FoD H isn't even asleep yet Hmm and shes full of cold and sneezing.

Nutella try Gin and pineapple juice its fab, although on nights out i stick to gin and lemonade.

WL and Willyou i have pre-emptively calpoled, and nurofenned and anbesoled haha. Still no sign of sleep but i'm hoping she'll sleep for longer when she finally does go.

DP has been a legend really looked after her well, there was no need for me to worry.

Spotty, sorry DS has to wait for so long for his Operation. Also i hope you and DP have a lovely time tomorrow night.

Beasty i hope the photographs turn out beautiful. And take care of yourself.

Utopian he looks so cute in his Hi-vis Grin

Had my first Night Out last night :o

I wore an under wired bra for the first time since April 2012 Shock

R woke at 7 just as i was leaving, eventually settled at 8 then went through till nearly 6 :) would have been longer if I'd had the sense to leave a properly boosted night nappy Hmm

halestone · 26/10/2013 11:05

Glad you had a nice night Pidj.

H is full of cold, the poor thing kept waking last night because her nose was so snotty. She ended up propped up on our pillows or on our shoulders.

Yay for nights out Pidj and double yay for perky boobs GrinBiscuitBiscuit

I didn't go to bed early enough last night as I waited up for DP to finish work so while it wasn't a particularly bad night it was still a killer. DS had compkety soaked through nappy, vest, suit and bag this morning. Luckily he was on DO's side of the bed Wink

I'm really bored today. DP's at work footy and it's raining. What can I doooooooo?

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 26/10/2013 11:08

Poor H Hales, I usually end up propping up j most nights as he's a little snot bucket!

halestone · 26/10/2013 12:25

Willyou i hope you get some sleep today. And yay to keeping your side of the bed dryGrin

Yeah a snot bucket is an accurate way to describe H today. We're trying to decide what to do with her my mum was going to look after so DP could go on a night out and he hardly ever goes on them so i can't complain. But i don't want her going outside really and my mum will take her out despite any promises she makes no too. So DP may have to miss his night out which i feel terrible about.

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 26/10/2013 15:25

Don't feel terrible Hales, ask yourself if if were your night out and he were working would you miss it. Of course and DP's H's parent too.

J has found a newborn dummy down the side of my bed. It's probably been there since he rejected it aged 1 week. He's merrily sucking away on it and has legged it onto the landing so I can't take it back. He's a rascal Grin

Barbeasty · 26/10/2013 16:23

Don't worry Hales if little one isn't well, stuff has to be cancelled. Maybe he can rearrange for another night?

I've got a wonderfully quiet house right now. DH has taken DD out for a walk, and A is totally zonked from his swimming photo shoot. It went well though, and hopefully we got some really nice shots.

I can't remember who asked for a picture of DD, but I've put one up on Facebook, taken last time DH took her off on his own.

SpookyTeacakes · 26/10/2013 19:40

Argh major train issues!! Got on a Waterloo, off at Woking for replacement bus then back onto train as no bus then swap trains at Guildford Confused

WLmum · 26/10/2013 19:47

Loving the fb pics!
Expecting the clocks change to mean an early start all round.
willyou tell J to stop giving T ideas - she poked me so hard in the eye I couldn't see for about 20 mins and it still really stings!

WLmum · 26/10/2013 21:01

fod that does sound exhausting. T has been up and down for ages with 2-3 hourly wakes on a bad night but just one wake on a good night. I'm trying again with a bit of gentle sleep training/night weaning - off to bed soon!

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 26/10/2013 21:40

Naughty T, poke her back, it's the only way she'll learn Wink

J's up for a bottle already. He's a bottomless pit today.

WLmum · 26/10/2013 21:47

It's alright, I think I bent her finger when putting her bedtime vest on - that'll learn 'er!
All braced for the storms?

SpookyTeacakes · 26/10/2013 21:56

We're off to secretts in godalming tomorrow to pick a pumpkin Grin have candles at the ready and will get ready made formula for morning bottle!

WLmum · 26/10/2013 22:10

Hmm, better find the torches - you've got me 'just in casing' now spotty. It's a little windy here already.

