Eliza I am a crazy Mcfly fan! I loved the wedding speech and I nearly cried at saw the pregnancy announcement last night Smile

Tonight I have learned that O can sleep through fireworks and bastard noisy neighbours.

ValiumQueen · 31/10/2013 21:43

Not sure I could manage 18 inches, but I would give it a damn good try.

I meant to say PR you are right, they would not choke. He had been lying on his back and there was gallons of the stuff. He looked like he had a face pack on. I had to suck the milky snot-vom from his nose which was delightful (notices a theme)

There seems to he a lot of hand foot and mouth around, and it does not seem to look like what you think it should IYKWIM.

ValiumQueen · 31/10/2013 21:46

We have had three sets of trick or treat people. Opened the door to one lot, all weans we recognised, but there were too lots I did not open the door to as I was dealing with boy. Hopefully my car and garden will be intact tomorrow.

PumpkinIsles · 31/10/2013 21:46

Still awake. Running around the coffee table banging stacking cups off anything and everything. Reckon I should try the car again?

ChasingDaisy · 31/10/2013 21:48

Pumpkin I read that as you still being awake and banging stacking cups on everything Grin sorry, that probably isn't very helpful.

PumpkinIsles · 31/10/2013 21:49

Haha it does read that way. My bad. She is now laughing at me and doing her weird pointy thing.

Pikz · 31/10/2013 21:50

Go to sleep little pumpkin... NOW!

horseylady · 31/10/2013 22:19

18 inches would be fine.

Vq - glad we both rock at ours jobs :) I'm amazing. Today I made a ghost and his it I various toilets around the department. I also started two major projects and a clinical trial.

Ds getting better. Slowly slowly. Still very rashly :( but better. No temp and no vom for two days!!!

applepieinthesky · 31/10/2013 22:21

evil shame about the house but there will be others. What about the second choice one? When is the landlord back from holiday?

I left the house for work at 8am this morning and just got home. My parents took C to the doctors at 5.30 and they sent him to the hospital to get a second opinion so I went straight there from work. It turns out it's probably just gastroenteritis but because it has been a week now and he is still very lethargic, the GP thought it was best to get him checked over by a paediatrician. They said all they would do if they admitted him would be put him on a drip and give him fluids, and seeing as he is taking fluids albeit very small amounts, I didn't see the point in putting him through all that upset. So they said to keep him in our room tonight and take him straight back if he's sick.

YellowWellies · 31/10/2013 22:22

Pumpkin sounds cute in a pulling your hair out way! Hope she tires herself out. What do you reckon it is? Just sheer delight to be up on her feet?

Lily311 · 31/10/2013 22:30

4th wake up. Wtf is wrong? She is so upset and loud, my back is a wreck from rocking her. Now having formula. I want to cry, I don't do wake ups well.

ValiumQueen · 31/10/2013 23:38

Oh Lilly I am sorry. I think they are all having a sleep regression. Is it teeth?

Well, guess what?

DD2 has just vomited everywhere.

GTbaby · 01/11/2013 00:31

Sry your having bad nights. Hope the babes are settled now. FC.

FH has decided he quite likes my first choice name. I've spent the last week convincing myself my 2nd choice was better. He has told me its up to me. What a prick.
I'm reluctant to change my mind, as he was a lil tipsy so may change his mind again tomorrow morning.

In bed unable to sleep. And now the name debate is spinning my head more.

GTbaby · 01/11/2013 00:37

Hmmm A seems to be getting a cold. He has got very snotty in the last hour.

ValiumQueen · 01/11/2013 01:32

And again. And a fever. And my tummy feels a tad dodgy. Fucksticks!

ValiumQueen · 01/11/2013 01:33

GT put it on FB and let the wisdom of the Quiche be your guide.

ValiumQueen · 01/11/2013 01:49

Both lovely names GT :-)

ValiumQueen · 01/11/2013 01:50

And a-fucking-gain. No denying she is proper poorly now.

LuisGarcia · 01/11/2013 02:09

We had one trick or treater. They got lucky. Next years will be told to choose a hand. One hand will contain chocolate, the other will contain chili crisps. Trick or treat, kemosabi.

ValiumQueen · 01/11/2013 04:20

Hi Luis. How are things?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 01/11/2013 06:14

Still on the 5 am wakings!

Girls went back to England on the last flight last night. I had to peel DD1 off me at the airport and even DD2 who normally gets on with it looked sad and ran back for another hug. I want my girls back. It's horrible. I just hope and pray that we will be back together again one day. Sad

There seems to have been a sick theme on the thread this half term.

Operation laundry today. I am a complete slattern when I have the girls as I would rather spend time with the kids and this time I didn't have evenings as I was doing grown up meals for us, the girls, and dad and his wife. Worked really well and was a very happy time. Stepmother behaved herself and it was good.

ValiumQueen · 01/11/2013 06:26

Oh Sophia xxx I came on here to moan about the fact DD1 has joined the vom party. But.... now I am just grateful I have the privilege of caring for them 24/7. I so feel for you x and I hope and pray one day you will have all your babies home permanently. I am so glad you all had a good time xxx

DH will be looking after the girls and I will come home if J joins in too. I am going to work with an hours sleep last night, on top of chronic sleep depravation. Is this right? Is this fair?

J slept all night in his cot and is still asleep. I checked regularly for vomit but so far there is none. Perhaps he has already had it this week? I honestly cannot say for sure he hasn't. Today I continue the fight for an answer.

Anyway peeps, it is Friday thank fuck. Hope it is a good one for us all x

Lily311 · 01/11/2013 06:46

I reckon we had altogether 6 hours sleep last night. I can see 6 teeth coming through? I mean that's just shit, she doesn't need all at the same time, does she? Any idea how to deal with sleep deprivation (hers) and teeth today?

Lily311 · 01/11/2013 06:47

And sophia, huge hugs! I can't imagine being away from O. You are so strong and yes, one day you will be together, xxx

Sophiathesnowfairy · 01/11/2013 07:06

vq you are ok for a grumble with the illness fest in your house! it must be so draining. Hope you have a good Friday.

lily there has to be a bonus though for getting it all over and done with rather than one tooth at a time over a long stretch? Though I understand your probably not feeling that this morning!

So today, apart from washing, I am going to go and get a couple of nice steaks for a quiet tea with DH. I am staying in my pjs till 9am and I will get the girls a couple of treats to send over.
