Pass Alwick and Barnard Castle are lovely too. It's a lovely part of the world.

ChasingDaisy · 24/10/2013 22:02

Haha, I didn't go to any special effort today. Saving that for date guy Wink

ChasingDaisy · 24/10/2013 22:03

Ooh pass that sounds lovely and romantic!

GTbaby · 24/10/2013 22:13

Just lost an epic post Hmm
For best. It was a bit self indulgent in a fml way

GTbaby · 24/10/2013 22:20

And on a separate self indulgent note. I have never weighed as much as I do now. Sad Need to start thinking about weight loss.

ChasingDaisy · 24/10/2013 22:25

GT you have given birth to two babies within the space of a year - you are bloody superwoman! Your body has done amazing things. Now is not the time to be thinking about weight loss.

horseylady · 24/10/2013 22:33

I've met no one. I need to sort myself out!!!! Fly up to haggisland and anywhere lol

Elizadoesdolittle · 24/10/2013 22:39

Big happy birthday to J for tomorrow. vq I hope you get a good nights sleep and have a lovely day tomorrow.

gt You have two babies under the age of one, it really is no surprise that yu weigh more than you have ever weighed. You are bf too, it really is not the time to be worrying about your weight. There is plenty of time for that. Let your body recover for a bit first.

pr Am Shock at the way your nursery behaved towards you. What on earth did they think you could do with DD1. Weirdos!

chasing In case I don't get round to it have a fab date on Saturday. Is O completley better now?

pass sounds lovely and just up my street. Would love to do something like that but will have to wait a while as have a lot of babysitting booked in for the next couple of months. Don't want to take the piss too much.

I have a hen do on Saturday night and then have to be in church for 9.30am on sunday morning. Yikes! Was considering giving the church service bit of the christening a miss and just going to the celebrations after but since I'm going to be godmother that will be a touch rude Grin. Am looking forward to both events but boy I wish they were at different weekends. Gaining an extra hour from the clocks changing could be my saving grace, as long as I don't use that as an excuse to stay out for an extra hour!

PurplePidjOrTreatin · 24/10/2013 23:15

MM you said what i was trying to. I only know the stuff you've said about the time he was being utterly vile to you. I don't feel i can have an opinion now. I was, clumsily, trying to offer support without judgement and I'm sorry i didn't manage to get that across.

Kyz you need watermelon, cupcakes, salami slices, icecreams, apples, pears, plums etc served on the green leaf platters that go with the jungle themed party on partypieces et al.

Sophia there's a dadsnet bit on here. It's woefully neglected!

I'm going out for dinner tomorrow. With my mate and her friends, girls only. She "eloped" (they buggered off to the register office with a couple of mates and announced it afterwards) in the summer so this is her Hen Do. I'm ridiculously excited at wearing Real Clothes, make up if i can find it and Doing My Hair Blush might even see if my sexy non-feeding bras still fit!

I haven't met a quichester, think Madam and Tits might be my nearest, both a whole county away Sad

PurplePidjOrTreatin · 24/10/2013 23:17

Eliza one of R's godparents was ill, he still got the certificate etc despite being at home in bed with whooping cough plus complications :)

MadameGazelleIsMyMum · 25/10/2013 05:19

S woke at 4.30 and head butted me. He's fine but I have a bleeding mouth and fat lip!!

kyz I'm certain we'd all love you. I am going to be in the east midlands between Xmas and new year if you and horsey want to meet? pidj, remind me where you are - I hadn't clocked that you might be close.

Happy birthday to VQs J.

pass nice to have something to look forward to!

PetiteRaleuse · 25/10/2013 05:48

Thanks vq Flowers and happy birthday to the valiumprince Cake

37.3 this morning. In two minds over what to do with her

PetiteRaleuse · 25/10/2013 06:01

Ooh gone down to 36.6. Yay. I love my wave it round the head thermometer thing. Means I can take loads of readings and do averages over time periods. Which is utterly pointless but satisfies my inner nerdiness.

StuntedFrankenNun · 25/10/2013 06:07

Hello Auntie Flo, that's a BFN then.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 25/10/2013 06:40

pr I have visions of you like the fairy godmother in Cinderella waving your thermometer around Grin

stunt disappointed or no? At least another few weeks of. Wine

Any weather gurus out there...why the fuck does there have to be a super storm when my big babies are flying over to see me. Please hope with me that the interesting wether stays south of the midlands on Monday morning.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 25/10/2013 06:41

Weather.

PurplePidjOrTreatin · 25/10/2013 06:53

Madam you're Devon iirc? I'm the opposite side of Dorset :) not particularly close but closer than Jockland Wink

R slept 6-6 with a nappy at 1. Dp is off to Essex to collect a car, so I'm up with R. Why couldn't he pick today to have a lie in?! He's eaten a weetabix, a fruit pot and is half way through a slice of toast; do i need to worry about obesity and overeating?

PetiteRaleuse · 25/10/2013 07:50

Fingers crossed sophia re the weather. No way you can change their fflights to come earlier?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 25/10/2013 08:13

I'm not sure pr think would have to pay to change. They are on the first flight out on from Birmingham on Monday morning, as long as they get out they will be fine, landing should be ok, not forecast to be as bad here. Looks like most of the weather is south, I just hope the worse is they get delayed a. It. Ah well, we will see how things transpire over the weekend.

PetiteRaleuse · 25/10/2013 08:29

I have a quiche question. What accents do you speak with? I read out everyone's posts in my head with different voices but all in received pronunciation (sorry Haggisers) and it has just crossed my mind that we don't all speak the same. I'm a Lancashire/ rp hybrid, in that my natural voice is Lancashire but since living abroad it has poshified.

MadameGazelleIsMyMum · 25/10/2013 08:43

Good point PR. I'm very RP with a slightly Devonian twang from time to time (but still a grockle/foreigner as not born here) but have been accused of having had elocution lessons and I am apparently "posh" sounding on the telephone.

sophia fingers crossed for your girls making it over.

pidj not sure I realised that but you are correct. Are you anywhere near the A303? We drive that way when visiting family in London so might be passing for a meet?

ChasingDaisy · 25/10/2013 08:44

I have a bit of a non descript accent really. Bit of Home Counties with a slight bit of Northants thrown in - which is a very diluted midlands accent.

MsJupiterJones · 25/10/2013 08:50

Happy birthday ValiumPrince!

StuntedFrankenNun · 25/10/2013 09:01

I have no idea what accent I have after free years in Sarf London, fifteen oop North in Stockport hen, eight years noo in Scotland and eleven in Norn Iron for feck's sake. Actually can anyone that has met me in rl tell me what accent I have?

ChasingDaisy · 25/10/2013 09:11

Happy Birthday J!

I has a massive spot on my face this morning! This is a disaster! Toothpaste and tea tree oil it is.
