I'd love to have seen the boys looking like little Eskimos, so cute!
I can't seem to satisfy kittens hunger, it's like if she's awake she's hungry and would happily be fed or have something in her hand the whole time, yesterday we had a whole egg, a breadstick a bowl of pear and raspberry then went mad when I put her down until she got picked up and indicated in the usual fling my head at your breasts manner that she wanted milk too
Frus kitten doesn't roll but kicks with her legs really hard which catches me quite often

Urgh. I do not cope well with disturbed nights. Runt has taken to waking at some point between 3&6. I've been feeding him in bed before sending him off with DH for a bottle when he still won't settle the past few nights but at 5.40 this morning I decided to give DH a break so somehow ended up with Runt snoozing in the pram & me not sleeping on the sofa until gone 8! Calf woke up too but DH did a nappy & everyone else was back to sleep within minutes. Would it be bad for me to sleep in the spare room until DH goes back to work? Tis only fair, right?! Wink Shock

bringonthetrumpets · 31/12/2013 14:44

I feel for ya agnu. M was up every 2 hrs again last night shouting the house down if I tried to let make her settle herself. No shame in taking the empty room!! I would do it if DH didn't get so offended Sad Do you get a nap in today at all?

Haha yes kitty! M totally kicked me in the crotch the other day when I was trying to change her on the floor. Hurt like a mother! DH said that she was trying to get back in Hmm

There is a pic on my fb wall of the eskimo boys. It's -10 today, I might make them go out again if it gets to chaotic again.

Anyone doing something fun tonight? I'm totally going to bed before 12!

I made it to midnight! Off to bed now. Smile

kittykatsforever · 01/01/2014 07:19

I was in bed at 10:15 too frus!
Happy new year ladies x

peardrop2 · 01/01/2014 09:55

Happy new year x I was in bed by 11 too Blush We watched the fireworks at breakfast time!

Has anyone got a biter? Now that we have two bottom teeth baby pear is biting our shoulder when he's teething/frustrated or tired. It hurts! I think he understands when we say no though because he stops after that.

I am soooo grateful that he only woke at 1:30 and 4 last night. Much better than the previous nights... waking every 2 hours like Bring's M, Urgh!

I've discovered how to get baby pear to nap longer then 30 minutes in the day. Put him on my side of the bed. He's been sleeping for 1.5 hours. Not a good habit is it Blush

peardrop2 · 01/01/2014 11:35

Frus - dare I ask why?

peardrop2 · 01/01/2014 12:47

Hmm he slept for 2 hours in the end! Woke up for lunch Grin brilliant appetite. Had chicken risotto and pear and yoghurt.

bringonthetrumpets · 01/01/2014 14:40

Happy new year ladies! We had some friends over and ended up staying up until 1 instead of going to bed at 10 like we had planned. The kids played together and actually all stayed up until it was time to go. Now my kids look like they're hung over and it's hilarious!

Ruh-oh, we found another house to go look at. It's a stunner. In my mind, we've already moved in!

What's happened Frus?

We tried Runt & Calf with asparagus the other day. There was a sale in Tesco & DH went a bit mad with fancy veg! Runt enjoyed his, Calf not so much! Definitely worth giving it a go - it's perfect for little hands!

Awww talking already! How cute! Wink My 10mo niece says all sorts of things - very varied vocab that one... so long as you have one of her parents around to interpret the "arr-ahhh-arrr-a-bah-bah" as "I want the baby"... Grin

Oh my frusso our DHs must be brothers from another mother b/c mine was being a total LLCUSMSD too! He went all belligerent on me last night and accused me of sleeping with his friend all of 7 years ago (for the record, this friend is really gross and sooooooooo not attractive at all), fessed up to reading all of my facebook messages to people, went off on a tangent about how I don't appreciate his job and how he's just going to quit so that I don't have a house anymore ( Hmm ) after I asked him to just give me a break and try to rock the baby to sleep. I slept in the guest bed with M. It was ridiculously cold in that room, but worth not having to sleep next to that pile of shit in my own bed.

What's going on with all your men atm?! Is there some kind of virus going round? Do I need to quarantine DH to make sure he stays sane? [scared] Maybe we should 'quarantine' all men in special 'facilities' & only let them out when we want them for something... Y'know, to protect them from the spread of this weird virus! Wink

bring maybe you could send your DH over here & we could get him together with Frus's DH & bang their heads together! Or, 'quarantine' them together in a cellar somewhere until they agree to be nice.

I may have watched too much Eastenders recently while having depression which tends to make me a little... erm... Eastender-y in my response to most situations! "If I don't like you, I'll lock you in a cellar." Solves a lot of problems! Grin
