Really hoping the dairy test goes well YW :)

ValiumQueen · 05/08/2013 22:09

You fibber YW! Every day without cheese and chocolate has seemed like a week Grin Totally worth it though if the wee man is settled and comfy.

J is neither settled nor comfortable bless him. And DD2 is coughing like an old man.

I hope they do go. Even though I will miss them awfully it will be fab to be able to nap when J does and not have to worry about waking everyone in the night if he is disturbed. And being woken by him rather than his sisters at 5.30.

Sweet dreams to all. Hopefully x

ChasingDaisy · 05/08/2013 22:22

YW I am in awe of what you have done for your bear. He is one lucky boy! I always picture him as a content, calm soul Smile The day you can binge on cheese and chocolate will be a very happy one! I will raise a bar of dairy milk in your honour Grin

ChasingDaisy · 05/08/2013 22:23

VQ you sound so calm and together despite the lack of sleep - how are you getting on with the antidepressants?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 05/08/2013 23:27

Ahhhhhhh what a day.

I am tired now.

Spent most of the day finishing packing up downstairs and tidying ensuing chaos up after packing.

I meant to say the other day. I did sell the Donkey £820. Actually did I say? I can't remember, anyway sheis coming tomorrow night to collect. O's new wheels arrived today a Nipper Out n About 360. We had the opportunity to testout the rain cover this afternoon, it was definitely a superior rain core. Which will be needed where I am going.

I enjoyed your little sketch pass can we have a sequal?

Oliver had been moaning today to could be teething, could be mummy is busy and not giving me enough attention. Then he fell asleep on my knee at 6:30. Unheard of.

TheDetective · 05/08/2013 23:37

Sophia yippeeee! Good stuff! Knew it would sell! Make sure if they are collecting they pay cash - Bugaboo's are targeted by people paying by paypal, collecting then claiming the money back through paypal! You probably know this! But in case you didn't, don't get stung Grin.

O is definitely unsettled although we have only had one proper re-settle.

Attempting bed... Hmm. G'night. Last one turn the lights off please. Grin

GTbaby · 06/08/2013 00:32

Waaaa. Lo had trouble sleeping today. Was horrible. Made me think how lucky I an not to have this everyday.
He would cry, proper tears, every time I put him in cot. Hard as my bump is totally in the way and he is such a giant baby! Confusedthe cot is now on the lowest setting and FH is on night shift.

So glad he is asleep now. Babies are so cute when asleep. Grin

Kirrin · 06/08/2013 03:17

Hope it's not the pox bplp

Hope the dairy traces go ok YW The countdown to chocolate begins:)

Boo hiss to soy reactions detective

Great news on the donkey sophia :) Sounds like you've had a busy day. Are you sure you're not over doing it?

Received my replacement phone and sim today. But my attempt to activate the sim failed. Apparently they can't verify my details so I need to go into my nearest store to do it. Brilliant. That'll be Saturday then. Grrrrr

PurplePidjin · 06/08/2013 04:13

7:30-2:30 then another hour and a half battle won by calpol. 10ml a day for teeth for a couple of weeks is fine, right? Although the 2nd dose has only been a few times this week...

PetiteRaleuse · 06/08/2013 05:56

Fucking dog waking us up during the night ill. That plus the heat was just too much.

LO slept though which is something, though I'm not sure how as we were up and about for about an hour at 3ish.

Kyz · 06/08/2013 06:35

Why the merry fuck is half five suddenly morning? I don't get it! Feel bad for moaning about it cos some of you have it far worse, I just don't understand why he's waking so early these days.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/08/2013 07:02

Morning peeps.

Oh I didn't know that det but they are paying with cash so that is good.

It was a busy day yesterday kirrin but I ad an evenings feet up with a opulent of irks from work so that made me stop pottering!

Office today.

THREE AND A HALF DAYS TO GO

Actually we now have a move date/s ! DH has put Friday 16 to Monday 19 in calendar. So the countdown starts here.

Passmethecrisps · 06/08/2013 07:48

Good morning!

Good job sophia! That's amazing. Things must be getting very exciting now.

After all the issues yesterday p slept well last night. The usual two quick wake ups at 2 and 4 then when I heard her singing this morning I quickly popped through and saw to her before rushing back to bed thinking 'just 10 more minutes' only to discover that it was already 6:45! She hasn't slept that late without a really bad night for a long time.

PP I think that sounds fine. I sometimes fret about giving calpol but when it stops the grumping I feel bad as she was obviously in pain

Pikz · 06/08/2013 08:13

Arrrrrghhhhhh a stair climber

Passmethecrisps · 06/08/2013 08:14

Run pikz run!

PetiteRaleuse · 06/08/2013 08:16
Pikz · 06/08/2013 08:18

Can I bind his limbs or something??

PetiteRaleuse · 06/08/2013 08:25

Well that would be effective if not particularly acceptable in today's society. Your HV if she popped in would certainly raise at least one eyebrow.

Kyz · 06/08/2013 08:34

Fed him at half six and he went back to sleep till 8:10. Will see if he'll take more in the day, snacks or something though I worried they'd mean he eats less or drinks less formula. Could taking ages to go to sleep, waking a couple of times then getting up early be regression? He is 39 weeks today. Or d'you reckon I need to up his food/bottle intake during the day somehow?

Sorry quiche I will read everyone else's shizzle once lo has gone down for a nap :(

MissMummy1 · 06/08/2013 08:45

We have just had our third tantrum:

The first was about 2 weeks ago when she wouldn't accept my company's tablet was not solely hers.

The second one was at my gran's house when I took a glass of water away from her. Who the feck gives a baby a glass to play with?!

And this morning's grievance? The window cleaner stopped pulling faces at her and disappeared up his ladder to clean the bathroom window. Shock

She gets properly furious. Is this normal? Confused

Good luck with the dairy yw

Welcome to our sleepdodging world gt

Exciting times sophia - I cannot get over how calm you sound about it all!

Pass I had a knowing giggle at your conversation with the receptionsit naff. That god awful fife accent makes everything so much worse!

Top tooths have made a shouty appearance. Poor pet. Poor mummy. Poor table leg.

Passmethecrisps · 06/08/2013 08:54

I did wonder as I typed it if anyone other than you would know what I was saying mm!

kyz p went through what you are talking about exactly. It lasted maybe a month to 6 weeks. Up for the day at 5 or thereabouts, taking an eternity to get to sleep, wakings in the night being full and lengthy. I really think it is linked to focussing on moving. Learning to propel yourself around is physically and mentally very challenging. P didn't do all the things at once but went from difficult to put down and early wakings to multiple night wakings. Maybe with E doing them all at once he will get over them faster?

I am not convinced it has anything to do with food. Yesterday p ate every little of either solids or milk yet slept well. Try not to over think it and just go with it for a few days. You will probably find that it passes very quickly.

Passmethecrisps · 06/08/2013 09:00

mm I think the tantrums are likely to be frustration. P can blub a bit now when you take her away from something she wants to play with. I think it is the realisation that they are a wee individual and the world exists separate to them. Might be shite

MissMummy1 · 06/08/2013 09:09

Yeah I did think that. But this is full on clenched fists, rigid, purple faced screaming fists - only resolved by getting what she wants. ie this morning it stopped the second the window cleaner came back down.

She is my daughter though, she was always going to be a fiery bugger. Blush

MissMummy1 · 06/08/2013 09:10

*screaming fits

Passmethecrisps · 06/08/2013 09:10

Didn't like to suggest that Grin
