Nutella I didn't get that rush of love with dd for ages. I can't remember when it came but it did Smile

Ds' operation will be in 2/3 months. All seems quite straight forward just a shame it's so far away Hmm

SpookyTeacakes · 25/10/2013 20:00

I need stuff to do in London tomorrow! We're going to the V&A and covent garden. Might go to dinner at south bank is there anywhere nice? I need mamapo! I wanted dp to take me up the shard ShockWink but tickets have sold out..

WLmum · 25/10/2013 20:06

Tons of nice places spotty depending what you like.

I am exhausted. Just going to finish feeding T then quick tidy and a cuppa and bed. I've administered a pre-emotive nurofen as I suspect teeth are a contributing factor to the bad nights. Grant me the strength to persevere with night weaning!

WLmum · 25/10/2013 20:08

spotty what about getting tickets for the comedy store or stand bys for the globe or any show really! Saw Mathilda before T was born which was ace (bday treat from DH) and the lion king is always amazing. The woman in white also brill.

WLmum · 25/10/2013 20:18

I had to pop T in the ergo tonight as the big 2 were trying to watch a DVD and T turned it off 4 times! She's a pesky toerag!

Barbeasty · 25/10/2013 20:23

The steroids are certainly making feel as though I have more energy, but I've got next week off and I'm looking forwards to resting a bit.

We've got A's underwater photo shoot tomorrow (I know, swimming with suspected mild pneumonia). Hoping to use that and their nursery photos as Christmas presents for grandparents.

Glad the hospital went well Spotty. But boo to no goat!

Despite making me more alert, fx A seems to go down better now I'm on steroids. And slightly less biting!

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 25/10/2013 20:24

Snigger at up the chard :childish: What op is DS having Spotty, I'm sorry if you've explained loads of times, my memory is shot.

I've pre-emptively calpoled WL as my mum spotted 2 teeth trying to pop through today.

I'm being a judgey judgerson today. One of DP's schoolfriends has a 5 week old baby that she's started "Ginaing" today. She posted a status about how she was feeling guilty and pacing the landing while he cried in his cot. Loads of people came on and said "Oh it has to be done", "For his own good", etc. It made me so sad, I always thought I'd be a tough mum, but I'm such a softie.

DS has been asleep over an hour Halloween Shock and it's still 2 hours until DP will be in. It's okay though, I have Wine.

DSiL is making me laugh on FB, she and DP's DB have been engaged 1 week and she's already viewed 3 venues! She's now put on her status that she's fed up of wedding planning and feels like going to Gretna Green. I feel a massive bridezilla in the making Halloween Grin. I shall have to keep mn updated!

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 25/10/2013 20:25

DS taped Ben and Holly today by playing with the V+ box WL. They're such monkeys!

utopian99 · 25/10/2013 20:25

Good luck WL, might suggest dh takes me up the shard one day too spotty Wink…

nutella I didn't have a rush of love for weeks - in my case I think it was more a quite fierce feeling of protectiveness when he was little, and now it's like having a tiny best friend. One who burps loudly with superb comedy timing and giggles hysterically when the dog licks his hand. basically like when we were students again

lazzaroo · 25/10/2013 20:25

Keep checking in but don't always get around to posting. Sounds like some torturous nights are being had. Makes me think maybe things are aren't so bad...am still bloody knackered mind. We are having 1 or 2 wakes up & starting the day at 5ish. She's usually asleep by 6.45pm though. Am dreading the clock change!

WL I also gave some cautionary medicine tonight. Baby lazza has 4 top teeth at varying stages of eruption! She looks a bit odd! (in a cute, wonky smile kind of way!). Hope your night goes ok. I am still too weak (& knackered!) to night wean.

Off to in-laws tomorrow. Think I'll be in a room with baby lazza & DH in with DD1. Might sound a bit odd (& we'll probably get questioned about that decision) but it'll probably be least disruptive option for all.

Have a nice day tomorrow spotty.

utopian99 · 25/10/2013 20:28

will you I like the idea of you preemptively calpolling WL! Grin

Could someone preemptively gin&tonic me please?

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 25/10/2013 20:31

I thought it might help her to cope with the post-bedtime cleanup Utopian, get yourself a G&T drip set up.

SpookyTeacakes · 25/10/2013 20:37

Grin Thanks WL I might see what's on.

Beasty I wanted the goat and the giant cardboard Christmas tree!

WillYou he's got an undescended testicle so they need to snip it and stitch it down Sad quite common though I think.

Fx for good nights all round. Dd is still feverish could do with a full nights sleep...

itsMYNutella · 25/10/2013 20:39

Grin Brilliant, hope you're feeling suitably chilled with your calpol WL. And I'm off to suggest to DP that he take me up the shard next time we're in London GrinGrinGrin can't wait to see his face... Although once I've spent half an hour explaining it, it won't be funny.

Utopian please would you share your gin? I don't have any gin Sad and you can't get slimline tonic here Confused full fat stuff doesn't taste the same!

itsMYNutella · 25/10/2013 20:41

Spotty the poor little man having an op on his tiny man bits. I've noticed whenever a dr gets DS undressed the give the bits a little squeeze. It's like a strange habit, "oh there is a pair of testicles all gooood".

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 25/10/2013 20:45

Ooh poor DS Spotty, I remember you saying he had one at birth but must have missed the rest of the conversation.

I'm worried DS will need to be circumcised, DP needed to be aged 7 hopes DP never reads mn, although he tells everyone when drunk and I keep checking J's willy. I have no idea what I'm looking for though as I've never seen a baby's willy before. The word willy looks silly Halloween Grin

SpookyTeacakes · 25/10/2013 20:50

WillYou I think you'd need to wait until he's a bit older when the foreskin is retractable (4?) sometimes if it's just right though they can lengthen it rather than remove it locks away embarrassing incident with first boyfriend

WLmum · 25/10/2013 21:01

Hehe, I love being preemptively calpoled (only it was red wine and one of the bigs freddo choc bars).
I also fnar fnared at up the shard but was pretending to be grown up!
I missed the goings on with the goat, thought it must be an auto correct of gonad!

WLmum · 25/10/2013 21:05

I would take Ben and holly over the crapola magic key mine were watching - it's educational but shit and for some reason they like it.

WLmum · 25/10/2013 21:06

DH (weirdo) follows nanny plum on twitter!

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 25/10/2013 21:07

Where did goat come from? Being a bit thick drunk

I know I won't be able to tell yet Spotty, but I'm still checking.

I'm in a super happy mood, babies are so lovely, I can't believe I waited so long. DP and I have been together 9 years; about 4 years ago I thought I was pregnant and sobbed my heart out as it was the wrong time (is there ever a right time?). If only I'd known Smile

SpookyTeacakes · 25/10/2013 21:09

Ikea have a festive goat Grin dp wouldn't let me but one Hmm

The weather is looking pretty hairy for Monday...

WLmum · 25/10/2013 21:12

Well yes they are willyou!

I meant to say I loved the idea of construction site kited out babies (although got a bit of a village people baby image going on. T has got a yellow cycle helmet that could be a hard hat.

utopian99 · 25/10/2013 23:38

No gin is a terrible thing. A friend once pulled a muscle in her neck shouting More Gin in the centre of Glasgow.

Have put up a photo for you on the fb groupWL.

FriendofDorothy · 25/10/2013 23:51

Is anyone else's baby waking more often than they did as a newborn? At the moment he is waking every 2-3 hours in the night. It's exhausting!
