Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Kyzordz · 31/05/2013 22:58

Oh eliza fc it was just a blip, you seem to manage so well with e and be really positive, even though it doesn't sound like its been easy atcall

det welll done to o! E shuffled and only took 5 1/2oz so only 36 1/2 today despite what I've only just said about 38-40oz. He is asleep though thank fuckery. He better not wake me tonight for anything! He will be sorely disappointed cos its water or naff all unless he is obv very hungry

MsJupiterJones · 31/05/2013 23:00

Sorry to hear that Eliza. So stressful. Hope like you say it is a blip and she starts going up again soon. I think babies do slow down a bit around this age so maybe she is just finding her own path. Hard though isn't it. I have to restrain myself not to put any pressure on L with weaning.

Elizadoesdolittle · 31/05/2013 23:24

Thanks guys. jj I agree, am trying not to put pressure on myself and E during weaning but it is hard. L sounds like he's doing wonderfully.

kyz Thank you. On the most part I am positive. Just have my own occasional blips everynow and then but I'm only human Smile

E is doing great really. She's not far off sitting unaided and she is rolling all over the place. I just wish she didn't have this bloody tube trailing after her but it could be worse. At least I won't have to go to the hospital everytime it comes out. It's hard putting it in myself, knowing I'm causing her pain and discomfort but hopefully she won't hold it against me!

LuisGarcia · 31/05/2013 23:28

Hugs for stunt and vq and anyone else.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 31/05/2013 23:40

I'll take some hugs luis

DH is in my good books. He just said to me that he guesses I'm having lie in tomorrow. Can't wait! There's EBM in the freezer so when the kids are up I don't have to be!

itsnotyouitsMeals · 31/05/2013 23:53

Hugs also to vq izzy bplp and all who need them. Sleep to last night's late crew too. Is it bad that I'm hungry already? vq am a stress eater too and am still huge post baby broken tummy not helping; been waiting for an appt since April

Hope I don't meet any of you here later!

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 01/06/2013 00:03

I had just walked into my bedroom when J started shouting. He's currently feeding just now. He's taken a liking to buying me and with two teeth like razors it bloody hurts!

TheDetective · 01/06/2013 00:04

I just had cheesy chips. Syn free chips, with my daily allocation of cheese.

Fucking gorgeous. Oh my god. I enjoyed every last scrap of them.

I miss cheese so fucking bad. Cheesy pizza being the one I miss the most. :(

Cheese, why do you have to be so fucking bad for people? Really. It's just not good enough.

We had stir fry for tea and it was fucking shit. Cheesy chips mucho needed - shame the chips took 2 fucking hours!!!!! Shock

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 01/06/2013 00:31

We had a syn free chicken fried rice. Was fab although my kitchen now smells of aniseed!

J has had a twenty minute feed so I'm away to bed hoping I get at least 2.5hrs til next wake up be it for food or hand hold nonsense. I have a pillow and throw next to his cot now. It's not comfy in the slightest but warmer and as such I've fallen asleep on the bloody floor the past two nights with my arm through the gap in the bars! Not comfy!

Night night

itsnotyouitsMeals · 01/06/2013 00:52

And so it begins. Am already on the kettle chips (dairy free).

itsnotyouitsMeals · 01/06/2013 01:27

Anyone? X

LuisGarcia · 01/06/2013 01:44

Yeah, me. And L. How're you doing there?

ValiumQueen · 01/06/2013 02:29

Up with DD2. Can hear J coughing too. If he gets poorly I will be at the GP very quickly as he has only just got over one chest infection. I have felt better physically. DH is snoring. DD1 is silent.

Shitting fucking cunting twatting illness fuck off!!!!!!! I feel like I am morphing into PR.

LuisGarcia · 01/06/2013 03:07

How the bloody hell do you all do this without a MrsG?

Bryzoan · 01/06/2013 03:13

Survival dust to stunt and vq and everyone else in need. Stunt it sounds like you are in hell. Can your dh take any of the load or are you both at your wit's end? I hope his circumnavigation issues have been addressed. Good luck to ds in his trumpet exam.

