The first night - he had it an hour before bed. He was difficult to get down, and woke as soon as I got to the stairs Hmm. But after that he slept all night, til 6ish I think.

Tonight he had it 20 minutes before bed. He was a little difficult to go down after being sleepy after his bottle. Rocked him for a bit and eventually he went. Not had a wake up yet.

Will let you know in the morning!

Oh, at the minute he is still hit and miss as to how he sleeps. 3-4 wake ups not uncommon still, 1-2 feeds in there somewhere. Equally he can sleep til 6 and then feed and be up for the day. Or wake at 4, feed, then sleep til 7.30-8. Or any combination of anything Hmm.

PR you have dog tranquilisers in your bag?! Grin

Yeah left over from the trip to England. We doped him for the long car journeys to get there and back. He hates the car, gets v stressed and his anal glands release very smelly stress hormones. Doping him up was win win. No stinky panting for us to deal with, lots of lovely sleep for him. Vet told us that was the kindest way with him.

Kyz bloody hell that's awesome chat from E. They say if you're wee one can manage to say Mumma or Dada by one its good going. There's a wee boy at playgroup who can say hiya and ta at nine months and the HVs are Shock Shock Shock Shock

Jonas seems to be neither a walker or a talker. So far he's just a big soppy snoggy sook Hmm Smile

I bloody hate the bloody M25. That's all I have to say for now as my eyes are closing.
I'll check in properly in the morning.

Oh dear kirrin. Feeling guilty as my parents will be having traffic hell today - they are coming over to give me some time out. Am very very grateful. The last time I had any time not responsible for the kids was when I went for a smear test over a month a go - and then I had to ask my mil to look after them. Having a rough patch with dh. He is working really hard and under a lot of pressure but any time I ask him for time out he just gets defensive. I remember things feeling not great when dd was a baby too and they did get better so I have hope we'll get through it, but I feel so frustrated and let down at the moment. Hopefully having some time out today will help.

bryz I'm sure you will feel much better after some time to yourself, just make sure you really relax. Do you have anything nice planned? It's good your parents can help out.

We had a not so great night at the start of the night, S woke every 10 mins for about 3 and a half hours and cried every time I left the room if I left before she was asleep. Thankfully though she slept through from 10:30 - 5.

I'm still baby free. Eek. Missing my monkey but she is having the time of her life with my parents. Apparently slept from 7 till 7.15. Theatre was great last night, it was nice to put pretty clothes and make up on.

bryz it will get better.
pr I love the pic on Facebook, I would love to have a big but scared dog. I would love to have a dog but we will need to move before. No way I'm getting one in a flat.
kyz O says eeeeeeeeee in a high pitched voice. I think she is pretty advanced Grin.
Oh and she scoffed down half a pancake yest. Filled with cottage cheese. Bad bad mummy.

Morning.

Fuck a duck. I wish p could speak. It might make nights like last night easier.

You know, like this:

"Oh hi mum. Sorry for waking you up but I am having trouble sleeping because (insert reason here). It would really help if you (insert solution here). Thanks!"

Rather than:
"Waaah!"

"Waahaah"

"Waaaaaaaaaaah"

"Waaaaaaahaaaaaahaaa"

Very quiet night on here last night! Much as I would love to think it's because people were asleep, I imagine it's more like we were all too hot to move.

Pass I'm glad I'm not the only one who has nights like that. Have often wondered where Fs instruction manual is hidden, I think the hospital forgot to send her home with one.

Lily your night sounds wonderful, glad you enjoyed it.

Bry ((hugs)) and I hope some downtime will help make things a little better for you and dh.

6-5.30 here, now to try getting her to nap

izzy I could do with visiting Ikea actually so that might work.

Hope you have a nice time bry.

lilly that sounds lovely. Glad O had a nice night too.

very much cooler here today and quite overcast so we are heading to the safari park finally. I think we are going to be brave and take food for P to give her when we are out. What can possibly go wrong?

Morning. Happy Bastille Day.

Not a bad night here.

lily he is a lovely dog but would be rubbish if we were burgled. His conversation with a burglar would go something along the lines of:

'Hello new friend. Mind the cat. Would you like to play? Ooh we're playing at breaking stuff? Lovely, I'm good at that. Would you like a drink? In the fridge there right next to that lovely leftover meat. Oh no, if you're going that way I wouldn't mind. Yes yes you can take the TV I don't need that. Can you take the hoover too? Can I give you a big slobbery kiss? I like kisses. No, don't go. Stay and play.'

Then he'd mope at losing a new friend. Twat.

The cat, however, growls when anyone new comes to the door. Far scarier than the dog.

On my way now to pick up O, can't wait.

PR you have just described my old retriever, Tango. He was also scared of fireworks everything

Glad you had a lovely night lily I haven't left M overnight yet but my mum is desperate to have her for a sleepover.

Det my phone, laptop and desktop memories are all full with photos Blush

Envy of safari park. Manchild still says no.

M was a nightmare last night. First wake up at 10.30 then every half hour thereafter until dp took her into bed with him. I can only assume it is her teeth as the third one is literally just about to burst through and she was like this with the first two.

DP is giving me a morning off today. I can hear them both downstairs making pancakes for breakfast Grin Grin Grin ignores thoughts of destroyed kitchen

PR the answer is. Dunno!

He woke at 4. Fed. Back down til 7.30.

Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't?!

The good thing about both nights is that we didn't get the usual wake up 30 mins after getting in bed Hmm

Argh. Sry. All I do is rant when I come on here. But BUT BUT

FUCKING HELL. Lo is tiered. He has been cranky since 9, but last hour really needed his bed. He won't sleep down stairs. He needs to be put to sleep in his cot. I can't carry him up the stairs. FH is asleep as he came off a night.

For THE BUT FUCKING TWATING STUPID FUCKING BIT. Mil refuses to take lo up as it will disturb her fucking son!

FH is a deep sleeper won't wake up. He won't mind as long as lo sleeps on time.
Yesterday FH told mil she should have put lo upstairs before she goes out (she goes out for a walk during his nap time and yesterday left before putting him up, lo then didn't get a proper nap as its to noisy and light down stairs)

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
He has finally fallen asleep on me. So no where THE FUCK DO I TRANSFER HIM AS I CAN'T SIT HERE FOR TWO HOURS YOU STUPID FUCKING WOMEN.

Had a lovely day at my sisters BBQ. There were quite a few other kids there and then managed to play nicely. We didn't leave till 10:30pm. She only lives a short walk from here.

Have had very slovenly morning. DD1 didn't wake up till 10:45am! E woke at 8am and I got her into bed with me for milk and snuggles.

lily glad you had a nice night. I love phantom of the opera.

pr happy Bastille day.

Can't remember what else I was going to comment on. Better snap out of this lazy state and get the kids dressed before its too late to bother!
