looks like we've had quite a few additions to the walker gang today. Yay all round.

chasing glad you had a ovely london trip.

flouncing I hated getting our kitchen done and will have to do it all over again when we move. Hope it's all sorted. Once you have a fully working fancy kitchen the nightmare of the fitting fades.

Think I'll call it a night. Stay safe all x

Elizadoesdolittle · 05/12/2013 22:33

flouncy Sorry I've just realised I always call you flouncing. I call flouncingisles isles so it's not like I'm getting you mixed up. Apologies.

flouncymcflouncerson · 05/12/2013 22:47

pr I'll say to the joiners when they come back on Monday as it was them that fitted the oven! the electrician just wired it up. Speaking to DH there he reckons it may have been electrician as he was using a stepladder to reach the spurs in the cupboard above the oven. The dishwasher spur was definitely off, I've just manovered myself into the cupboard beside it and reached round and eventually switched it on, yay!

eliza no worries! I answer to most things so what's a few extra letters between for friends! The kitchen is rather lovely, or it will be once I've ripped off the protective layer which is half on half off just now. The joiners recommended keeping it on til painter has been but he can't come til 18/19 dec!!!!

LuisGarcia · 06/12/2013 01:53

flouncy, two things. First, don't ever trust someone on the internet to fix everything, but second, one of the two careers I gave up for my 2 was as an electrician. I'm just reading the last few posts and you seem to have the electrical problem sorted but if you want my attention you just have to flag me down with a pm or something.

Pikz · 06/12/2013 05:56

Luis you truly are a superhero

Why will small person only sleep on me. It's like punishment for putting him in nursery or something...
