yw even for a post jab temperature that is quite high. Is he well in himself?

YellowWellies · 01/11/2013 15:58

No he's red, miserable, lethargic, off his food and screechy. Appointment isn't until 5.30 - grrr. Sad

PetiteRaleuse · 01/11/2013 16:11

:( sometimes they get a mini version of what they have been vaccinated against, DD1 had mini measles. It lasted a couple of days but her temp didn't get that high.

PetiteRaleuse · 01/11/2013 16:14

evil you will have subconsciously given off stronger confident vibes, this would explain his sudden change in behaviour. Abusers don't change, and can be very charming when they see their victim gaining in strength.

ChasingDaisy · 01/11/2013 16:32

Oscar just fed himself his milk for the first time ever Smile he took the bottle out of my hands and drank the whole thing himself Smile

PetiteRaleuse · 01/11/2013 17:08

pidj you asked me the other day about the missing woman in the Alps. I would love to help but it looks like they have local expats on the case. I'm not sure what I could do more to help. Will pm the OP and offer translation or whatever. We.re a long way from the Alps. My DSS lives there but he hasn't spoken to us for four years...

GTbaby · 01/11/2013 17:08

PP after H refused to eat his rice n curry he ate with me. Fish cake n beans. Yum yum.

GTbaby · 01/11/2013 17:14

Chasing that's great! We still feed H all three bottles. He won't even hold his sippy cup although , finally will suck the spout to get the water out.

ChasingDaisy · 01/11/2013 17:25

Pidj, Oscar loves fish fingers.

PetiteRaleuse · 01/11/2013 17:25

It's kind of sad when they start feeding the.sselves the milk.

Went out for my first walk today (in 5weeks). Just down to corner shop n back. Exhausted! Lol took H in pushchair.
Got to try going for a walk everyday as my SPD is still there n I suspect it's my lack of exercise Confused
Also got to get fit n loose all my baby fat!

Doing a lil dance with you evil Grin

Zamboni · 01/11/2013 18:53

Well done evil fab news. Well done for seeing the lawyer, meant to wish you luck today.

I was going to do the study too but not travelling from here for the appointment.

((((( sophia ))))) diary sounds good. Not the same at all but when I was at Uni and living away from home for the first time my mum sent me letters, cards and postcards all the time. At least weekly. It was sometimes a long chatty letter, sometimes just a postcard saying "love you". It was just such a lovely way of knowing I was loved and missed.

I have had a shitter of a day at work. Only on way home now and DC will be asleep when I get in. Dropped them at nursery at 0730 so long day without them. DH being a star, just really supportive while work is high pressured at the moment. so he is getting a curry and a shag tonight And although it has been shit it looks like I won't have to do too much tomorrow as at one point it looked like I was going to have to work all weekend. So tomorrow I mainly need to work out how to make a rocket and Penny-from-Fireman-Sam cake which DD assures me that S wants for his birthday TOMORROW!!!!

PurplePidjOrTreatin · 01/11/2013 19:00

Make a cake in a bowl, ice in yellow to make a helmet or buy a swiss roll, stick a barbie in one end and make a uniform out of ready-roll icing.

Evil yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! Thanks

PetiteRaleuse · 01/11/2013 19:01

Woah happy birthday s so glad you don't have to work gazelle

I think a diary is a great idea sophia recent issues have really made my heart break for you and please be safe in the knowledge that the quiche loves you and is with you.

evil I wasn't going to this evening but am going to have a look at my wine stock and open a good one for you. Well done, you rock :)

Passmethecrisps · 01/11/2013 19:04

I am really delighted for you evil. Genuinely chuffed. I can't wait to hear full details and pics.

That sounds miserable yw. Poor wee sausage. Glad you are getting seen though. P's temp didn't drop below that for 18 hours one weekend and she was in a really bad way. OOH GP was a total wank about it and made me feel like I was hysterical. "Fever is a good thing". Arse. I hope you got seen and all was well and now he is on his way to snoozing.

apple that sounds like an awful situation for everyone including the woman herself. She obviously isn't coping very well and the managers ignoring it is only making things worse. You would be right to tackle her about the issue as walking on egg shells is an awful environment to work in and total counter productive.

I love the name GT. Sorry H and A both had bad nights. I hope you get more rest tonight. How is the nip lash? Feeling better? How about the sore bot?

I love fish fingers, chips and beans pp and if I felt comfy giving p fish fingers (no egg) then I would be all over that dinner.

What should I buy my nephew for his birthday? Bearing in mind that my sister is a fan off fuss and I am not. P will get nothing or a book or maybe some flashy tat from sainsbury's if I cave because she giggles when she sees it (she lunged for a Minnie Mouse the other day. Mind you, she lunged for an onion in France).

ValiumQueen · 01/11/2013 19:06

Yay Evil!

Hope J is a lot less lobster-like now YW. That is impressive but all mine have beaten that and been fine so please do not worry. It is the speed that temp rises that is more significant than the temp itself with febrile convulsions. Hope the Dr was helpful.

Ace week at work. Have hated being away from my sick babies but I have really enjoyed it. I have been charged with a rather important project that can only be good for my prospects. After such a shit start I am quite surprised.

Finally got meds upped for J and a Paeds referral. Via the on-call doctor and a phone consultation. Crazy.

Passmethecrisps · 01/11/2013 19:06

And yy to all the hugs for sophia. Weirdly there is a point in my journey to work where every single day I could just swing the car round and go home to P. The thought of not being able to is Sad. I am, however, quite sure that the warmth of your love crosses the water no problems at all.

Passmethecrisps · 01/11/2013 19:08

Amazing vq! About fucking time someone listened to you. And I am delighted that work is starting to fall into place. Awesome awesome

YellowWellies · 01/11/2013 19:16

Down to 38.7c and happily tried to trash the doctor's consultation room Blush . Basically made a total liar out of us! Still am glad he's getting over it.

Evil yey! Here's to a new start and a childhood with emotional abuse fuckwittery for LO - he'll thank you for being so brave in the future and it will help him to better understand healthy relationships. xx

VQ all kinds of cool!

Madam tough day Sad