Eliza - so sorry to hear about the weight loss. It is horrid when that dominates everything. E will not hold the tube re-fittings against you. I had to take r's blood sugars regularly for her first 6 months and occasionally since and have had to do loads of other nasty things in the name of hips and I can safely say she still adores me.

Having a hard time here too. G awake every 90 mins or so and squirming like a crocodile that's eaten itching powder. Just changed a very slimy nappy so hoping that will help.

The kids are both so gorgeous but the lack of sleep is really getting to me. And dd's current obsession with what was my favourite playlist on my iPod is killing me. She just signs 'phone music' over and over and properly kicks off when I say no. If I never hear any of those songs again it will be too soon. She seems to get obsessed with things for a while and then switch to something else quite suddenly so I'm hoping it will be over soon - though apprehensive as to what will replace it.

Both kids have been driving me crazy swinging on my hair so yesterday I decided I had properly had enough and went to the hairdressers. First kid free time since g was born. I have had it all chopped off. It is now very, very short. Liked it yesterday but in the middle of the night am having some pangs of regret. Very nice to feed without it being yanked though. Thought dd would be upset but she seems to like it. Dh seems to too - which is good because I think he was quite nervous when I said I was doing it.

Mm- your p is being an arsehole. I was outraged to read of the duvet stealing tantrum. You are ill and feeling to rough to get up - and he has a paddy because he'd have to pause the tv on his iPod? No way good enough. Good luck reaching a resolution and sorry you are having to face that while feeling so poorly. Is the house buying still in progress?

Hope everyone (me included) can get some kip now.

Bryzoan · 01/06/2013 03:18

Luis you are so far from self indulgent. My life is golden too - I live in a beautiful place, have a great dh and 2 kids that are so amazing it blows my mind. But it is still ok to say it is tough sometimes. Because it is.

Lily311 · 01/06/2013 04:14

Oh, stunt so sorry. I wish I could help you somehow.

eliza hugs for you too.
chasing glad you are not going.

Moving in day today but first I'm going to have a pedicure. My feet are in a horrible state so very much needed. My sister will have O.

I decided to offer only water after midnight. She is clearly getting enough during the day and I think she is only thirsty rather than hungry. She took it well at 2.30 am, still asleep. But not me. Grrr.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 01/06/2013 05:12

Big hugs to you stunt and a Brew in bed.

PetiteRaleuse · 01/06/2013 06:37

Morning all. I feel like shite. Feverish and achey.

vq don't morph into me. I'm sad and tired and ranty and no fun. Result of a shite winter and spring and waking up yo yet another grey sky.

PetiteRaleuse · 01/06/2013 06:38

I feel like such shite I fancy a hot drink. I havn't had ome of those since I last went camping over 10 years ago.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 01/06/2013 06:53

Hugs for you too pr and anyone els who needs.

Xx

BigPigLittlePig · 01/06/2013 07:26

10.30 - 6! This counts as sleeping through, yes!? So long as you don't want an early night or a lie in....but she did it! At last!

Eliza sorry to hear of weight loss, hope the little monkey doesn't lose any more - you've already had so much worry.

PR and VQ bleurgh to illness. Not sure how you have managed 10 years without a hot drink though PR!

Det we made our own toddle pod last night, with towels and a fleece. No idea if it contributed to the sleep, but she seemed lovely and comfy. Plus, lately, as F sleeps on her side, when she twitches sometimes she stomach crunches and hits her head on the bars of the crib. So it will have prevented that at least!

Bry pics of hair on fb please!

Another sunny day here (sorry to rub it in pr) so I think the paddling pool will get an airing. Right, off to enjoy my lone time with F before dsd wakes up.

Oh one more thing. Dsd has been going on and on about "Liz and Mark" for ages. We finally worked out yesterday, after weeks and weeks, that she means Les Miserables Grin

Bryzoan · 01/06/2013 07:53

Bplp Grin I love that moment when the penny finally drops and you go from 'what are you talking about' to 'where on earth did that come from??'

BigPigLittlePig · 01/06/2013 08:06

THEY'RE ALL ASLEEP!!! ALL AT THE SAME TIME!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 01/06/2013 08:36

Big up bp
