chasing It's lovely to hear you sounding so positive about you and O's future. It sounds like your dad is doing everything he can to make you feel at home. I suspect it will be tough, but you are doing the right thing in making sure you get out and about. It's about an hour and a half drive for me so well doable for the occassional meet!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 10/06/2013 21:36

Am going to bed. J had had both boobs and is asleep. I'm exhausted. Busy day was had and my bed is calling. Feel bad I'm not spending any quality time with DH but I'd be no company anyway. Night night everyone. Hope you all have a better night than I'm gonna have!

BigPigLittlePig · 10/06/2013 21:44

And there I was, thinking you were a walking dictionary luis!

FatimaLovesBread · 10/06/2013 21:50

I make up words on wwf!

chasing I was going to offer you our pop up cot but I'll need it again mid July so lilys is a better offer Smile

I'm worried M's nappy rash is fungal. It is very red and in her leg creases, then this evening there was a white patch on it that looked like cream but it wouldn't wash off. She's coated in metanium again and fast asleep. Will see how it looks.
Should I do a mid-night nappy change?
And if it is fungal, do they just prescribed clot cream? Because I've already got some. Or should I make a GP appointment to be certain?

BigPigLittlePig · 10/06/2013 21:55

Fatima fungal rashes tend to have satellite lesions, which are little red patches scattered around the main area of redness. GP would prescribe clotrimazole or similar, plus or minus a steroid depending on how inflamed it was. Probably best to get an appointment to make sure.

ValiumQueen · 10/06/2013 21:56

Sorry I told you a pile of shit Chasing, I was unaware you could get CTC whilst not working. It is so confusing. When DH was a student all our married life until last year we were not entitled to a penny. But now he is working, and we therefore have more money, we are entitled. Go figure.

Jacob will not sleep. Wind. Increased the ranitadine to help with the reflux and he cannot be horizontal.

He had bagel for breakfast and a taste of chicken and veg for tea. Small steps. I think he needs to go and stay with Cat for a while.

Pass, with the girls it was a case of putting anything on a spoon and they would open their mouths and eat it from about day 3 of weaning. Except mashed potato.

TheDetective · 10/06/2013 21:57

If I suspect thrush, the thrush cream goes on - I'd see how it is in the morning. If it is no better, give it a whirl.

Someone play me on WWF. I haven't been on it for aaaaages. And right now, I am bored, and the fridge is shouting my frickin' name.

Hmm

Oh. TheDetectiveStalksYou is me.

ValiumQueen · 10/06/2013 22:00

Chasing pop him in a drawer? Not in a cabinet, on the floor obviously. Although Lily's kind offer is probably a better option.

Kyzordz · 10/06/2013 22:03

Bless her fatima hope it clears up soon. I think metanium would protect her? I would want to change it if it were e though so if you feel better changing it and it won't disturb her night too much then change her. Sorry that probably is really unhelpful!!

vq small steps are good steps :) you are braver than me, I am too scared to try bagel. I have noticed now I expect eric to eat I get upset inwardly when he is fussing and refusing savoury. For about a week I didn't give a shit and he ate fabulously, or it felt like he did. Perhaps I need to not care again. Hope j settles bless him, he really is lovely

TheDetective · 10/06/2013 22:04

I used to work in a residential unit for young single mums. I used to deal with benefits all the time. But it's been 5 years now. I've forgotten loads. And loads has changed!

I must look in to if we would be entitled to anything now I'm off sick, as my income will still be reduced. Bet it won't be. Also, my p60 hasn't been sent to me. So it will be floating about somewhere at work Hmm.

I was going to post earlier today saying how much better O's vomiting had been since he switched formula. Precisely 3 seconds after I had this thought, O vommed on his brand new outfit.

And then at bedtime tonight, we had megavom. So as a result, bedtime was me naked tricky. Hmm

LuisGarcia · 10/06/2013 22:06

BPLP I wondered who'd bite first Grin

BigPigLittlePig · 10/06/2013 22:12

Ooh yes, the drawer bed - it was v popular with F Smile

Det I'm on the case! Back to work in 3 weeks to am exercising my brain cell as much as I can.

Evilwater · 10/06/2013 22:19

Had a great day, despite sorting out the nursey stuff. Went to Adsa for some stuff and n was on his best behaviour, at lunch we went over to a local mums. n still was on his best behavour, but vomited on her mat. Then off to baby group in the afternoon, N was very well behaved and a proud mummy. n had his supper with some fuss, and has done very two small vomits.

Should I be worried?

Evilwater · 10/06/2013 22:20

WWF? Is that a scrabble game? I'm confused.

FatimaLovesBread · 10/06/2013 22:25

Thanks guys. I'll see how it looks in the morning and then decide whether to make a GP appointment or not.
She was wincing a bit when I change her nappy.

Just doing a dream feed to see if it makes a difference to sleep, she woke three times last night. I think she might be coming down with a cold though and she's a bit snotty. Or she could be getting another tooth.

Taking M in to work again tomorrow. 10 weeks today ill have done my first day back Sad

TheDetective · 10/06/2013 22:33

Yes, just like scrabble Evil. You can download the app, or find it on facebook. Words With Friends.

:)

PurplePidjin · 10/06/2013 22:33

Pikz i feel your pain. My car is sat on my parents' drive awaiting sale. I'll fb a pic for you in a mo.

R is a puree fiend, not quite in the kitten twins league but close. We're going to a weaning lunch thing on Wednesday at a surestart so will try blw. He likes rice cakes and rusks but not bread, and had fun squishing a lump of kiwi today, think i need help and inspiration!

Chasing, we'll be coming through in early September for VW Action at Santa Pod. Come and say hi?

GTbaby · 10/06/2013 22:42

It worked. Lox. No idea what it means.

daisychain76 · 10/06/2013 22:43

Ok, so got very confused today and put H to bed at 6pm (thinking it was 7!) He was asleep from 6.30. Just fed now. The No Cry Sleep Solution assures me babies can be ready for bed by 6 and it shouldn?t afftect what time they wake up in the morning. We?ll see...

Glad to read you are making positive plans chasing.

YellowWellies · 10/06/2013 22:48

Thanks Penny! At this rate he'll be weaned in November onto nutramigen with krusha in it Shock Wink - he'll sip it au natrelle in his sippy cup (we're trying to get him used to the idea) but he pulls a funny face and spits half of it out. Hmmm I think he hasn't got the memo about my weaning plans yet.

He suddenly has tonnes of very fluffy curly hair! Has anyone else's baby suddenly sprouted?

LuisGarcia · 10/06/2013 22:52

Lox is fish, isn't it?

YellowWellies · 10/06/2013 23:11

Swedish fish dish with dill a bit like gravadlax I think?

ValiumQueen · 10/06/2013 23:26

Jacob has only just gone to sleep. I was singing 'go the fuck to sleep' to him. In a very loving way obviously. I did not mind him being up. He is better company than my twat of a husband. TH had the afternoon off. I thought that would be a good thing, but it made the time so much harder. Just as well I love the fat old twatty bastard.

Sweet dreams all, especially you chasing x

TheDetective · 10/06/2013 23:43

Yeah I feel the same VQ. Except exchange old for young.

O is crying again. Number 9 wake up. He's self settled about half of them.

Fuck it's gonna be a long shitty arsed night. He had calpol at 7.30. He's getting it again if he doesn't go back to sleep now....

Stupid twatting cold. He can't breathe for the snot!

ChasingDaisy · 10/06/2013 23:46

First wake up here. Tired. Waiting to make transfer.
