Kitty ~ I know. I want a baby too Grin
Baby pear just got very cross with me when he saw me cuddle a 8 week old little girl. I've never seen him like that. He gave me a look as if to say "Mummy how could you, I thought you said I'm your one and only baby!"

Frus ~ your neighbours sound like a friendly bunch Shock

bringonthetrumpets · 22/01/2014 16:20

URck, why do babies have to grow teeth anyways, huh? They are such a PITA and a drooling crazy-cranky baby is just miserable to deal with. M was a monster yesterday and woke up 3 times last night. Oh my life. I hope the teeth leave her alone today at least.

I'm sorry baby pear just isn't getting the sleep memo. So, so frustrating. It's one thing when they are newborns, but this is a whole new game when they are refusing to sleep! I hope you guys find a system that works for you! No sleep is no joke in the parenting world.

Hahah frus Nice neighbors!

Oh good, I'm not the only one experiencing baby fever again!

peardrop2 · 22/01/2014 16:58

Frus ~ how many teeth has baby F got now? Are we all up to 2? Baby pear has the two bottom ones

Bring ~ thanks. I really shouldn't be surprised with mixture of bad nights and good nights. It does feel like there are more bad then good at present! When baby pear was tiny I remember drawing sad and happy faces on the calendar to give me some perspective on just how many bad nights we got.

I think we're going to need to trade this one in for a bigger model if we're all going to be getting broody again... Except Frus because she's sensible! I reeeeally want a ickle baby! They're just so cute & squidgy & warm & snuffly... Can anyone tell I spent most of yesterday packing away all the clothes Runt has grown out of?! Blush AF due any day now & I'm kinda hoping it doesn't come & that the last one was actually just the heaviest implantation bleeding ever! That would be a bad idea though. Bad. Bad. Bad. DH seems pretty set on only having 2. I really don't think I'm done though so hopefully I can talk him round in a few years. Definitely not the right time now. I want a baybeeeee! Wink

We still don't have any teeth but he rolled over for the first time just over a week ago & didn't do it again until yesterday. He's now unstoppable & every time we put him down he flips within 2 minutes. He can't get back though so just lies there doing a good seal impression & squawking until someone turns him back... then he does it all again! Bless! It wouldn't surprise me if he learnt to crawl quickly now - he's already spinning himself around trying to grab things! Calf was later than most with his rolling/sitting/teething though so I'm not bothered!

I think it's because I love kitten so much and don't want her to get older is why I want another, she keeps getting bigger and bigger but she's just so adorable! She's a real snuggler and also I don't want to go back to work, I'll miss them so much Hmm
Agnu tiger was slow with rolling/ sitting etc but she walked before she was 1, kitten has been quick and is definatly almost crawling, she's good at spinning too!
My dh wants only 2 aswell so I may have to wait a few years to persuade

Pear aslong as baby pear is not ill go for it, it will just be habit now and that he enjoys cuddles lol

peardrop2 · 22/01/2014 21:20

Kitty ~ yeah that's my hunch. That's why I call him my koala Grin His reflux has completely gone now. I won't stay in the room this time but I will go back every so often to check he's OK...each time leaving it longer and longer. I know it's going to break my heart but his day time naps are so few now that I can't even book anymore music classes for him to enjoy as he's just fighting sleep in the car, on me and even sometimes in the pram. This week he's been so bad with it I've noticed its effected his appetite so I just have to keep remembering that long term he will really benefit from learning to sleep on his own day and night...not to mention the health benefits!

kittykatsforever · 22/01/2014 21:37

It's true pear and if kitten is tired she becomes so distressed she will claw and pull her hair screaming and that's just from a small daytime nap!
If it helps of those I know who have used CIO it has GENUINLY been accomplished in 2 nights so while hard it is quick but will be painful. It won't stop him loving you and he will still be a koala in the day Grin

more babies? You're all mad. I'm still getting used to this one!

peardrop2 · 22/01/2014 22:36

Hah hah Lor! Frus I am green with envy over your bath. I should be in the bath...definitely tomorrow. Now I can have night baths as b pear isn't next to the bathroom anymore...yay for that! Smile

Kitty ~ thanks for the support. I'll keep you posted on how it goes I'm sure. I'll be turning to you in my weakest hours Grin

peardrop2 · 22/01/2014 22:38

Frus ~ it's not that I'm loosing them. Baby pear is desperate to sleep and sending out the rubbing eyes cue right on schedule but he fights it so badly because he doesn't want to sleep on his own or doesn't know how to.

bringonthetrumpets · 23/01/2014 04:19

Oh dear. M stayed home with her papa for an hour while I went out for a doula interview and she screamed the whole time. This isn't looking good for actually getting out of the house to get shiz done.

Hopefully she forgives me and sleeps through tonight.

peardrop2 · 23/01/2014 07:26

Bring ~ are you a doula too? That's hard for you both (and DH) :-( I find it is always the hour that I have to leave that goes wrong Hmm Sod's law isn't it! Do you think she sensed you had gone? Teething hour?

Night 3 was better. Gave baby pear his dreamfeed at 11. He went down at 11:40 and woke at 3:20 clockwork child then went back to sleep at 4 and woke at 6:30am. Hopefully in time he will go back to waking at 7 Shock

kittykatsforever · 23/01/2014 07:27

God frus 6 months and no naps Shock is that because of her meds?? It's seems incomprehensible! Tiger still occasionally has one ( 2hrs yesterday) would have had more if I'd let her and she's almost 2 and a half
Bring- was that because she's used to just you? I'm worried kitten will be the same as she's cried sometimes when others are holding her and she sees me. I'd hate for her to be distressed when I have to leave her Hmm my start date back is 5th feb but taking all my leave Untill 1st April then can phase myself in but eventually will be 4 long days again Hmm
When is everyone else back?

Can somebody tell me where the "OFF" button is on this baby? She's been moaning and groaning since 3 am this morning. Poor lamb has a cold and is a little booger factory but COME ON.

Excuse my French, but HOLY SHIT FRUS. 6 hours every couple of days ??? Wow. I now have absolutely no room to complain. I am your humble servant Mrs. Frusso.

Yeah kitty I definitely think it's an attachment thing. Which is great, it's the way she's supposed to act.... but it's heartbreaking and DH feels really bad and stressed out that he can't fix it for her wrapped around her little finger We will just have to keep at it and get her used to being with someone else other than me.

Yes pear I am a doula as well. It's not my favorite because I've seen some pretty horrible stuff happen in hospitals but it brings in money.

Bring my munchkin has the same as youHmm I've had moaning all day Andy head is frazzled I know it's not her fault but god she wouldn't let me put her down for a second while awake and tiger has reverted back to copying her and whining and making baby noises wanting me to pick her up too as she basically can't express that she wants attention aswell

peardrop2 · 23/01/2014 22:18

When does the clingy age bugger off?

Frus ~ how the hell do you survive? Shock You definitely deserve a no sleep medal!!

peardrop2 · 23/01/2014 22:19

Bring I wish you had been my doula when baby pear arrived Grin

peardrop2 · 23/01/2014 22:22

Oh I brought that sticky blackout blind for the window and DH put it up tonight. Please please please stay asleep until 7am GrinGrinGrin
