Poor you WillYou.

Hope work goes ok 2blessed.

Ispy could it be autoimmune?

Barbeasty · 21/10/2013 19:32

Willyou ouch. I sometimes have a little bit tear off the surface of one eye and it's agony.

I just missed getting a video of A opening and shutting the freezer door. That's one to watch out for!

And he's started biting. Hard. Just as we'd got him feeding almost to sleep and into his cot, now he's being put on the floor and wanders off!

He's chewing away too. Come on teeth!

WLmum · 21/10/2013 19:55

hales is she wheezy and coughing? I'd get her checked but its good that she doesn't have a temp.

willyou ouch! Those little fingernails sure are sharp.

2blessed good luck tomorrow. T didn't rush up to great me when I got on today :-( I guess she's getting used to me being away sometimes. That and she was transfixed by number jacks!

utopian are you sorted for childcare now? I've got a very experienced nanny friend looking for a few hours. My kids all love her! I'll pm you her details if you're interested.

utopian99 · 21/10/2013 20:04

WL not sorted yet, found some options but if you know someone who's happy to do odd hours that would be perfect!

WLmum · 21/10/2013 21:43

Cool, I'll pm you her details and let her know that I've sent them over.

ISpyWithMyEvilEye · 21/10/2013 21:54

Hmm I have wondered if it could be Spotty - it does feel a bit like mu body's attacking itself. Am on a self imposed Google ban though after convincing myself I had all manner of terrible things so not going to research much anymore. Will just try to wait and see what the specialists come up with.

Over the past 24 hours my baby seems to have been replaced by a toddler. N has now decided that walking should replace crawling as his MO. He's gone from taking the occasional couple of steps to doing 10 in a row and cruising between furniture the rest of the time. Can't believe how much he's changed seemingly overnight.

halestone · 21/10/2013 22:10

No WL no wheezing or coughing. I've given her calpol regularly today and lots of anbesol and i'm pretty sure i can feel 2 more teeth coming through. I'm not sure what a 10 month old needs this many teeth for.

Beasty, Whenever i get the camera out to film her doing something she automatically stops doing itHmm

WLmum · 21/10/2013 22:12

Sounds nasty ispy, hope its easily fixable.

utopian couldn't get pm to send so have fb'd it to you.

2blessed · 22/10/2013 04:51

2nd wake up here!

Hales, hope it's just teeth bothering DD.
Fx you feel better soon WL. I had a moment with R a few months ago. I had left him with DM and when I returned and reached for him, he just kept turning away. It's hard for them trying to process change...

SpookyTeacakes · 22/10/2013 05:37

Worst night ever. Dd has actually got slapped cheek this time so she was in with us all night. Her cough is so bad she was sick in our bed at 3am all on my arm Hmm so I've had less than two hours sleep zzzzz got the funeral later too

WLmum · 22/10/2013 07:32

Oh dear spotty. Hope dd feels better soon and that the funeral goes as well as it can.

itsMYNutella · 22/10/2013 10:04

Spotty oh, poor dd. and poor you being thrown up on in the night Blush are you taking the DCs to the funeral or dropping them off with someone? Can you still drop them off if dd is ill?

DS woke three times last night. Even though all other feeding stopped a week ago he has one boob at about 1 am ish and the second at 5/6 am. When I pick him up it is all he wants... I think we are going to have to phase it out though. The rest of the time he is fine with bottles. He knows when you have it ready and he will let you know he wants it! It's funny though because if you leave it standing on the floor he will crawl over to it and suck it expecting milk to come out Grin sorry DS only boobies work like that at all angles.
Oh and the last wake up was at about 6:20 ish. Feed, put back down, asleep for all of ten minutes Sad we had a lot of fighting and I explained to him that I neeeeed sleep! We gave up eventually and got up.

halestone · 22/10/2013 11:11

Spotty i hope DD is feeling better soon

2blessed hope you enjoy your 1st day back at workThanks

Nutella, H wakes up a few times a night as well, but its usually for a nappy change and the rest of the time its because shes such a fidget in her sleep.

I'm sure her grumpiness and breathing is teeth related now, when she woke last night i put anbesol on her each time and she went back to sleep easily.

