You should be extremely proud of yourself evil. I like both houses and I think either could be made lovely. What about furnishing? White goods? What about proximity to your mum? Poor her. It never rains but it pours, eh?

BigPigLittlePig · 29/10/2013 21:50

Well done evil - both lovely little houses for you and N to call home. I do love the kitchen in the 2nd though!

Passmethecrisps · 29/10/2013 22:04

Not seen it vq but know what one you mean. Weirdly when I called DH to say I had bashed the car a few weeks ago he told me that since becoming a dad he had realised that "shit like cars didn't matter". He said it in such a heartfelt way it made me weepy. I am also certain that none of the seven bp was talking about would be thinking "fuck that fucker who scratched my car". Why waste the energy.

I don't have any stuff like you require vq and it is a desperate shame that you feel the need.

ChasingDaisy · 29/10/2013 22:18

Evil you should feel so proud of yourself. I am incredibly impressed. My flat is teeny tiny but it has become mine and Oscar's safe haven. Your life starts here Smile

YellowWellies · 29/10/2013 22:20

I luffs Pay it Forward. One of my favourite films.

Evil they both look like promising wee homes to start your new life. Well done Mrs you're being so brave and inspirational for N Smile

As a non-driver I have to confess to not getting the great store and often emotional attachment some folks set about a box of metal with wheels. Road rage too is just unfathomable to me.

Pass that good deed has definitely put the universe on your side for a while Smile .

Right I'm off for an early night x

YellowWellies · 29/10/2013 22:22

VQ want a loan of a vom-scoffing furry carpet cleaner? She's very good with kids Smile Poor J and poor you.

Happy birthday for tomo LilyWine

Elizadoesdolittle · 29/10/2013 23:03

vq One of the things I have just never understood is peoples inability to treat other adults at work with basic trust and respect. I am an adult, you employed me to do this role, trust me enough to let me do it to the best of my ability. People that have power issues (as your new boss clearly does) just really get on my wick to put it midly.

lily Happy birthday for tomorrow.

Evil Both look like lovely little homes. You are doing awesomely if that's actually a word.

In gross random other news, just had my first visit from af since E was born. Guess it means my bf journey is coming to an end. I know having a period doesn't necessarily mean you stop bf but E quite often skips either the morning or evening bf now (which are the only ones she's had for about 3 months) so it's no surprise.

applepieinthesky · 29/10/2013 23:26

evil you are doing so well. Both houses are nice and can be made into a lovely home for you and n.

lily have an awesome day tomorrow

C is still poorly. Lots of diarrhoea, tiredness and he is being very clingy. I changed him earlier and he put his fingers in it so it went everywhere Confused I'm home again tomorrow and if he's not better by Thursday/ Friday my mum will take him back to the doctors. I took a sample into the hospital today as well so they can retest to see if he's still lactose intolerant.

Pikz · 30/10/2013 04:58

Evil you are doing amazingly. Both houses look lovely for you and N.

Happy birthday lily

VQ I am shocked and appalled at the way you have been treated. It's awful. It's one thing to ask if you and your partner can share the load of a ill child. Quite another to say you need a nanny etc awful.

Ill baby and ill mummy again here. I hate winter bugs.

Lily311 · 30/10/2013 05:04

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Gosh, it's hard to believe that I'm 34. The best present I got so far was from my little girl who is still in bed. Awake and chatting but in bed. After 3 days of waking at 4.30 this is just a dream.

I forgot to tell you about a delivery driver yest. I ordered a heavy thing and he called me that he was delivering it at 3 and whether I could help him taking it off his lorry. I said no, it was 75 kilos, I was not going to damage my back, this was the reason I ordered online. He called me back to buy a beer and chocolate for his friend who will help him deliver it. I was speechless but managed to say no. And I didn't tip him either after this. Would you complain to the company I ordered it from? The website clearly says home delivery, no mention about helping the driver.

So I'm celebrating my birthday by going to social services to complain about O's lawyer and demand that they sort something out so I can register her as a Hungarian citizen. Hahaha. I'm in a feisty mood today.

Lily311 · 30/10/2013 05:22

In bed till 6.15 Grin. I'm ridiculously happy.

Zamboni · 30/10/2013 06:27

lily did O have a word with S? He stayed in his cot until 6amShockShockShockShock I'm not sure he has ever done that before. After weeks of 4-something, this is bliss!!

And yes, complain about the delivery driver, that is weird.

bp Bedtime sounds so lovely.

evil both look great. Well done, it's a big but v positive step.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 30/10/2013 06:51

Morning All.

A moment of, almost, quiet!

Happy birthday lily I hope it is a good one. How lovely to snuggle under the covers for a bit longer this morning. Cake

evil you are being so brave I am In awe of you and chasing and now organised and level headed you have been even though you must be churning inside. Like the others say, both those places look great, I think though maybe smaller the better to begin with. Is cosier for you and
N. Big hugs.

vq I too think I would be bubbling under if I were you. Is good that she is putting it in writing though as you can decided to deal with it as and when and you have got the evidence. She sounds like a bellend to me and the line she is beginning to take sounds very much against current policies. She better be careful.

Poo to illness pikz hope you feel better soon.

The breakfast shifts are starting so I will catch up later! I have actually been doing a buffet style breaks this week while everyone is here, plates of bacon and toast and tomatoes to help selves. Cereals on the table and I will do a poached egg, and a poached egg only, to order. Is great and makes feeding the 5000 relatively easy! Confused

StuntedFrankenNun · 30/10/2013 07:09
