Do it, MM, taste of his own medicine! He must be capable of calling a taxi/catching a bus!

PetiteRaleuse · 31/05/2013 17:32

Envy of pidj having fish and chips. 10 days...

YellowWellies · 31/05/2013 17:45

MM let the fucker get a taxi. I notice he is rude and dismissive of your family until he wants a babysitter / someone to pick you up. There is a reason he's got to just shy of 40 without a woman being stupid enough to marry him. He can claim its because he's wild at heart, hasn't met the right woman but its because he's a prize tosser. Do not be subservient and go and get him

ValiumQueen · 31/05/2013 18:02

Pass, pop over to a park near me if you are in need of a boost. The mums look posh if they have managed to get dressed!

Luis was a woman in a previous life I would say.

Feeling a bit better about weaning now thanks to your comments. There are some poor little children who cannot eat anything at all, so we are very lucky. Thank you for the tip about the yoghurt YW.

J had sweet potato and carrot followed by pear. He ate half his main, and hoovered up the pud. Antibiotics finished now Smile

MM for your homework this week I want you to list Man-child's good points.

StuntNun · 31/05/2013 18:19

Sorry haven't had a chance to keep up with the thread. I've had to put James in his car seat in the next room, I just can't take any more crying and wriggling. It's been 72 hours. I really don't remember teething being this bad with the other two boys. I've had about 11 hours sleep in total over the last three nights and I'm actually shaking I'm so tired. Poor little mite is whinging and crying to himself. But he's been fed, had milk, nappy change, Calpol, dummy etc. and he's still crying.

Hello!

MM can send you my incontinent cat to shit in his shoes if you like?
Pidj we had scampi and chips for tea, yum yum. Not quite brave enough to give F the same though.
Chasing I'm glad to hear you bailed out of the birthday celebrations, no doubt it would have been hell on earth. A tiny part of me will miss the SIL stories though...
Is it izzy who's got a long wait to see paeds? That's shocking Sad

We had a letter today, from the paediatrician. Here, they offer an advice and guidance service for some cases, so rather than see the child, they respond quickly by letter (within 4 working days on this occasion!). The GPs referral letter suggested lactose intolerance, despite me saying quite clearly it was CMPI, anyhoo, the paed corrected this and said, yes, CMPI, refer to dietitian (already done), Nutramigen. The future plan...try a regular formula in 3-6 months! Er...no. I think I may go for a more gradual approach if you don't mind!

It's shocking the different treatment we have all received, and dreadfully sad that some of us are having to wait such a long time for answers.

Lovely day in the park with a picnic, spot of gardening. Both girls worn out, so hopefully they will sleep well tonight.

PetiteRaleuse · 31/05/2013 18:22

stunt Flowers and Wine and big

BigPigLittlePig · 31/05/2013 18:23

Oooh poor J, and poor you stunt. Is Wine needed? For you not J although it might help him

PetiteRaleuse · 31/05/2013 18:26

I am also shocked at the medical treatment a lot of you have received over the last year. I am a huge supporter of the NHS but it sometimes seems to not know its arse from its elbow. 10 weeks for a paeds consult is ludicrous.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 31/05/2013 18:41

Oh stunt there's not much I can say to help. I've had a bad day with J too. He's been clingy and upset and sick and runny poos. Not a good day but it's Friday and hopefully DH will be home eventually.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 31/05/2013 18:42

Yes it's me having the ten week wait. This is ridiculous I feel, especially as we've already been at A&E over it!

PurplePidjin · 31/05/2013 19:01

PR only oven stuff!

VQ he has a dick made of diamond?

Stunt bit woo but how about a baltic amber anklet or necklace? R's anklet was £4 off amazon, and he whinges a bit but no full on screaming? I know many people who absolutely swear by it

BPLP not sure I'd risk prawns either tbh, R had naked fish fingers and peas mushed with a tbsp bm to get a soggy texture,

YellowWellies · 31/05/2013 19:05

Oh Stunt its probably down to his reflux getting worse with teething. Jonas has been totes emosh today too. I really hope there's a tooth - he did chill the fuck out after anbesol. Sadly its DHs leaving do tonight (he's been head hunted for a new job Smile ) so its just me for bed and bath. I have got a night out in lieu next week and he's under threat that he's doing the morning if its a bad night so he's not likely to get trollied. I have a Wine with my name on it. Wish me luck.

Today has been a disaster - got carried away looking at weaning ideas in Asda (potato scones, cherries and falafel on the menu next week) and had to run 4 miles with the buggy only to miss the weigh in clinic by 3 minutes. Got home to find a sudden thunder storm about to drench the washing so had to grab it off the line with a screeching bear in one arm. Arse munching turd stainage Envy Envy Envy

BigPigLittlePig · 31/05/2013 19:08

Det what is this toddle pod of which you speak? Are you planning to use it all night?

ChasingDaisy · 31/05/2013 19:16

Oh stunt Sad. Massive hugs and Wine I wish I knew what the answer was, but I really hope you get some respite soon.

MM there is some great advice from the ladies here. I would reckon that he does realise to some degree when he has been a twunt as his behaviour sounds like it goes in good/bad cycles. I am going through the same here, but am in a 'good' cycle at the moment.

Sounds like the quiche cats might be able to run a good business in hiring themselves out to disgruntled quichettes for shitting and pissing duties.

pig dont worry, me not going to the meal will cause drama aplenty so there are bound to be inlaw tales to tell.

ChasingDaisy · 31/05/2013 19:16

Oh and izzy a ten week wait is utterly ridiculous. I am very Angry on your behalf.

YellowWellies · 31/05/2013 19:49

The wonderful neonatologist who saved my premmie niece's life is cycling from John O'Groats to Land's End to raise money for the NICU - if you could spare something, anything to help a shy and retiring hero (too shy to rattle the change tin / harass total strangers) help the most tiny and fragile babies go home with their families - that would be so kind. Here's the link www.justgiving.com/LEJOG-for-babies-2013/

YellowWellies · 31/05/2013 19:50

OK how do I add a link on my tablet.?.. Hmm Confused Confused Confused

PurplePidjin · 31/05/2013 19:56

www.justgiving.com/LEJOG-for-babies-2013/

YW's linkie :)

YellowWellies · 31/05/2013 19:59

Thanks love!

ValiumQueen · 31/05/2013 20:12

(((Stunt)))

Sophiathesnowfairy · 31/05/2013 20:26

Need a tiny weeny bit of ice cream. A lovely but tiring day.

PetiteRaleuse · 31/05/2013 20:36

that impressionist on bgt is freaking annoying.

Pikz · 31/05/2013 20:36

Stunt big hugs.

We also have a screaming teething baby who has cut his first tooth at the top. We had hours of tears and meltdowns before I got him to sleep so feel for you.

Izzy that is ridiculous.

Right am off to pick DP up from aeroport! Yay!

StuntNun · 31/05/2013 20:36

Thanks for the kind comments and hugs. It looks like we're having a massive worsening of reflux due to teething. I'm thinking about upping J's ranitidine dose but then I think he spits most of it out anyway. He seems to quite like the Gaviscon. I might start him on anti-histamine to help with the teething. He's already on wall-to-wall Calpol. I have been so close to losing it lately, I suspect that a few absurdly shitty nights on top of six months of accumulated sleep debt are causing a psychological breakdown. What has actually, and bizarrely, helped is finding out that DS1's trumpet teacher had screwed up and his exam is on Tuesday, not the end of June as expected. He's nowhere near ready and now we have three days to get him prepared. Just what the doctor ordered - more stress! Once all this and my OU exams are over I am going to lose the plot big time.