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 22/10/2013 15:46

I hope it pops through soon Hales

Spotty sympathies to your DH, hope the funeral isn't too hard.

Had a good night last night DS slept 8-10:30, 11:15-6 (OH YES!) and 6:30-8:15. Twas great!

I've just booked a nursery visit for Thursday and, in a completely unconnected move, put the Euromillions on Halloween Grin

We've had a lovely day out at a really nice play cafe, it was really clean and there was tonnes of stuff for teeny tinys as well as big kids.

SpookyTeacakes · 22/10/2013 18:42

Longest day ever. Work was so so busy and as soon as I finished I only just had time to get home and changed before the funeral. It was a lovely service I left straight after back to my dads to pick up the dc and home and just got ds to bed. Dp will be home soon hopefully.

I read all your posts but have forgotten what you all said BlushBlush

ISpyWithMyEvilEye · 22/10/2013 18:54

Spotty - hope DD is ok and that today went as well as it could.

Willyou - sounds like a great night and a lovely day too.

N had his first settling in session at nursery today. It went really well. He loved exploring everything and I even managed to leave the room for a bit without incident. From my point of view, it helps that it's the same nursery that DS1 went to for almost 3 years so I know and trust the staff and how they work- doesn't feel like settling in for me too this time round. DH is taking him tomorrow and the idea is that N will stay on his own for a few hours. Hopefully it'll go as smoothly as today.

ISpyWithMyEvilEye · 22/10/2013 18:56

X post Spotty - glad it went well.

Stacks · 22/10/2013 18:57

Spotty, I hope dd is feeling better and the funeral went ok. Not a good day for you all in :(

Great sleep willyou, long may it continue.

Hales, glad to hear the teething stuff worked last night (that name never makes me think teeth, but the other end..)

Sorry you had an early morning nutella. DS keeps refusing to go back to sleep properly in the mornings too. 6:30 is so much worse than 7.

T has really found his temper today. Crying and arching his back when I wouldn't let him crawl over the babies at play group. 'Crying' whenever he was bored or couldn't do something he wanted quick enough. Really hard work! This is a phase right? They learn to control their emotions a little better right? Before they become teenagers..

Stacks · 22/10/2013 19:00

Xpost spotty and ispy. Glad the day went ok spotty, even though it sounds like it could have been a lot easier. Hope you get good sleep tonight.

Glad that the settling in session went well ispy.

WLmum · 22/10/2013 19:45

I vote we all clink glasses of wine tonight. We're having homemade Indian food. Yum!
In other news I had my haircut tonight - nice and grown up and a little more styled/ less easy mummy hair. I like it but dd1 says I look like a boy another few pounds to lose and then I'll treat myself to a few new clothes with the proceeds of an nct sale. Bil/sil have returned some stuff we lent them so now is the time. The Moses basket came back with unwashed sheets!! Really folks?!

Stacks · 22/10/2013 20:28

I'll have to clink some schloer

We had fish soup for dinner, surprisingly nice and quick to make. Just a recipe from the sainsbury mag.

itsMYNutella · 22/10/2013 20:33

Stacks when we were kids we used to have schloer at Christmas Grin you just reminded me. We used to clink glasses and slur schloer-schloer-schlooooer

I had sushi take away for dinner. It was delicious! Probably the most expensive take away we get, but if I get pregnant again (we're not trying yet, but we're talking about it) then it means no sushi for ages so I tell DP it evens it out Smile

halestone · 22/10/2013 21:15

Stacks it makes me think of the same thing Grin

WL oh a new hair style sounds lovely and also i would make sure anything i borrowed was returned clean.

Well H is kicking off DP has taken her upstairs thank god he's off tonight i have counted 3 more teeth i can feel just under the surface of her gums! She must be in so much pain! Why does she need all these teeth so quicklyHmm

OP posts:
WLmum · 22/10/2013 21:25

Wow hales thems a-coming thick and fast!

halestone · 22/10/2013 21:39

I know WL she has 9 through that are permanent 1 at the back which i feel some days and not others and now 3 more coming through. I don't understand why shes getting them so quickly or why she would need this many teeth at this age.
