Happy birthday det sounds like you have a lovely day lined up. Sorry about your new clothes. That's how I feel about most of my clothes at the moment!

evil I echo what others have said. It is not an achievement for a grown man to do one load of washing. Even more so when you've needed to show him how to do it! Get that deposit down and leave him and his fat lazy arse behind!

Well I've survived half term, woop.

Evil - don't doubt yourself. Washing machine asside (because I could forgive that if he was otherwise a good'un) he has been undermining you for a long time and has said some things that I would find unforgivable. He has so sometimes sounded frighteningly nasty. You and n will be in a much better place without him. Go and pay that deposit.

Happy birthdays and get well soons all round. Dd recovered from her vom fest and the rest of us are unscathed. Hip scans rebooked for the week after next.

GTbaby · 04/11/2013 10:33

STATS LIST THREAD LINKEY

PetiteRaleuse · 04/11/2013 13:38

Some of you need to update your stats, especially those of you who stalked us lurked for a while... Wink

ChasingDaisy · 04/11/2013 14:06

I would update the list with Oscar's details but I'll probably get them wrong Hmm

Sophiathesnowfairy · 04/11/2013 14:31
Grin

So last night O climbed out of his walker and dived off the top at the kitchen cupboards, missed, land on head on floor. Cried.

Daddy confiscated the walker.

Today the HV was 1 hr late. I kid you not. I had no phone call to let me know of this tardyness. Cross was not the word.

He has dropped to. 25 centile. Confused he eats like a horse. She said it was because was more mobile. She said knock bottles on head and perhaps he will eat more. So just beaker of milk morning and night.

She has referred me for home start Hmm as is the only way to get to go to any of the sessions at the sure start centre as where I live is not in any sure start centres catchment. She said there was a session once a week of structured play that DS1 might like. I'm up for that. Need to start organising my week a bit better.

Anyway, all of kilter now as am out of my routine, never mind the boys!

PetiteRaleuse · 04/11/2013 14:57

Drank another can of red bull this lunchtime. Am hoping it wasn't the migraine trigger. Fx.

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/11/2013 16:35

Gosh, just took a peak at the stats list. I'd forgotten E's due date was the 12th. I told someone the other day it was the 11th! Guess that's better than forgetting her birthday, but to be honest I probably only remember that as its the day before mine Blush I regularly have to stop and think if DD1's is the 14th or 15th and I often get it wrong. DH always jokes moans that I don't know when his birthday is as whenever I fill in forms I often get it muddled up!

sophia hope o is ok.

lily we have the night before Xmas as well. But it's DD1's. she has lots of Xmas books so I bought E a peekaboo pop up Xmas book by usbourne as she loves books with flaps. Father Christmas needs a wee is a funny one for when they're older.

PurplePidjin · 04/11/2013 17:08

We've got That's Not My Angel, a v simple bible and I'll try to get The Snowman might bulk buy for all his little pals too

The Book Thief is brilliant btw

ChasingDaisy · 04/11/2013 17:29

Any signs of a migraine PR?

Pumpkin how did last night turn out in the end?

YellowWellies · 04/11/2013 17:45

Hello all! Happy birthdays to those I've missed.

I'm currently reading Ken Follett's 'Fall of Giants' - and loving it - I love historical fiction. His 'Pillars of the Earth' is fab too. Neither are especially challenging but he tells a good yarn. On my reading pile are 'Company of Liars', 'The Almost Moon' and the Merrily Watkins series - all recommended by pals with a similar taste in books.

Izzy don't go anywhere. Evil I second the view that a bloke doing the laundry is normal not good behaviour. Up your expectations. GT am in awe of your 2 DC organisation and patience with the ILs.

