I did it. Yay Grin I mostly got long t-shirts 12-18mth, short t-shirts 12-18mth, a few hoodies and a few trousers (some I will return). I got two sets of sleepsuits size 9-12mth. Why did I do that? He's 7 month already! Frus I spent nearly the same as you, £220. It was all half price though and I came out with 4 large bags! DH is not so excited Sad

AGnuMasqueradingAsAReindeer · 26/12/2013 09:11

Morning Crazy Ladies! Wink We've only just woken up! DH & Calf are reading one of his many new books on the bed & Runt is chatting to his giraffe. We slept until 8.30. I do not understand this getting up at stupid o'clock to go shopping. I hate shopping when I've had lots of sleep, let alone at 6am when it involves queuing & loads of other people!

AF! No baby! Tiny bit disappointed! Blush

peardrop2 · 26/12/2013 11:44

Aww Agnu, maybe for the best? Did you tell DH or is he blissfully unaware?

I've just been sleeping for 1 hour and feel worse then when I went to bed Blush feel jet lagged. In laws are coming in 1 hour...YAY crap Grin

Yeah Frus I got a blue one (9-12 and 12-18) that said Next something something and a navy blur one with a tiny red fire engine in the corner. Oh also got 2 pairs of beige trousers the same size and 3 fire engine t-shirts the same size. I clearly forgot what I was grabbing Blush

Agnu ~ I'm not a fan of early morning shopping either but as baby pear is waking up for food in the night I thought this year I should take advantage and just go for it as I'm up anyway! Also, I'm spending way too much on his clothes recently and since I am about to stop receiving maternity pay I felt it was essential to stock up for the summer. I will definitely go again next year. I am lucky we have a new superstore with a large car park!

bringonthetrumpets · 26/12/2013 14:14

Man you ladies are crazy! But glad you got some loot out of the whole ordeal. Wink

Aww agnu. Does that mean that you're thinking of maybe another?

M was a very happy little lassie last night getting to sleep in my bed the whole time. She was so overwhelmed and poorly yesterday. She wouldn't let anyone else hold her and cried whenever I took her out of the wrap... it was very heartbreaking that she felt so crap on her first Christmas! She seems to be feeling a little better this morning as she's laying on the floor with her toys, but she seems on the edge already.

Looks like the worst is over.

How was everyone's boxing day?

peardrop2 · 27/12/2013 08:06

Sounds horrible bring. Glad to hear she's over the worst Thanks

Now that baby pears front tooth has cut through he's teething like a koala on drugs. How long does it take for the whole tooth to appear? Going to ask Mr G!

I was hyped up all of yesterday after my crazy sales trip. My PIL were over for lunch. They were tired and slightly Christmased out. Must remember to see them on Eve or Day next year! It would work better if we had Boxing Day to ourselves.

kittykatsforever · 27/12/2013 08:33

Manic Boxing Day for us, have everyone over to mine so around 27Shock no joke!!! It was spread about abit but on average 10 guests atleast all day not including me dh and kittens, oh no another 3 people I forgot, that's 30!!
I did the next sale too, tiger woke me up at 5:50, she went back to sleep but I couldn't so went at 6:30 but still had to quel an hour and didn't get that much Hmm my most dissapointed hual so far but they don't actually need anything and the bits I got were cute, kitten abit better today but the last two nights were bad and she looked like Rudolph on Xmas day too, she's normally do happy and she looked so sad and just wanted cuddles all day fx were past the worst
I'd have been msg you in the cue but left phone at parents Confused

kittykatsforever · 27/12/2013 18:19

bringonthetrumpets · 27/12/2013 18:32

I know, little frus crusin but not sitting she just started yesterday, not sure why or who she's copied but she's doing it a lot now, it was so funny this morning as we had a total in contex fluke, dh was laughing at her and said are you clapping your hands at me and she just said "yeah" clear as day! we both burst put laughing as it was just one word so clear, sure just a coincidence but you couldn't have staged it! She is quite vocal though and makes a lot of ma ma ms and da da da but not sure it's in context iyswim

I'm not sure Frus Is there another hearing test that he could take at this point? Does he respond to his name or loud noises? I'm sure that with one child who is deaf, you would be able to get in to see a specialist sooner.

So far we are still sitting and happily not rolling around the room, but then again she is still only just 6 months old. She seems completely uninterested in food again so we're off that too. I'm trying to enjoy this non-mobile, non-messy stage as long as possible!

kittykatsforever · 28/12/2013 06:26

Frus I don't remember tiger being vocal at this age, it took her ages to say mummy or anything like I think kitten is very quick, I'm sure you'd have noticed if anything was really amiss having lived with it, the main thing kitten responds to is if like bring says she hears a loud noise or you call her name
She's no where near the cruising stage, if you lift her on to her legs they look like they don't belong to her lol

What finally caused the diagnosis frus? Was it talking or lack of?
I'm sure as you have got it in the family they will be extra vigilant with baby frus or atleast they will do tests for your piece of mind?