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 26/10/2013 22:51

It's rainy here and cold but we're not supposed to bear the brunt.

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 27/10/2013 04:24

Meh baby with a cough, soaked through his nappy by 4am (3am), DP trying to be nice but just being irritating. I've had 2.5h sleep so far and J is still wide awake.

SpookyTeacakes · 27/10/2013 06:47

I just need a bit of a rant about my mum Blush

Yesterday she gave ds a milky bar and then text me saying 'oh I've done something really stupid I forgot he wasn't allowed chocolate until he's one' Hmm I've never said anything of the sort I just don't think there's any need for him to eat such crap especially a whole bar at his age.

She's also bought a load of clothes off her friend, such a lovely thought, for both the dc using their Christmas money. Some bits are ok but lots is awful and I just won't put them in it. It just makes me feel bad! I just wish she'd asked me first as I would have said no.

SpookyTeacakes · 27/10/2013 06:47

Oh and WL all our power cables are above ground so we will likely lose power. I wouldn't be preparing otherwise Smile

Stacks · 27/10/2013 07:31

We're traveling to London on the train tomorrow (from Edinburgh) do you think we're going to run into travel chaos? It'll be DS first time on a train, and quite a long journey. Just worried it's going to be awful with bus replacements etc :(

Sorry for the bad nights. I really hope some improvement is had soon. Can't remember names, but I hope the cough gets better, and that night weaning works quickly.

I'm exhausted today too. I was forced went to a Halloween party last night, first time out since having DS with DH staying home to look after T. It was fun I guess, but didn't get home till 11, to find DH hadn't hung up the wet washing he'd assured me he'd do. So had to do that, then DS woke for a feed. Got to bed at 12, up at 3, 3:30 and 6, up for the day at 6:30 (I can't bring myself to adjust those times to the new real times). So not worth it for a couple of hours at a party :(

Spotty that would annoy me too, especially the chocolate. Who gives a baby their age chocolate?! Will she start putting coke in his bottle next? DS gets chocolate if I'm eating it, but he gets a quarter if one square - and even then only if DH isn't watching.

My MIL looked after DS for a little while the other day, I came back to her frantically reading the ingredients on an Ella's kitchen organic pure fruit pouch, worried I'd be cross with her for buying it for him. I don't think she'll be buying him chocolate any time soon.

2blessed · 27/10/2013 07:41

spotty I would have been fuming at the chocolate. DS hasn't even had 'baby juice' yet, we're sticking to water for the moment. I have to keep making that point to various people. Hmm

Hope you get to rest today stacks.

Well I think I got my extra hour, was still up at 7.30 with R though. Getting ready to bath him, he did 3 suspect poos yesterday and I've jusy heard him do 3 in the last 5 minutes. The last 1 was so loud it made me jump! Poor baby!

SpookyTeacakes · 27/10/2013 07:53

Stacks what time will you be leaving and how long is the journey?

Exactly ds doesn't have anything like that and with dd I keep it to a minimum ie weekends only. I know it's not the end of the world as it was a one off but it's still annoyed me. Not as much as it's annoyed dp though!

SpookyTeacakes · 27/10/2013 07:59

Oh apparently it was a Milky Way not a milky bar ShockHmmAngry

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 27/10/2013 11:27

Mines exactly the same Spotty, she keeps saying "Your mum won't let you have chocolate, she's cruel. Just wait til you're one, we can give it you then!" Angry She's also desperate for him to have coke. I'm sure she's losing her grip on reality as my recollection of how much shit we were allowed as kids is completely different to hers.

Barbeasty · 27/10/2013 11:32

Stacks I'd check national rail before you go, maybe keep an eye on it overnight.

The main issue will be the wind bringing down the overhead power cables. That takes a while to fix. Things like trees falling on the tracks are quicker to sort.

The good thing is that it's pretty windy now, so hopefully anything that's going to happen will happen before you travel tomorrow!

I feel sorry for A- MIL gives DD biscuits and chocolate and he gets breadsticks and crusts!