Pumpkin I'd be raging too. What sort of eejit has a go at a sitting dog - if A was sitting its none of his business if he was on a lead! Betsy is too bouncy to be off the lead much - I don't fancy running across Beveridge park with a buggy if she decides to 'play' - but her training is coming on well. As for M's sleep it's almost entering the realms of Izzy's J's extreme sleepdodging - is there any pattern with foods she's eating? Sad

Well we've gone from 0-8 teeth in a month. 4 this weekend. Coinciding with post jags fever (39.8c the new high Sad ) so not fab on top of a weekend away with lots of travel to see my Auntie with cancer. 3 wake ups both nights - am shattered. He was a total cling on / red hot fever bear too so am glad we're home. My Aunt is doing really well but has an op to remove the tumour and insert a temporary stoma whilst her bowel heals and then 24 weeks more chemo to look forward too. She's so tough she is carrying on as normal, no sympathy, I do wish she'd slow it down.

PetiteRaleuse · 04/11/2013 17:55

Nursery told me to take LO to the paed tomorrow and won't have her back til seen Hmm she is having precisely the same reaction to mmrv as DD1 did, coupled with eczema. It is not contagious and is not bothering her except when we take her vest off. I get them being cautious but other than maybe prescribing an anti histamine I don't see what the Dr will do. The post jab fever has gone and I think the rash has improved, but they say it's got worse. Ffs. Anyway their choice so have taken an appointment for tomorrow. I will get the paed to write them a suitably scathing note.

PetiteRaleuse · 04/11/2013 18:00

No migraine yet. Last week's was 24 hours later. If that is the trigger I hope I don't spend tomorrow puking at the paed's office. Ffs.

I am not in a good mood AT ALL. It's not an uncommon reaction. Happens to c. 5% of kids. Appeared 9 days after the jab. They say it would have been instant. No it wouldn't.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 04/11/2013 18:09

He is fine thanks eliza his fall was sort of broken by the side of the walker so he folded up over it before he hit the floor. It slowed him down somewhat. Laughing and giggling before long as always!

Any lesser spotted migraine pr ?

I have just bought Dear Santa and the Snowman and the Snow dog. Do I save them till Christmas Day or give them as Christmas Eve Pressies with the pjs I will purchase for Christmas Eve Cosiness?

Lily311 · 04/11/2013 18:09

Oh, I want to be on that stats list. Can someone add me? Due date 23/11. Arrived 20/11. Olivia Rose, London, now Hungary, 8lb 1oz

I forgot about the snowman! That's a sweet one.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 04/11/2013 18:11

That sounds poo with the MMR. The HV said that the paperwork for Os won't reach the DRs for a few weeks and I could phone and see if they will book him in regardless. I said I will defo try that as I don't want him reacting all over
Christmas. If they say no I might leave it till after.

Jims · 04/11/2013 18:15

Loving the book recommendations at the min as my kindle has just run out. Although i do still have gone girl and the book thief in proper book shapes to tackle next. I have such a short attention span though at the moment - but keeping that quiet at work!

Happy birthdays to the newly 1s. Hope they all had lovely days.

PR - ds1 had a cracker of a rash about a week after his mmr, we were told v normal reaction. Not looking forward to F having his.

F had his first full day at nursery today. It sounds like he was much cheerier in the afternoon - which is a big relief.

And in other news, one of my has felt really sore the last few days. Had major shivers last night and wondered if it could be mastitis but only had v small red spots appear and it was never over full at any point. F's down to 2 feeds per day so am trying to use that side first but thankfully felt alright thismorning

PetiteRaleuse · 04/11/2013 18:20

The reaction has hardly bothered her. A couple of bad nights, slight fever over the weekend but about 37.3 max so v slight. A clingy sleep dodging day where she is also teething. Other than the rash they wouldn't have noticed. It's just scared them. Ffs there are two nurses on staff I can't believe they don't know about this reaction. They literally didn't believe me when I said reactions were often delayed by ten days and that dd1 had had the same reaction. They are good with the kids but sometimes they make me feel like a shit mum for not being worried enough about everything.

Pikz · 04/11/2013 18:27

Worried about L having a rash on his cheeks and chin. I think it's eczema can they get that from teething and rubbing snot into their face? What's the best thing to put on it? X

ChasingDaisy · 04/11/2013 18:29

Pikz, the first thing I would try is Aveeno and a layer of Vaseline.
